Hi guys!

We've reached the end of Volume 1, and Clark's new journey will begin in Volume 2. It's been quite a ride—over 120,000 words, the equivalent of a 500-page book! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for sticking with me on this journey, especially Ghastek, BLITZ2, fellowme, MARLENE_ANGEL, Heidi_ramramn, Alien_Space_Bat, Anton_jerome, Adolis, FilteredWater, WarMachine78, Anonny_Anonymous, TheUniqueOne, Primordial_God, Afsoares, and everyone else who has supported me along the way. Truly, without you, this fanfic might not have made it this far. I promise to keep writing until we reach the end of the story.

That being said, I need to take at least a two-week break to finish up some job assignments and complete my doctoral dissertation, which is due by the end of the month. I hope you'll be here when I return because you're a huge part of what keeps me motivated to write this fanfic.

I must admit, there are times when I struggle with the plot and often look to your comments for inspiration. Your feedback on plot holes, characters, and technology suggestions has been incredibly helpful, and I may even incorporate some of your ideas into the story—if they fit with the main plot, of course! So, if you've got any thoughts, feel free to drop them in the comments, and I'll consider them.

See you next month, and thank you once again.
