Season 6 Chapter 13

Emilia: YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!!! (She screams at the top of her voice while struggling to free herself from the grip of the security guards) I will ruin all of you!! (Her eyes were red with anger and hatred)

The match was around the corner when we finally gathered enough evidences and placed it in front of Director and Vice-director. We explained everything to both of them, there were picture of Peter carrying the same notebook that Emilia snatched from my hand, as it matched with my statement, after listening to everything and listening to few audio evidences, Emilia was summoned in the Director's office. Initially she kept denying the charges then got defensive and aggressive, as she tried to attack me, regardless of being in front of the authorities. At this point, she didn't even cared to maintain her image. She openly cursed and tried to hit us, finally the security was called, and she was dragged out of the school. That was the last time, we saw her. Authorities who are responsible for conducting the competition was involved, and a case was filed against Edelweiss Mädchenakademie school for using unfair means to win matches.

During the investigation, it was revealed that several higher authorities, including the Director of Edelweiss Mädchenakademie, were involved in the scam. Other schools were found to be benefiting from Peter and Emilia's actions. Peter was identified as the mastermind behind the scheme. As a result, all coaches who had sold their schools' secrets to Peter were dismissed, including Emilia. Peter lost his job and reputation, while the Director of Edelweiss Mädchenakademie was replaced and the school was banned from participating in competitions for the next five years. The football competition was temporarily suspended, and the teams that had previously lost matches were given a second chance to rejoin, as some schools were disqualified due to their involvement in the scandal.

Finally, Emilia's chapter closed from our life and a new phrase was about to begin. The authorities notified that the next match will be held in a week or two and before that, we needed to hire a new coach. I reassured everyone that I already have a person in my mind. Our team was still shocked to find that Emilia turned out to be more rotten than we could ever imagine, but none of that bothered me. I was busy making training charts for the team, it was much stricter than before and I made sure each one of them trained till their body bent with pain and I knew many of the teammates were unhappy with the packed up schedules and called me a "tyrant" behind my back. But I have watched my father train his boys team, with iron fist, and one thing that I learned from him was 'spare the rod and spoil the child', and that was the biggest reason why my father's coaching worked far better than my mother's. And I would never let our club face the same fate which happened with my last team because of my mother's softness.

I had hoped to meet with Miss Aoi to hand over my responsibilities after Emilia's departure, but it seemed she was avoiding me. Each time I tried to see her, she offered vague excuses, leaving me feeling drained. Coaching, which I once thought was enjoyable, now felt exhausting, and I realized we needed Miss Aoi's guidance more than ever. With no time to find a whole new replacement for Emilia, the pressure was mounting. There was visible stress on the team members' faces, though no one expressed their concerns openly. It was Friday afternoon, we sat under the setting sun after two hours practice session. Everyone looked tired while I was busy with making training charts for tomorrow.

Christina: (she stretched her tired body and tried to relax herself) Hey guys, I was thinking, now that our match has been postponed, why don't we do some fun activities?

Jules: (she nods in agreement) Yes, please. I am tired of studies and practice. I want something

Bella: (she sat on the soft grass while pressing ice bag against her swollen legs) What about story night?

Victoria: Huh? What's that? (She asks getting interested)

Bella: Tomorrow and day after tomorrow is holiday. We can gather at someone's house for night stay and each one of us will bring their favorite novels and we can exchange the books among ourselves and read out the stories. (She says excitedly while looking at our direction)

Irina: That's kinda…..(she thinks it through)

Hope: Interesting idea. (She replies with a wide smile)

Jules: Whaaaa? Books?....(she pouts like a kid)

Lotte: Books are boringgggg (she sulks)

Ratree: Wait, but what types of books? (She smirks)

Jules: Now that is an interesting question. (Her eyes sparkles with expectations)

Julie: (she blinks feeling confused) What type of books are both of you talking about?

Bella: (she frowns) Not those types of books, stop being pervert. (She pouts)

Choon Hee: I am in. (She grins) I love reading books.

Me: If you people have so much time and energy, why don't you invest it in your training. (I sighed while standing up) Even though, all of you have improved a lot, its better not to slack around. (Everyone frowned at my words but didn't dare to reply)

Maria: Anne, enough is enough. (She said standing in front of me) Everyone is tired of being overworked and deserves a break.

Victoria: I agree with Maria. (She said voicing her opinion) Anne, we are your friends, but recently you have been treating us like subordinates and its really disrespectful. Just day before yesterday, you used cane on Jules, just because she was getting slow during morning run.

Choon Hee: Our bodies are overworked and the training schedule is hectic. (She said in a tired tone)

Me: Tsk, I think I am going easy on you lot. (I said folding my arms and rolling my eyes) If it was my father, then…..(Maria raised her hand in the air cutting me short)

Maria: (She sighed heavily before speaking, her voice tinged with frustration) You aren't your father, and you don't need to blindly follow his methods. ( She paused, a crease forming on her brow as she continued) Also, we aren't your students, rather we are your friends and have equal status as you, and have no obligation to follow your harsh treatments. (Her tone softened slightly) Yet, we are enduring you, just because we care. So its your responsibility to understand our concerns and respect our needs. (She says while frowning)

Me: (Her words stabbed me like draggers, I couldn't believe my ears. Maria, who always supported me in every decision. Was now, standing against me and it hurts but wasn't enough to soften my determination. I hardened my jaw and looked away) Do, whatever you want. But don't come whining and blaming me, if you lose the match.

Christina: No one will blame you for anything. (She says sighing) Stop being so hard on yourself.

Choon Hee: Anne, we are all friends here. And we know how much you have done for this team. (She says with a smile)

Me: (I was taken aback by their words and bit my lower lip) Whatever. (I said) You are free from practice for next two days. (Their faces brighten up) Only on one condition. If you give your 100% from Monday onwards. (They all nodded in agreement)

Choon Hee: Done. (She grins)

Hope: So its decided then. This week, we would meet for our book club. (She said feeling excited)

Bella: Mhm! (She nods)

Jules: What type of books? (She smirks)

Bella: (frowns) Nothing vulgar.

Jules: Aw….man. (She pouts)

Ratree: Tsk. (Sulks)

Hope: Where should we meet? (She asks)

Bella: How about Victoria's house? (She says while looking at Victoria)

Victoria: (hesitates) My house?.....I guess ….my mom is out on a business trip. So its fine if you all visits. (She says with a slight blush and eyes filled with excitement)

Julie: (her eyes sparkles) I never had a night out before. It would be so much fun! (She grins)

Irina: Heh, never before? (She was awestruck)

Julie: Hope….I didn't have friends. (She smiles innocently)

Irina: Oh…..(she blinks)

Bella: So, its decided. Tomorrow evening, each one of us will bring our favorite novels and meet at Victoria's house. (Everyone nodded in agreement and started preparing for next day)

To be continued....
