The Sealed Demon – Ferigo

Free the girls. Free the girls.

That's currently what's on my mind. And if only there isn't a demon trying to stop me from that goal, I would've done that already. But the guy was persistent.

He managed to free himself from the earthen prison I set on him and went after me.

Seriously though. This is getting on my nerves.

All of a sudden, I feel nothing but pain.

Shit! That bastard's claws are poking out of my abdomen! But no matter, I am already inside the ritual circle and I can see the barrier around the closest girl collapsing. This is my chance!

I grab the girl, using a dagger made of ice to cut the rope trapping her limbs to the cross, and get her out of the way. I got the claws away from my body in the process and I land on the ground breathing heavily.

Damn it! It hurts! I may have an <Auto-Healing> skill but getting hurt is still painful!

"What did you do!" growls the upper demon and suddenly launches itself at me.

Wah. Thank goodness I manage to evade that. I would've been skewered by his claws if I was any slower.

"How dare you!"

Now then, what to do? The wound and pain from being stabbed is still there and I'm also bleeding.

"You will pay for your interference!" yells the upper demon and charges at me once again.

I see his claws coming at me so I immediately evade it and throw a kick at his direction. Using my size as an advantage, I start running around him, evading and attacking him at the same, firing spells that can do damage to him. I can't believe there will be a day where I'm actually thankful about my size.

The demon seems to can't estimate my height since I keep jumping around and he keeps on missing me.

Not to mention I'm light and agile so having him run after me is easy.

Now then, how do I stop him from chasing me and attacking me? The upper demon, Gutria, is lean and his claws are dangerously long and sharp. He seems to be more physical and brawn though rather than using magic to reinforce his attacks. Well, I could be wrong but it's what I noticed so far.

Eeeh? Why is he smirking all of a sudden?

Shit. I just felt chills.

Damn! I can't move! A pair of arms has me locked in place and due to the height difference my legs are now dangling in the air.

The heck with this!

"Let go! Let go of me!"

I try to kick, swear and squirm my way out of the arm that has me restrained but it's not budging! Slayer! Do something!

I am met with silence.

SLAYER! Answer me! What is going on? Why is the [Slayer System] being silent all of a sudden?

"Hmm… Blood. Fresh human blood."

Eh? That voice is so creepy. It's giving bad vibes.

"I've been sealed in that awful place for a long time. My servants did well in breaking the seal."

Don't tell me… The guy holding me in place is the demon sealed by Sakura-nee's grandmother?! I thought I managed to stall the ritual by freeing one of the girls?!

"Ah, unfortunately for you little boy, the ritual did manage to break my seal."

Did I say that out loud? And hey! Who are you calling a little boy?!

"Now let me feast on your blood and flesh. And once I'm done, I shall summon my twenty-two legions of demons to wreak havoc in this world!"

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHGGGGGG!

He just bit me! In the shoulder! And it's painful! It's more painful than that upper demon's claws piercing my abdomen!

I can hear and feel my blood getting sucked, as well as my strength. My vision is already becoming very blurry. I can barely make out my companions' forms that are still fighting the demons around us. And then, darkness.

Damn it! I thought I have become strong so I don't have to end up like this? Then does this mean this guy is like really strong?

Ah shit! Am I going to die here? That's so unfair! I've only recently restarted my life! Yes it's going to be over already!

"Snap out of it already!" I hear a voice from the edge of my subconscious. Who the hell is that? "Stop your monologue and listen to me."

Seriously, who are you? I'm dying here. Just leave me to die in peace.

"I'm not going to let you die. Not yet. You still have something to do."

Ha? Are you nuts? A demon is literally sucking my life away!

"I thought you're going to be the strongest to avenge everyone in the orphanage? You haven't made that bastard pay yet! And didn't he look like the guy that killed you in your previous life? What are you hesitating for? Are you such a coward that you're going against your own promise and principle?"

That's very harsh you know, saying those words. It's like… you… Wait! Do you perhaps know me?

"Just get out of here April and do what you need to do!"

I feel like getting pulled somewhere and I'm suddenly surrounded by bright lights.

What happened? And why does my body feel so hot? I feel like some sort of energy is pooling inside my body ready to burst at any moment!

"What is this?" I hear a familiar voice. Ah, it's the demon that's sucking my blood. "My feast of blood!"

I feel power running throughout my body. And it's unlike anything I've felt before!

Eh? I'm no longer in the demon's grasp. Instead, I'm floating! And glowing!

Wait, I'm not gonna turn out to be some sort of angel right? I mean sure Metatron somehow talked to me but that's not really related to right now.

"Little boy, who are you?" asks the confused Ferigo who I can see to have fallen to his knees.

From my peripheral vision, I can see the demons and yokais fall, their foreheads to the ground like some sort of power is preventing them from getting up.

I'm not doing this, am I?

Eh? Unlocked? Does that mean it's one of those skills marked by question marks? Like <Immortality>? But still, <Demon Master>? What is going on?!

Eh? Demonic form? Why do I have a demonic form?

I feel myself lowering to the ground where I remain standing, face to face with what I assume to be Ferigo. He looks human but his golden eyes are offsetting me a bit.

"Drinking blood without permission is rude you know?" I growl at him.

"You… you…You are a Demon Master! Impossible! Only the Xenos…"

Why does he look like he just realized something?

"You are someone who carries the blood of the Xenos Family!"

What is this guy talking about?

EEEEEEEEHHHK! He's kneeling! He's kneeling! Why is he kneeling?

"I, Ferigo von Purson, greet the great bearer of the Xenos blood."

He sounds rather fancy.

"I, as well as my twenty-two legions of demons are at your service, Master."

EEEEEEEHHHH?

Ah shit! I feel dizzy! I guess it's because of blood loss? I still have no idea what's going on though but I think I'm gonna have to pass out now. I really hope I won't end up as demon chow because of this.
