Like The Cherry Blossoms

I was quiet the whole ride back. I didn't dare say anything nor did dare to budge a muscle to get out of his strong hold.

It was primarily because I was too bothered by the little tension building around us but it was a good thing since I have an excuse to shield and protect myself from the coldness the strong evening wind was giving us.

And as we reached the shore, Lucas, without a word, attended to me and helped me remove every gear until I successfully changed back into my normal clothes.

"Are you mad?" he asked as he watched me sit on the vanity table inside our room.

I paused, for I do not know what to respond. Of course, I am mad, but if I told him that, we might end up arguing again. I didn't want that to happen anymore and it was hella tiring me out. Plus, I have come to realize that fighting with him more will only mean putting our relationship down.
