Left Too Daunted

I wake up to the cold and familiar wind of our room. We have been staying here for quite a while now and I was already fond of it to memorize its aura even without opening my eyes to take a peek. It feels heavy, to be honest, so I let it closed for a while, until I didn't realized that I drifted to sleep once again.

"She's going to be alright, don't worry. I'll just have some few questions once she wakes up or at least whenever she's already capable or answering," a woman's voice said in barely spoken English. She sounded like she was struggling but it was enough for me to understand what she means.

I grunted as I tried to lift my eyelids. I was still in the room, to my comfort, and what I saw first was the familiar white walls and Lucas' familiar scent all over the place.

I tried to look around, with my body faced up and a troubled Lucas who was sitting on a stool near me came into my view. The moment I moved, Lucas immediately looked and attended to me.
