Mantis Killers

Everyone was momentarily stunned when they saw the sheer speed of the Killer Mantis in front of them. Dave had been killed in less than an instant after just shooting at it. It didn't even seem to be angry yet but it still killed him so ruthlessly. 

"I don't know if we can take this thing down!" Simon began to say as he started backing away from the place and back down the hallway the group had come from.

"We got this! We just need to distract it so Sky can do her thing!" Kaden urged to Simon as he and Sarah got ready to hold the beast back so the fastest and the most stealthy one could try and get some damage in.

Simon seemed to calm down as Kaden talked to him and he carefully picked up his bow and also got ready to start fighting. Kaden smiled and nodded at his bravery and ran towards the Killer Mantis that was still standing over Dave's body. Once Kaden got within a certain distance the mantis sensed him and disappeared from their sight.
