"Kyaahhhh!!!" Rael can't hide her happiness when Jinji and Zol saw her.

"Hey what happened to you? Screaming early in the morning." said Zol who covered his ears.

"Why are you so happy, Rael?" Jinji asked. 

"Jin, Zol!" Rael giggled.

The two looked at each other in confused.

"Hihihi Min wants to court me! Kyaahhhh!" she jumps with excitement.

"Psh. I thought she won in a lottery." Zol crossed his arms.

Jinji smiled. "I'm happy for you Rael, but always remember..love the person who will respect you and will not play with your heart."

"Hehe aye aye Jin!" Rael saluted.

"Did I heard it right? Min is courting you?" They looked at Mei Lin, as usual she's with her minions.

"Can you stop your imaginations? someone like Min will not be interested in a cheap and low class girl like you" she said while raising her an eyebrow and looked at her from head to toe.

Min is one of Mei Lin's ex-boyfriend. Almost all of the popular guys at their university became Mei Lin's boyfriend, except Xander.

"For sure, he will just use you and make you as one of his toys. Wake up from dreaming girl." She added then they laughed.

Rael confronted her. "You said earlier that Min doesn't like cheap and low class girl right? Now I understand why he left you? Because he realized that you are also cheap and low class so he looked for someone else. Waha-ha-ha" she said with an evil laugh.

Mei Lin gnashed her teeth. "How dare you to call me cheap! As far as I know the guys here only noticed you because of Miao's influence. We are not at the same level duh! Im the campus queen and you? You're a trash!"

Rael clenched her fists, she was about to kick Mei Lin but Jinji grabbed her arm.

"Don't, don't waste your time to someone like her" Jinji whispered.

Rael calmed herself down and then crossed her arms. "If you're calling me trash why don't you think of yourself? Min dumped you and replaced you. That means you're also a trash now. Bleh!" Rael looked at Jinji. "Let's go guys"

The three laughed and left.

"Psh… Argh!!! I hate you!" irritated Mei Lin shouted. She stomped her feet because of anger.

Miao smiled when she saw Xander waiting for her, they are now at the rooftop. 

"Hi!" Xander smiled.

"Sorry I'm late." she said.

"It's okay I just arrived too, what is the important thing you wanted to say?"

"Uhm..actually .." she fidgeted.

She's too nervous.

"Why?" Xander asked.

The young man remained staring at her. She closed her eyes, this is it..She will do it now. For her and Xander's future and to stop her marriage with Vlad.

She took a deep breath then looked into Xander's eyes. "X-Xander… I love you!"

The young man was surprised by what she said.

"I like you for a long time… uhm, since childhood. I know this is surprising but..yeah, I love you. " she continued.

Xander chuckled. "I never thought you would tell me that, I can't believe it."

"Ehh? I'm not joking Xan!" she frowned.

"Haha I know, I know." Xander pinched her cheeks. "And you know what? I love you too .."

Her eyes widened. "R-Really?"

"Yup, I like you since we were kids I was just scared to admit my feelings to you because I thought you might stay away from me. I can't afford to lose you." he said.

Miao was really surprised… "Really? Y-You don't want to lose me?"

Xander smiled and nodded.

"Yieehh!" Miao hugged him happily. "I love you so much Xander!"

"I love you more, Miao" he said.

"WHAT? YOU TWO ARE OFFICIALLY COUPLE NOW???" Rael, Jinji and Zol asked at the same time.

"Yup hihi." Miao can't help herself from blushing and covered her face.

"Oh my! Im so happy for both of you, twinnie!" said Rael.

"Finally." Jinji said.

"We must celebrate! Miao finally have a boyfriend!" said Zol.

"That's right!" Rael agreed.

"Wait, how about Vlad?" Jinji suddenly asked.

Rael looked at Miao again.

"Yeah, you're getting married. Who will you choose among the two?" Rael asked too.

"Duh? Who said I would marry the rude Vladimir Gu? Xander is the one I love and he is the only one I will marry." said Miao.

"Then good luck, I hope Mr. Gu will understand that." said Zol.

"Don't worry guys, I have a plan. Wait for my announcement about the cancellation of our marriage, sooner or later bwahahaha!" Miao is so happy today…

"Well, we support you too. Fighting!" Rael cheered for her.

They group hugged.

"And because of that, let's go to the Golden Palace! My treat!" Miao said cheerfully.

"Yeheeeyyy!" the three applauded.

Miao and her friends are celebrating happily.

"Why you didn't invite Xander? The celebration is for the two of you." Rael asked.

"I did but they have a practice today. But it's okay because we will have a date later hehe." Miao replied.

Jinji is looking at her phone she feels frustrated when she saw that Gyu has still no reply to her messages.

