Heretic God x Kiss x Breakout

"Yeah… I can feel it... a Heretic God?"

Shizuka's face told me she wanted to know how I knew about Heretic Gods, but she must've decided against it, since she just told me to follow them to their base. I had something else to do though, so I asked them to wait for me. Then I began running towards our classroom.

"Megan!"

When she heard me and turned around, I grabbed her hand and began pulling her towards the school's entrance. She was so surprised that she actually yipped, though it sounded so cute I almost kissed her right there.

The reason I wanted to take Megan with me was to kill two birds with one stone. She would find out about my powers and the magical side of society and I would be able to protect her better that way. I also wanted to go back home and get my family too, but I didn't have enough time. Heretic Gods were destructive beings, and the more time it took to subjugate it, the more damage it would cause. Since the school was close to their base -literally a block apart- Megan would've been in danger had I left her there.

Once we reached the main door, Shizuka and Jean were waiting for us while looking at the building that looked like an embassy of sorts. It was pretty similar to the New York Sanctum were Dr. Strange lived. When they finally caught sight of us, they glanced at Megan and then looked at me. I simply nodded, understanding their gesture as them asking if I was sure. Before we could move though, someone wanted answers.

"Wait a second! Alan, what is going on?! Why are Jean and the Principal here?! What is that storm above that building?!"

With a sigh, I looked her in the eyes and began a short explanation of what was going on. She was extremely disbelieving at first, but when I created a flower made of ice she relented. For her I created a Lily, since I thought it represented her innocent nature better. Seeing her surprised expression made me forget about the situation. The blush on her face when I tucked the flower behind her ear pushed something in my mind, and when I realized what I had done, I was already kissing her.

"Look, once this is all over, I'll explain everything I know properly" was what I said as soon as we separated from each other. I only received a bashful nod for an answer, to which I smiled and went back to taking her hand. Shizuka seemed to be fairing pretty well, with only a slight blush showing. Jean on the other hand, was a blush with legs, which made it impossible for me to not tease her "Ara~ perhaps Jean also wants a kiss?"

"W-What do you mean?! We have no time for that!"

Before I could laugh at her nervous reaction, I felt a pinch on my ribs and looked at Megan, who was glaring at me. Giving her a look that said "what", she simply humphed and turned her head while still running behind me. I understood the meaning of that, so I silently promised to pay more attention to her before moving on to anyone else.

When I went through the main door of the Order's base, I felt as if I had gone through a barrier

'Probably the defences of the Order but... how did Khione attack then?'

I looked at Shizuka and she seemed to understand what my eyes meant, so she began explaining without me actually asking.

"We kept Khione in here for safeguarding... I... I don't know how she woke up"

That could only mean one thing. The attack came from the inside. According to what I knew, most Heretic Gods didn't wake up on their one, but were woken up from their sealing place. Khione wasn't a major Goddess, so I doubted she could've being awoken by her own power.

"*sigh* We have no time to think about it now, Khione is the priority"

Running through the base, we took a spiral staircase that lead underground, probably to their actual base and not this façade. The further below we went, the colder the air around us got and the more rustling and yelling we could hear.

By the time we were about to leave the staircase, we could already see bit of ice on the walls and snow on the floor. Khione was certainly rampaging. As soon as we stepped into the base's main chamber, a chilling laugh resounded in the entire place.

"Futile! After so long sleeping, I'm finally back!"

"Hold her back until the leader gets here!"

"Don't let her leave this place!"

"AAAH!"

People were dying all over the place, some impaled by icicles and others simply frozen, without being given the chance to even mutter a sound before their hearts stopped beating. Only ten members of the order were left fighting, and by the sight of it, they wouldn't last for too long. When I saw an icicle fly through the air towards one of the knights, my body reacted on its own.

I dashed from my standing place towards the knight and, before the icicle could hit him, I caught it. What happened next caught even Khione's attention. Under my orders the ice melted until only a sword of ice was left in my hand.

"How?! How can a mere mortal control my divine ice?!"

I couldn't help but smirk. Ice didn't affect me, but I could control it. As long as Khione was around, I had infinite ammo to control, which meant I didn't need to use Mana in generating it, I could just use hers.

"Shizuka, Jean, everyone else, back me up. Megan, please stay close to Shizuka"

When I finished giving my commands, Khione released a drowning amount of Mana. The others must've felt like they were just thrown into a sea of pure, unadulterated energy, but I fared better. Releasing my own Mana, which felt like a lake compared to the Goddess, I shielded the others from her pressure. This seemed to be more than enough to buy me a bit of time to do some tweaks to myself. While dodging and repelling her attacks, I had a chat with Sys.

'Sys, how many SP do I have right now?'

I stopped a Knight from getting frozen and sent an icicle back to Khione. Running back, I created an Ice Shield and gave it to one of the knights, tasking him with Megan's protection.

'Will it make me feel the same pain I felt yesterday?'

[Yesterday you felt pain because your overall physical structure was changed. Now you would only be stacking on top of what was already built, so no. You should only feel a slight discomfort from your muscles]

Khione send a wave of snow and ice dust towards us, which I stopped by getting everyone behind me and creating a big wall of ice, which was reinforced by Shizuka who used her Geo Vision to create another wall behind mine. Jean encased all of us in a wind barrier.

'Then increase my Agility to C and my Strength to D'

Now the real battle would begin.
