Kaiden was not content with the answer that his father had given him yesterday.

"She only appeared once and I never saw her again. I assume it's a fragment of her soul that she attached to me. Perhaps that's also the same thing for you"

When he inquired about it more, the king only responded with a shrug. The both of them were truly in the dark regarding the situation. But at least he got an important piece of information out of his father. It was that the spell included some sort of fragment of his late mother. Kaiden glanced at Gideon who had also been deep in thought.

'What am I even doing…'

He realized that he had been thinking about so many things when Gideon was right in front of him, probably bored out of his mind.

"Sorry, did I bore you?"
