I Want To Be A Romance Novel's Love Interest

*A slow-burn fantasy romance. The weak to strong tale of a peasant on the path of finding the love he deserves. Most romance novels focus on the woman's perspective, but what about the heroes of these stories?* NOT HAREM Synopsis: Being the son of a romance author has put unrealistic ideas in Henry's head. Despite his bad luck of being born a peasant, he can't help daydreaming whenever he sees a knight in shining armor riding away with a beautiful lady. Someone like him isn't supposed to be anything but a stable hand - working hard until his last breath just like his father. So why does he feel so compelled to seek out a life much greater than he could ever hope for? He wonders what the view will look like from the top, but he won't know until he gets there!

Dancing

The liveliness in the ballroom couldn't be ignored.

While most headed to the floor to show off their expensive clothing, many of the knights remained in the banquet area, sipping on their drinks and enjoying the people dancing from afar. Though they weren't on the dance floor, many still tapped their feet or swayed to the upbeat music.

A few of the knights were whisked away by a lady asking them to dance while others joined the carole dancing seeing circles of people start forming as they got into their traditional dances and joined in on the fun.

He was surprised to see Commander Lothian wasn't impervious to the requests of ladies and a tall, thin brunette wearing a light purple gown asked him to join her in the ballroom and he didn't say no.

However, Henry stayed put.

He was comfortable observing from afar, occasionally taking a sip of fruity wine to occupy himself. He was satisfied that way.