"The foods here are great I wish I could buy this restaurant." Zol said while eating.

But they got interrupted when the waiter approached them.

"Is everything okay?" Vlad asked when he entered the Golden Palace.

He instructed Mr. Hans to close the restaurant because of an important event. The chairman of RKI came today to discuss about the new product that they will be releasing next week. He heard that today was also his birthday so he decided to use the Golden Palace to celebrate the old man's birthday.

And for not to offend the costumers who are currently eating at the restaurant, he ordered the manager to refund their fees.

"Sir, the costumers have left except for a group in the VIP room." said Mr. Hans.

Vlad turned serious again.

He walked to the VIP room, who would dare to oppose his plans today?

"No way! We haven't finished eating yet, I don't care if you will refund what we paid. You are ruining our celebration!" Miao complained to the restaurant manager.

"Miao..let's go, it's fine" said Jinji.

"No Jin! They can't do that to us. We have rights!" Miao looked at the manager again. "Tell me, who ordered you to close this restaurant? Is he the President of our country? Or a king from another country?" She was really annoyed.

"M-Maam, we understand what you feel but…" the manager could not continue what she was about to say.

"But what? Don't you know how to treat costumers equally? Tell me who the hell it is!" she asked again.

"Me.." said the cold voice.

They quickly looked at the guy who just arrived.

Miao feels like a cold water had been poured on her when she saw Vlad, his face is very serious.

"It's daddy Vlad" Rael whispered to her.

"I am the owner of this restaurant so I have the rights to close it and besides we will refund what you paid." his

voice was too cold.

Miao wants to faint. What the heck! Why she didn't know that Vlad was also the owner of the Golden Palace?

Vlad walks toward her and looked in her eyes. "But if you don't want to leave, it's okay you can join in our party besides you are my wif ----- "

"It's OK! There's no problem hahaha I'm just joking Mr. Gu. We're leaving now and we are not interested about the refund. Bye bye Mr. Gu!" Miao interrupted what he would want to say.

She immediately pulled her friends out of the VIP room. They had to get out of this place quickly before that monkey announce about their relationship.

"Seriously, why did we leave too early? Vlad invited us." said Rael while they are walking at parking lot.

"As if I will join them. He almost said I am his wife. Gosh! There are many staff inside I do not want to be the headlines in the social medias because of him." she said while opening the car.

"Miao is right her situation is very complicated. Xander is her boyfriend and he doesn't know the things going

on about Miao and Vlad, he will get hurt if the public will spread the news about her and Vlad's marriage" said Jinji.

"I understand, so what is your plan?" Rael asked.

Miao looked at them. "Just trust me guys." she said then get inside the car. They also get inside the car and finally left the restaurant.

The next morning…

Miao got out of her car and put her shades on, she looked at the building of Gu Empire.

"Psh..I never dream to be a Mrs. Gu." she muttered.

She walked straight into the building.

"Good morning ma'am, how may I help you?" the receptionist asked.

"I want to see Mr. Gu" she said.

"Do you have an appointment with him ma'am?" the receptionist asked again.

"No I don't have but I want to talk to him, it's really important." she insisted.

"I'm sorry ma'am but you need to set an appointment before you meet him." the receptionist answered.

"What? This is important, I want to see him now!"

"I'm really sorry ma'am, we're just following the policy."

She began to get irritated, suddenly a man approached her.

"Miss Xiao?" said by the man.

She looked at him, who is this man? "Yes?"

The man smiled. "I'm Mr. Hans, Mr. Gu's assistant. Do you need anything from him?"

Oh yeah! She remembered now, he's with Vlad when they had dinner at the Golden Palace.

Hmm. It's time to act. She smirked.

"Mr. Hans, can you help me?" she pretends to cry. "I really want to talk to Mr. Gu huhu I have

something important to tell him. I don't have his phone number so I don't know how to contact him, I decided to come here and hoping that I will get a chance to talk to him." she took her handkerchief and wiped the

tears from her eyes.

"I understand Miss Xiao." Mr. Hans look at the receptionist. "She's one of the most important guess here, once you see her let her in and come to Mr. Gu's office. Understand?"

"Yes sir." the receptionist nodded.

"Follow me Miss Xiao." Mr. Hans said.

Miao immediately smiled, her acting skills really worked.

Miao couldn't help but be amazed as they walked inside the building, the Gu Empire was really huge.

They stopped in front of an office, its wall is made from glass.

"We're here." said Mar. Hans.

Miao took a deep breath.

Vlad was busy signing the documents when he heard a knock.

"Come in." he ordered without looking at the door.

"Sir, Miss Xiao is here." said Mr. Hans.

