Relocate

The next morning, I woke up early because the gentle rays of the sun infiltrated the broken place of the cottage's upper part. I stretched before leaving the bed and felt an overwhelming intuition of determination to live my new life freely through my veins.

"A new day," I whispered with conviction to myself. "From now on, I am a new Alexandria Herald. I refuse to be tethered and bothered by the past anymore. It is my present now. I won't allow my greedy uncle to find me."

I have to disappear from this place so he won't be able to find me. If I find a place to live temporarily then it will solve everything. I can live peacefully and do what I want to do.

In the end, I have to save myself from the enemy and know everything about this new world that I don't even know. So I realized that I have to protect myself from any kind of harm.

So I decided that I would crush this house and make this disappear from this forest. So that no one will be able to tell that there lived any people.

When I was thinking about destroying the house that was made by Alexa's mother, I felt pain in my heart. Like it was telling me not to destroy the house while crying.

"I can't do anything about it, Alexa. If we want to live then we have to destroy it. We need to survive so that we can punish the perpetrator who couldn't let you your mother in her last time."

I muttered and consoled the heart. But will it console this child's heart who really lost her mother and even her life? It is really tragic. But her uncle wasn't even a human but an animal. Who didn't even spare his own sister and niece for his greed? I have to punish him when I am in this body now.

This is not only Alexa's life now but also mine. So I can't be careless. I have to be more careful than ever and make plans.

Thinking this, I departed from this house and went to find where I live in the future. So that wretched man won't find me easily. I explored the waterfall where I was yesterday to find out if there was anything I could use for my everyday life but found nothing. Then I went from there to find another place if I could find any big tree or cave to live in.

After finding all day around the forest, I went again in front of the waterfall. I was thirsty and hungry. In the forest, I found some fruit. I took them while I was adventuring in the forest. If I am hungry I can eat them. So I can walk again.

"I came here again. Do I like this waterfall?"

The word came out of my mouth on its own. I didn't even know I said this.

But seeing the clean water of the waterfall, my thirst increased more than before. Hurriedly, I drank water with my hands full. After drinking the water, I felt peace. Then I ate the fruit and my stomach was full.

Then I went to wash my leg so that I could take a rest. When I went too close to the water, suddenly I saw a cave beside the waterfall. Seeing the cave, I was happy. So happy that the human who was in famine for years, then suddenly got rain to quench their thirst.

I went inside of the cave. But it was not dark in the inside. If you saw it outside, you wouldn't be able to see what's inside it. But if you walk ten steps then you will find it is another world. 

"I think I found my new house. Now I won't have to worry about that wretch man. I will stay here today and leave tomorrow."

Then I stayed in the cave for a night and went to my broken house in the morning. After entering the house, I took the spare old bed cover, an old shawl that would help me from being cold, a wooden bucket for keeping fresh water, and a kitchen knife.

I can't take anything now. Then I lit the fire and burned the house, so there wouldn't be any hollow proof, that it was burned intentionally. But suddenly the rain started in the forest. I know the rain in the forest is dangerous.

I came running far away from the house. The house was almost burned but the rain started. Seeing the rain was becoming more intense I went to the cave beside the waterfall.

In the night, the flood started. The sound of heavy wind came to my ear even though I was inside the cave.

The flood didn't stop for the next three days. I think heaven is also helping me. So that I can hide my presence from the outside of this forest for a while. After the end of the flood, I came out to find some food. One day before, all the fruit end that I was keeping for later. 

But when I came outside of the cave. It was a frightening sight to see. Some big tree was divided from the middle. Some fell on the ground with roots. I was afraid when the flood started that night. Because if I didn't find this cave before the flood then I would've met my end again.

I think I am really lucky to live again. I found some good fruit close to my cave. It is enough for a week. I didn't go anywhere anymore. I just recuperate inside of the cave.

One week later. I came out of my cave and the muddy road of the forest became slightly hard. Now my leg won't stuck in the mud anymore. One week before when I found the fruit on some leaves and others were a little far. I had to walk over this half-leg mud and take the fruit for a living. Even though the waterfall was close, I don't like mud this deep.

"I want to eat meat."

I said with a sigh with the weak mind. If I don't eat nutritious food and nourish my body, I will be weak and won't be able to fight back. So I have to find food with high calories for now. This body is too weak. Look all the bone is showing. 

I walked for a while and saw a rabbit going from there. I hunted it while it was playing with a nut. I got it. Today I will eat rabbit roast. Then I went to my new house.

I cooked the roasted rabbit and ate very happily. I don't need to go hunt today anymore. So I decided to see what was inside this cave.

After walking inside the cave, I found a door. I was surprised to see a door inside this cave. When I first saw the stone light that was giving the brightness in the cave at that time I thought people lived in this cave. But now it cleared my doubt. 

I tried to open the door but it didn't open.

"How will I open this door?"

I said. Then I took out my kitchen rusty knife and tried to cut the door. But it didn't open the door and it attacked me suddenly. I fell on the ground of the other side due to its attack. 

"Pain, pain."

It was really pain. How could that door attack me? Then I stood up and went close to the door. Something was on the door. I saw it deeply. 

"It's a magic circle. I knew it. So is this cave owner a magician? Then if I give some of my blood will it open?"

I opened my mouth and shook my head. Is this possible? No, right. Suddenly I vomited some blood on the door. It fell on the magic circle.

I was surprised to vomit blood. I think the attack was really deep. Suddenly the door opened. I was more surprised to see the door open with my blood than vomiting blood on the door's attack.

"My goodness, it really took my blood to open the door."

Seeing the door open, I hastily entered the room. Suddenly a sound came from nowhere.

"Welcome my child."

Hearing the sound, I was taken aback.

"Who are you?"

I asked with a trembling voice. But it didn't listen to me and gave me an answer. But started to talk again.

"My dear, Alexa. I know that you won't come here. But I hope you come. I kept many things for you here. No one knows about this place. Also, it will only open with your blood. But I won't be able to tell you that on my own. Because we won't see each other again. But don't be sad. I kept many things here for you."

The sound suddenly stopped for a while. I looked everywhere. It looked so luxurious that I thought it was a high-level noble mansion for a while.

"I know you are surprised but there is nothing you or I can do now. So listen carefully. All of this won't exist after you become an adult. I hope you find it very early so that this place can help you. Also, if you enter here you won't be able to go outside before your coming of age. But you can only go outside if you don't touch anything of this place. It is a warning. So if you want to go outside then go now and come back later when you made up your mind."

Hearing this it stopped again. Like it was giving me time to think. Then I came out of that place without touching anything. The door closed.

"Luckily, I didn't touch anything there. I also want to know everything there. But it wasn't in the novel that her mother had this kind of power."

Really! What's happening here? I think the author didn't write the novel well. If he wrote then how could he didn't write this kind of important information? The author scammed us the readers. Why didn't you write very carefully? You are not the one who will experience all of this. It is me who has to go through all of this. I was angry, really angry.

After throwing a tantrum that no one will know, I thought deeply. I think there will be more surprises than this in this life. I have to suffer because of that novel if I trust that novel. I won't trust this novel anymore and do what I want. This world is unknown to me. So I have to be careful more. Who knows where the danger is lurking?
