Going to the commander's library had occurred to Irene before. Reading the same books over and over was getting boring and she didn't know how much more of it she could handle without going entirely stir crazy.
However, it was probably a smarter decision than being somewhere alone with Henry. She would act too familiar with him and fall deeper into the grasp that he unknowingly had on her.
Irene's green eyes were fixed on her commander and a surprised expression was plastered onto her face. She didn't know how to answer.
The red-haired knight simply wanted to eat and escape. She realized that she shouldn't have sat next to Henry but he would have noticed if she sat in an unusual place.
Unfortunately, her heart was thrilled at the thought of going anywhere with Henry. At the same time, it hurt that he was unaware of the way he treated people to fall for him so easily.
