The book started to glow again as it flipped pages. I couldn't reach it since I was still tied up in a chair with chains. 'What is it again?' I asked as it made a sound only I could understand. 'No, not another one of them. What do they want?' 'Oh, of course, I'm the chosen one and they want my powers.'

The book started to float and dropped on my lap. "Can you get me out of here? Of course not. You are a book. What was I expecting?' The book stopped glowing. 'Awwn, don't be sad. I didn't mean to be unkind, but I really need to get to Chase, so how can I get out of here?'

'What? You don't think I can control myself? I love Chase and I can't hurt him, so I really need to see him one last time if I'm really going to die in two days' time.'

'You want me to feed? But bookie, I don't want that and I don't want to hurt anyone I love, and I still don't know why I can't remember what happened earlier. 'How about you show me?'
