"Chance, what's the meaning of this?" Lucas' mom asked her nephew.

"I'm sorry, auntie. I'll take care of this," the guy retorted, before excusing himself along with Calvin and Allanis.

My mom, on the other hand, brushed my hair with her fingers. "Is it true, hija? You're pregnant?"

I took a deep breathe, thinking I have no choice but to admit it. I nod as my answer. I didn't had the guts to wait and watch their reaction but when I heard my mom sniffed, I finally looked up to them.

"Oh my! I'm gonna be a grandmommy!"she hugged me really tight.

I only smiled. Aunt Valeria was just staring at me, having the same expression as mine. "Is it my son's, hija?" she asked, with a spark of hope in her eyes, making me easily nod without any nervousness or fright.
