I was supposed to be The Gamer but the author forgot it midway.

Death, such an arbitrary concept. What could it be? I wonder? Is it the death of the body or the death of the soul? "Sigh~..., Even after death, I cannot understand it." { Ding! Congratulations! First Day On The Island.

Don't worry, I'll do my best to write every day for the next 30 days on this island. I've got it.

+++

"Ummm…" After a week, Masato felt the weight of nostalgia on himself.

His eyes fluttered open, his vision filled with nothing but sliver—a common occurrence for him before he came to this world.

'But, strangely, I can't move my feet today...' Masato thought to himself as he rubbed the silver head sleeping on his body, treating it as a comfortable bed.

He used <<Clairvoyance>> to get a better view of himself and his surroundings, only to find a black head-hugging his leg like a kola and another silver-haired woman hugging his other leg.

The purple-haired girl slept on his right side, while the King of Knights, Artoria, slept on his left side, hugging his hand and drooling.

'Aren't you happy? To wake up surrounded by beauty? Despite the fact that the majority of them resemble children.'

'... Balor... I'm surprised you didn't participate. In fact, you did not poison everyone while they were sleeping.'

'Humph! Don't compare this goddess to lesser beings. She can easily take care for them if she so desires.'

'But you didn't—'

'Because! Even though I despise the fact that you're with another woman to the point where I'd kill them and you, I find it beneath me to use devious means to do so. I am the Goddess of Death, not a barbarian or a coward.'

'Past Goddess of Death... you are simply the personification of a part of my soul.'

'It doesn't change the fact that I am the Goddess of Death.'

Masato didn't say anything else, knowing that even if he did, the conversation would stagnate. It was going to be a waste of time.

He turned to his right, where there was a window, and saw that the sun was just rising. Given that it was summer, it could be 4~5 in the morning.

"I'll sleep a little longer~ Yawn~," he said tiredly before closing his eyes and falling back asleep.

---

"Hmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmm." Masato stared intently at the food in front of him, as if he were witnessing some sort of abomination.

Breakfast was supposed to be simple. Irisviel asked for ingredients, and he gave them to her. But, oddly, the thing in front of him had nothing to do with the ingredients he had provided.

Making him wonder what went wrong during the creation of this... food if it could be called that.

Irisviel was flushed as she looked at Masato, who was staring at the food. It wasn't because she was nervous, but because she was embarrassed.

Her face was more animated than it had been the day before. It appears that a night's sleep with her daughter helped her a lot in getting her thoughts straight.

"Irisviel… I don't want to be rude, but... what happened?" Masato inquired after careful thought.

Artoria and his sword spirits had been in deep sleep since he awoke early in the morning to do some <<Meditation>> for an hour or so, as had Sakura—despite the fact that it was a tremendous task for him to leave his comfortable bed.

Illya was also sleeping, so only he and Irisviel were awake currently.

"I'm sorry..." Irisviel apologized sincerely.

"No, I'm not particularly upset. I'm just... perplexed as to what prompted you to create this." He replied while repeatedly stabbing the 'dish' with a fork to see if it was alive or not.

"I... I definitely did what was written in the book! I'm not sure how it got this way." She defended herself, albeit with a weak argument.

"Well…" Masato looked at her and asked, "Do you want to learn to cook? Not to brag, but I'm a pretty good cook myself."

With his cooking skill at MAX, he could possibly make others foodgasm. Of course, such things were impossible.

It was all a bit of an exaggeration. But enough about how delicious his food tasted now.

"Really?!" Hearing him, Irisviel's face brightened even more than before.

'How simple.' Masato couldn't stop himself from thinking. Her mind was that of a child who was eager to learn more.

"I don't mind at all. There's still some time before everyone else wakes up," Masato said with a smile. " I'll make breakfast for you and you can learn while I do it."

Irisviel enthusiastically nodded. She was really acting cute. Masato really wanted to cuddle with her, but he restrained himself.

He wasn't in a rush because he had already planned how to approach her. One month was more than enough time for him to do whatever he wanted.

Masato then led Irisviel into the kitchen and used <<Construction Creation>> to create new ingredients before beginning his first-ever food tutorial.

His movements were very smooth while preparing food because the MAX skill guided him to do everything to perfection.

His hands moved deftly, every spice was just right, and the temperature was just right—it was difficult to comprehend how this was possible. Masato's hand appeared to be filled with magic.

Irisviel was mesmerized by it. It looked fascinating to her, seeing him do everything to perfection—at least, that's what she thought.

Masato, for an amateur, looked like a ballet dancer, giving near-perfect performances to the audience.

It didn't take long for a perfect English breakfast to be prepared. Masato made English breakfast for Irisviel, Illya, and Artoria because they were accustomed to it.

He prepared a typical Japanese breakfast for Sakura and his sword spirit. He, on the other hand, could eat literally anything and not complain.

They awoke as he finished everyone's breakfast.

Bam* The kitchen door slammed open, and Artoria emerged from it with messy hair and sleeping clothes.

She looked at Masato and exclaimed, "Masato! Who are these... ladies?!" She motioned to his sword spirits, who wobbled their way to the dining table.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce you to them," he said. "They are my sword spirits, the one I just had when fighting with you and Lancer," Masato explained.

"Est is the silver-haired one, Restia is the black one, and Judecca is the other bust silver one."

"That was not my question! W-why were they in your bed?" Artoria asked, her face flushed. "Don't tell me you're putting your hands on children? Est was completely naked!"

"How can you do something so, so pervert as a King?"

'Uhhh… Est has a habit of sleeping naked with only knee socks on...' Masato recalled.

"Onii-chan!" Sakura ran in from the side and hurriedly hugged Masato's leg.

Masato strokes her hair and says, "Good morning, Sakura. Did you get a good night's sleep?"

