The end of summer was the most beautiful in Henry's eyes. The days were the perfect length and the autumn rain hadn't reached them quite yet. The ocean was at its most blue and all he saw when he looked out were the princess's eyes.
The days felt slow and lazy and, despite being told to take a break, Henry found himself unable to sit still. In a few short hours, he would be in the palace again where he would present the king with evidence of his success in Polona.
However, that didn't necessarily mean that the king was bound to turn over a noble title to him immediately. As usual, he imagined the king would do everything in a secretive manner with nobles he trusted a little bit more.
Not only that, but Henry would also finally see the princess he had been yearning for. Months passed by too slowly while his heart remained in Hydrogia. It felt like it was finally being returned to him by her hands. He wondered if it would help him feel whole again.