He stopped, he closed the folder then looked at him. "Let her in"

Mr. Hans nodded and told Miao to enter.

When Miao entered the office Mr. Hans left them.

"Do you have a problem?" Vlad asked.

Miao put the envelope on his table.

"What's this?" Vlad asked without emotion and then opened the envelope.

"It is an agreement." said Miao.

Vlad raised an eyebrow as he read what was written in the document.

According to this, Miao wants to call off their marriage.

"I already signed there, all I need is your signature." the girl added.

He closed the folder then put it back on the table. "Tell me, why do you want to cancel our marriage?"

"Coz I don't love you. Marriage is made up of trust and love but we don't have that. We are totally strangers, I know you also want to marry the person you really love, right?"

Vlad suddenly felt annoyed.

She seems to be the only woman who has the guts to reject him, many women admires him and wanted to be his wife. But this woman is different. 

"What if I don't sign it?" he asked.

He can see the surprise look on her face.

"What? No way, we can't get married. We do not know each other and we don't have relationship. Don't be ridiculous Mr. Gu!"

Vlad just shook his head and holding himself from laughing.

Miao walked towards him.

"No." he answered coldly.

Because of anger, Miao pressed Vlad's shoulder so hard.

"Ouch!" Vlad glared at him.

"Psh. I hate you! hmph! Remember this Mr. Gu I will never stop, I will make sure that we will never get married!" Miao left his office.

Vlad laughed, such a spoiled brat.

What can she do? He always get what he wants.

"Curse you Vladimir Gu! I will make sure that we will never get married!" Miao shouted angrily.

They are now at the café.

"Twinnie, just give up, because Vlad is meant for you." Rael said while sipping her frappe.

"No! if I give up, what will happen to me and Xander? I can't live without Xander." she said.

"But it's too difficult to convince Mr. Gu and even if he agrees, his parents will definitely object too." said Jinji.

Miao frowned. "Then what should I do? Waahhh this is so stressful!" she leaned on the table.

When they finished, they decided to leave. They were already outside the café when they saw Gyu from the other side of the road.

"Oh, is that Professor Gyu?" Rael pointed him.

"He's with professor Ye." Zol added.

They looked at Jinji, they can see the sadness on her face as she looked at Gyu and Miss Ye.

"Jin… I think they're just hanging out." said Miao.

Jinji forced to smile. "Let's go guys." she said then walked first.

"Is there something going on between them?" Miao whispered to Rael.

"I dunno, she didn't tell anything to me." Rael replied.

"There's a rumor that Professor Gyu and Miss Ye are dating." said Zol.

"What? That's not true, right? Jinji and Gyu are living together. So it is impossible for that to happen." said Miao.

"Yes. " said Rael.

"It's just a rumor." Zol shrugged.

Vlad is still staring at the document that Miao gave to him earlier.

"She's really out of her mind." he muttered then threw the folder in the trash bin.

Even if how many times she will force him, he will never agree, first of all he is Vladimir Gu no one can dictate him except his father. Once something is planned, it cannot be canceled. Second, it will affect XMM, if their

marriage got canceled XMM will be given to someone else. It will have a big impact on Xiao family.

"Sir." Mr. Hans bowed in front of him.

He looked at him.

He and Miao will live here after they get married, even though he doesn't love her he still has to perform the role of being a husband.

"Plant a lot of roses in the garden, I want the red one." he ordered the gardener.

"Yes sir." replied the old man.

"Make sure that every corner of the mansion is always clean, I don't want to see dust anywhere." he added.

The maids nodded.

"Mr. Hans, give to Mrs. Feng the lists of the dishes that she will only prepare for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also include what Miss Xiao wants to eat." he ordered.

"Yes sir." said Mr. Hans.

"Are the cctv properly set up?" he asked.

"Yes sir, it's already connected to your phone and laptop." replied Mr. Hans.

"Great, I want everything to be perfect," he said.

He sat down at the long dining table then drank his coffee. "How is Miss Xiao today?"

"According to the report after she left Gu Empire, she hanged out with her friends at a café near to their university."

"Haha I thought you and Min are already dating?" said Zol.

"Yes we are, are you jealous?" Rael smirked.

Zol scowled. "Who's jealous huh?"

Then the two began to fight again.

"They always acting like kids." Jinx said with a smile.

Xander looked at Miao again. "Are you free tonight?"

"Of course." she said.

"That's great, my cousin and I will have dinner together."

"Cousin? Ah, the one who will get married?"

"Yup, actually the night when we were going to meet to celebrate his upcoming wedding, there was an emergency and I failed to come. I want to give him my gift personally so I invited him for dinner. I decided to take you and introduce to him, is it okay?"