"Um. Onii-san has a pleasant odor... It makes me feel at ease." She responded with a red face, causing Artoria to look at Masato—no, it was a direct glare.

"...she had previously led a very difficult life..." Masato stated, but his persuasion appears to be lacking.

Masato wouldn't mind admitting to a grown-up girl that he had ulterior motives. After all, he was never a beta type.

But he can't say that about a girl who isn't even ten... Maybe if she was 12 or 13...

He was 16 in this life, so it wasn't strange for him to date someone 13 years old—haters can say what they want, but he's completely disregarding his mental age in this matter.

"It appears that I will have to reconsider my feelings toward you, my lord," Artoria spoke as she stood with her hands crossed beneath her chest.

'I guess I'll have to call in my secret weapon, Artoria Pendragon tamer!!!!' Masato walked towards her, shouting like a certain blue robot inside, and placed his hands over her shoulder, using <<Increase Sensitivity>>, making her body relax with a blush.

"Artoria, calm down. If you keep talking here, your breakfast will become cold. Would you want your King to have a cold breakfast?"

"No... you're right." She nodded before turning around and returning to her seat at the dining table.

Masato looked at his hands and said, 'Ultimate Powwaa'

"We should place the breakfast now or it will really get cold," he said back to Irisviel and Sakura.

Irisviel nodded and smiled gently. She had no idea she'd be able to enjoy her day like this. She didn't feel burdened by her role as a grail vessel, nor did she fear dying the next day.

It caused her to unconsciously relax and look more relatedly at Masato.

Masato couldn't possibly be unaware of what she was thinking. As a result, the timing was ideal. He used <<Erotic Pierrot>>, causing Irisviel to blush unexpectedly.

She hurriedly averted her gaze, screaming internally at herself for getting hot just by looking at him. This was not a normal reaction. Was she already so taken with him that she got hot just looking at him?

She had no idea. After all, it was her first time experiencing something like this.

"Is everything okay? Your face appears to be quite red." Masato inquired, placing his hand on her brow and a worried expression on his face.

"Y-yes! I am fine!" Irisviel replied quickly before putting some space between them. She grabbed the plates and dashed out of the kitchen. She didn't want to stay any longer for fear of doing something else.

Masato smirked as he observed her reaction and the screen. It was always enjoyable to use this skill, he reasoned.

"Onii-chan… Your face looks dangerous."

"Ahem*" He rubbed Sakura's head and said, "Let's go or breakfast will get cold."

"Um." She nodded and took his hand in hers as she followed him out.

Masato asked his last sword spirit internally as he walked towards the table.

'Why don't you join us for dinner, Balor?'

'I have no intention of lowering myself to their level. They're all going to die in the end.'

'And I'm not going to allow that to happen. Balor, face reality already. Either you kill me—which you can't because you're connected to my soul, so my safety comes first—or you happily join my Harem. Those are the only options you have, and I know you would not kill them even if you hated them, knowing that I would kill you this time for sure.'

'...' As he approached his table, there was a brief pause before golden particles gathered beside him and Balor appeared.

Everyone was taken aback when Masato noticed her and explained, "She is also one of my sword spirits. Don't be angry with her because her behavior is similar to that of Gilgamesh."

"Humph!" Balor humped away as she heard him.

Artoria looked at her with interest, wondering if she was as annoying as Gilgamesh, while others showed no reaction.

"Come, Balor-san, take a seat. I'll also serve you breakfast." Irisviel smiled and said, a slight blush still present on her face.

Balor narrowed her eyes as she looked at her. "Don't get the wrong impression, human. I'm lowering myself to eat with you guys just because he asked. Otherwise, you humans are unworthy of my presence."

"Well, she's certainly as irritating as King of Heroes," Artoria muttered under her breath, but it was audible to all supernatural beings.

"Did you say anything, little girl?" Balor asked her a question. Because of her golden hair, she was able to play the role of Gilgamesh. Only her golden eyes convinced others that she wasn't him.

"Don't call me that way." With a frown, Artoria stated. She despised being referred to as a "little girl" by others.

"What else are you going to do? Do you want to bite me? I've declared you a little girl."

Artoria was about to fight her when she heard Restia say, "Don't mind her, she's just a flat bitch who is jealous of you having a more sexy body than her."

"…" The table was deafeningly quiet, with only Masato eating his breakfast and watching the show in front of him.

"Did you say anything whore? This goddess didn't hear you very well." Balor's brow furrowed. Only Restia had the audacity to speak to her in that manner.

"No. It's only that you're deaf. You wouldn't have come out like this if you weren't a self-proclaimed flat goddess."

Balor, to be honest, was not flat and had a medium-sized breast. When compared to Artoria, however, she might as well admit defeat.

While Balor and Restia were on the verge of fighting, Masato pondered whether he should enter the dungeon or simply enjoy his normal days like this for a week or two.

It was enough time for him to thoroughly defeat both his knight and Irisviel. How much time did he spend with Akane and Mamako, for example? Though their emotions played a role, the fact that he had hundreds of methods to achieve the same result as he did with them did not change.

He was simply waiting for the right opportunity.

"However, I must say that my food has improved significantly. I'm afraid I'll become addicted to my own food." He said this while the fight was still going on beside him, with Irisviel attempting to calm it down.

That was the start of their first day on the island.

Of course, I was joking... there's no way I'd have the stamina to write all thirty days like someone who can write 360 days of staying in an inner world—at least he was planning.

Well, after much deliberation, I've finally decided to create my own P a t r e o n for obvious reasons.

Hmmm... this is awkward... but, well, if anyone wants to, you can donate money there. There would be no extra or advanced chapters because it feels wrong to me, at least, to take money for something I don't own.

This P a t r e o n is solely for those who wish to assist me by donating money.
