3. Voidless Plain
Von was about to enter the Voidless Plain when he thought of something, he should probably cover his face up in case he was seen by another player or the wrong NPC.
"Spawn Item; Von's Cloak!" He shouted out and blue pixels appeared and disappeared, in its place a black cloak appeared that had an attached bandana on the front, the cloak itself was dark black with linings of purple and on the back was a picture of a spider.
"This should keep myself unidentifiable for now.. any GMs would assume that it was just from an item drop or a customized item.."
Von then entered the Voidless Plain, the landscape changed drastically. There were large ravines all around, the ground was pitch black with the only source of light being lava, there was a permanent blue fog in the air so one had to be cautious not to fall into the ravines for at the bottom were black holes.
"Let's see.. my current goal here is to create a fortress, this will be the location of my base of operations. If a player dies they may lose their data, meaning I am the ultimate boss in the game."
Von thought very carefully, he had to design his base well or the player would be disappointed.
"System; Editor!"
Von summoned the editor and began to create his base, he made a large black mountain with a opening in the middle, he put the start of the base there. For now the base was just a very large castle that had the same color palette of the area, there were 4 spiral stair cased towers on each side of the castle that overlooked them. There was a waterfall of lava placed in the front left and right sides that flowed into the void, this just screamed elegant to Von.
"Hmm. Looks good for now, I have to go recruit some NPCs to keep watch of the castle, I designed the NPCs to fear certain players and automatically create certain quests in response, to cause this I need to make sure my debut as a villain is done correctly.. I need a massacre." Von then walked into his castle and spawned a throne, fit for himself.
"For now.. I'll activate a new world quest." Von put his face on his hand and said the words; "System create new world quest: 'World Boss!' Description : 'The World Boss Vlad has been created! Find his lair once you are strong enough and you will gain unimaginable rewards!' Rewards: 'X Tier Equipment, Royalty Status, Gold'
As this quest was created all players currently logged on got the message and witnessed a strange occurrence. A large beam of blue light appeared in all main towns of the world and the NPCs began to freak out just from the quest info. The players began to farm and ready themselves..
