Surprising Discovery
Henry had thought it was strange that he threw a rock into a forest, not knowing what would happen. All he wanted to do was see if the lights below reacted to it, not thinking of the repercussions.
He scratched his dark hair and smiled nervously.
"All I did was throw a rock down there," he said.
The commander's eyebrows raised as he silently judged the other knight.
"Don't blame me when you take one of those things out of here with you," Callum warned. "It won't be my problem to deal with."
Henry couldn't tell if the commander was teasing him or not. All he could do was take it with a grain of salt and go to sleep. The long day had exhausted him. He hoped there was a long time until sunrise because it would undoubtedly shine into the cave and ruin his plans to get a good sleep.
