Chapter 8 Cerulean City ‘The Floral Lagoon City’.

Cerulean City is the No 1 tourist attraction in Kanto, it has a beautiful river and a lot kind of flower grow here. Another famous attraction is the Nugget Bridge a beautiful bridge that stretches across a river. Across the bridge there is also a hill where you can see the sea from here and a lighthouse is built here, this is also a tourist destination. There are many high class villas build here where famous people live for example the genius scientist Bill that invent the Pokemon Transfer System.

When I arrive at Cerulean City, as usual I restock my ration at the Pokemart. Then I headed to the Poke Centre. Cerulean City Poke Centre is also among the Grandest one since it located in tourism city. As usual I rent a locker to put in my stuff. Then I have my late lunch here, the specialties of Cerulean City are freshwater fish, there are many freshwater fish breeding farm around here, the citizen here also prefer to raise water pokemon thank to the Cerulean Gym influence.

There are a lot of tourist here to the point that there is no free seat at the restaurant, so I need to share a table with other people. The one I share the table with is a girl a little older than me. We talk a little while waiting for our food.

"Hi my name is Aria are you a trainer?"

"Since you here are you also joining the Nugget Bridge Tournament"

"Since it your first time here do you want me to tell you this city specialty, even though this is my first time participating but I have watch the tournament for the last two years. So I'm quite familiar with this city."

"Please, I would be glad if you could, I heard that there are many interesting place at this city."

"Sure it's my pleasure, the No 1 attraction of this city is of course the Cerulean Gym. In this gym there are all the function of other gym but there is also additional function. It's the Cerulean water show. The gym disciple will put up the show using their pokemon in gym."

"I think I have heard about it from TV before, I heard that the Gym disciple will outstanding talent will also be send to Hoen region to join the Pokemon Contest there is it true."

"It's true, the performance it the show is also done very similar with the Pokemon contest of the Hoen Region."

"The other specialty of this city is the Cerulean River, there are a lot of activity that can be done here like fishing and boating, you can also rent the water pokemon that can drag you along the river."

"Other than that there is also a lighthouse on the hill across the Nugget Bridge, the view there is amazing."

Then our food arrives, we talk about many other things while we eat and I heard about many important things. After that we left and split up.

I walk around the city I also pick up item that appear in my GBA device. Based on the guide there are Gym Badge Man, Berry Powder Man, Bike Shop and Burglarized house as an important place here but the real world is different. There is no additional function for Gym Badge other than looking cool and as a pass to Indigo League. So there is no need for the Badge man, but I pick up rare candy at that location. The Burglarized house also did not exist but at that house location, if you pass through the back of the house you can find an avatar of a man that did not exist in real world and he will give you TM 28 Dig.

There are a big Herbal Shop at the place that Berry Powder Man appear. Herbal shop sell pokemon food that can increase pokemon stat. The main ingredient for this food is actually Berry so they are a very important location in this world. The price is very expensive so I don't buy anything but the moment I enter my avatar enter the Berry Man House there is a man avatar who concocts a variety of medicines from Berry Powder and will exchange Berry Powder for herbal medicine and vitamins. When I first talk to him, he gives the me the Powder Jar, and will ask the me to make some Berry Powder from the new machine that crushes Berries.

The bike shop location there is also a bike shop but it just a small one. But my avatar can talk to the shop keeper and see a very expensive bike, maybe it made from gold with such a price. The bike shop is more targeted for tourist since the main business is renting bike.

Then I headed to the Nugget Bridge north of the city. A walk through the bridge and saw a few trainers battling here. Its forbidden to battle in the city other than some special place provided for battle, but the bridge is a good place for a pokemon battle since it wide and water pokemon can fight from the river. I also battle some trainer that appear in my GBA device. If a trainer avatar appears in the device and there really is someone there it means that the trainer is at a suitable level to me and he will agree for battle. If I ignore him, I don't need to battle but I fight everyone that I can to get in game currency. After crossing the bridge there are an avatar that did not appear in real world, after my avatar talk to him he gave me Nugget. This thing can only be use to sell in the shop but since my gaming era I like to keep it in storage and rarely sold it.

The I pick up a few random thing and battle a few trainers until I arrive at the lighthouse. The location of the light house is actually the location of bill house in the game but after I enter the lighthouse there are no one in the GBA device so I guess I can't get the S.S. Anne Ticket here. The lighthouse is a tourist spot here so I stay here and watch the setting sun and the sea. There is restaurant here so I had my dinner watching the sea with the light from the lighthouse. I go back to the PokeCentre, there are a lot of people here they might be participating in tomorrow tournament or just spectating it like me. I let all my pokemon inside the pokeball except Jigglypuff, we sleep together inside the sleeping bag with Jigglypuff lullaby.