She's hoping that Vlad is not here tonight.

"Let's go?" Xander asked.

She smiled, she holds his hand and they went inside the restaurant. They went to a VIP room. When they entered, Miao immediately saw a young man sitting, she can only see his back while drinking his wine.

"Hey bro!" Xander greeted him warmly.

The man turned around and looked at them. Miao was suddenly stucked in her position when she recognized him.

V-Vlad??? Vlad is Xander's cousin?

"Congrats bro! Finally, you're getting married!" Xander was very happy to see him.

"Thanks." Vlad said then looked at her.

He was also surprised to see her but he didn't show it to them.

"By the way bro, I want you to meet my girlfriend, Miao Miao." Xander introduced her to him.

Vlad stared at her, his eyes was very cold.

Miao was too stunned to speak, what will she gonna do? She can't believe that Vlad and Xander are cousins. She's so stupid,

why did she forgot that Gu was Xander's middle name. Damn it!

"Nice to meet you, Miss Miao" Vlad said coldly then shifted his attention on his wine.

They sat down.

"He's my gift for you, Miao helped me choose this for you." said Xander.

"Thank you." said Vlad then put the gift at his side.

"By the way, why you didn't invite your fiancée? I can't wait to meet her." Xander asked.

Miao looked at Vlad nervously. 

"My fiancée?" Vlad said while staring at her.

Miao doesn't know what to do.

"She's busy, maybe next time." Vlad replied.

Miao heaved a sigh of relief. 

"Okay, let's eat." said Xander.

Xander and Vlad were busy talking while Miao remained silent. She can't enjoy her food because Vlad glances at her from time to time.

Why is destiny so cruel to her? Her boyfriend's cousin is her fiancé!

She need to make Vlad agree to cancel their marriage before Xander find it out.

He nodded then laid the glass on the table. "But we still have to continue the wedding, our family has an agreement."

Miao sighed.

She understood what Vlad wanted to say, she will be the one who will decide if she will gonna tell Xander the truth or not. One wrong move, it will affect her family.

"I'm back." said Xander.

Miao immediately sipped her wine.

She took a glance at Vlad, he was busy slicing his steak.

Rael is enjoying her food when her phone rang.

"Min is calling!"

Zol who was busy watching tv looked at her.

She quickly answered his call. "Hi, Min!"

Zol rolled his eyes and then continued watching.

"Hehe I'm fine how about you?" she even bit the teddy bear she was holding. "REALLY?" she stood up.

Zol was surprised and looked at her again.

"Hehe of course, what time? All right, I'm coming. Bye bye!"

"Kyaaahhhh!!!" she's jumping with excitement. "Waaahh Zol! Min and I will have a date today!!!" she's shaking his shoulders with great joy.

"Y-Yeah I heard that no need to shake me!!!" Zol complained.

"Im so excited, I have to prepare now!" then she ran to her room.

Zol just shook his head.

He hang out in her condo because she said she's bored but now she will leave him alone in her condo.

Rael waved at Min when she saw him at the park, she ran towards him.

"No you're just in time, I'm sorry if I didn't pick you up the truth is, me and my friend decided to hang out at his place but there was an emergency so we canceled it. It's boring so I decided to invite you here." he said.

"It's okay, I'm actually happy that you invited me." she said.

"Are you hungry? Let's go buy some foods." he said.

She nodded.

Miao stopped thinking deeply when she heard Xander's call, he keeps talking to her but Miao seems not listening.

"Are you all right? I've been asking you but it seems that you didn't hear me, do you have a problem?" he asked worriedly.

"Are you sure? It seems like something is bothering you." he said.

"Yeah im fine, what is it?" she said.

"Well, my mom asked me to join her in visiting Q island. We will stay there for two weeks, is it okay with you?" he asked.

"Of course, don't worry about me I'll be fine." she said.

"Really? You will not miss me?" he pouted.

"I'm still full Rael." said Min who was busy playing with his mobile game.

"How about popcorns?" she asked again.

"You can buy it if you want." he said.

"Oh look there's a cute dog over there." she pointed out.

"Really?"

She looked at Min, his attention was only on the game. She frowned, Min and her had been sitting at the park all day. After they ate, he did nothing but play on his phone.

"Min…"

"Yes?" he asked without even looking at her.

"Can we go home now? I'm tired." she said weakly.

"Sure." he got up first and walked.

Rael felt sad, is this the romantic date she was expecting? Why does something seems wrong…

They were so quiet until they got back to her condo.

"Hey! How's your date?" Zol asked when she came back.

He hadn't come home yet, he was really waiting for her to return.

"I'm tired." she replied sadly then went straight to her room.

Zol scratched his head. "What happened?" he muttered.
