Chapter 9: This will be useful, oh and that too

I need 2 main skills.

1- To help me stay calm during a fight. I, am not a fighter, I have not taken any living things life before, well, insects do not count. I do not expect myself to be fine after taking a life, so I need a skill, to offset that. I also do not expect myself to not kill any humans. In this world, I will eventually have to take a life if I want to survive, so I need to be prepared.

2- I need a clone skill.

I will soon be asking my father if I can go into a F-Rank gate, now normally, nothing happens in a F-Rank dungeon, but this specific one I am going to go to, if something that the Main Character will go to, which means that all must go to shit there.

This dungeon is also where 1 'bad guy' will gain a specific mana circulation method, and so will the main character.

This 'Bad guy' is a major antagonist till the main character reaches the rank of transcendence.

So how I made the gate, is so that its use to be an A-Rank gate, but over time, it became a F-Rank gate.

Now, what is a mana circulation method?

A mana circulation method, is a method that will allow one to gain large amounts of mana, and also allow the mana to have an 'Elemental function.'

Now not everyone awakens with elemental mana, in fact, majority of people use Mana circulation methods.

However, the High-Rankers, people above C-Rank, keep the mana circulation method a secret so other lower-level noble families and commoners do not find out about them.

Anyway, normally the main character and antagonist are supposed to find this circulation method when they reach E-Rank, and go for a dungeon exploration via the Brethall Royal Academy.

And why do I need a clone skill? It is to gain both of those mana circulation methods.

Both mana circulation methods are at the Legendary rank, however, I believe that with the Author skill, I can combine them.

And the only way to obtain both of them, was to be at 2 places at once, and since that is not possible without a skill, I have to make one to help me.

I went into the Author Skill, and pressed on the Passive Skill section and crafted a skill.

[Passive Skill: Calm mind and soul

Rank: Rare

Main Ability: Keeps the user of this skill calm and calculative in all circumstances, and will allow the user to think without his emotions.

Extra Information: The skill's rank, is a major flaw of the skill, as the skill will stop be useful, after the user gains his 3rd class (D-Rank). Skill activates only when required to, so that the users emotions are not constantly suppressed.

Skill Evaluation: A good skill which will help the user to survive in a world which he has never 'seen' before.

Cost: 400 points]

I then pressed the button which allowed me to craft and a few texts appeared in front of me.

And just like that, I had another skill which would be of great use to me.

I then started to craft an active skill.

Main Ability: To create a clone which is able to carry out specific instructions made by the user.

Extra Ability 1: The clone can take damage to the user

Extra Ability 2: The clone half the health of the user (Health is 10 times vitality)

Cost: 100mp to create a clone and an additional 50mp/hour to sustain a clone

Cool down: 10 minutes

Skill Evaluation: A skill which can be further evolved, and is useful to the user. At the current level, only 1 clone can be created, but the number will increase in the future

Cost: 600 Points]

I then pressed create, and the Author skill approved of the skill creation.

'Right, now that this is done, I should go and meet my father,' I thought, as I cleaned myself up, left all the items in the room, and left the room.

I went out of the room, asked some random maid to show me the direction to my fathers location, and they sent me to his room.

It was only as I walked through the mansion of the family did I realise how massive this place was. I also saw a lot of different places, such as the guards training area, the dinning hall, and a garden.

I eventually reached my fathers room, and I could hear some shouting from inside the room.

I didn't really bother do, since it had nothing to do with me, I just waited till the person inside would leave.

It was only after 10 minutes and when the screaming stopped, a 14-year-old kid, with light blue hair exited the room.

My first reaction was nothing special, I just assumed it was a cousin of mine or something, until I saw what was written on the text.
