Bigger Things To Come.

Why did she phone call him? To tell him that someone had already paid for the treatment of their mother's sickness, and she'd already been treated.

I was there when she was telling him all these...and according to what I heard from their conversation, he said he'd be coming back tomorrow to see the person that paid for it.

..He was so happy over the phone, and I was sure he was ready to thank me a million times.

Now, Jemima was so happy that I helped them out by paying for their mum's treatment, and she'd thanked me more than once.

She didn't know that a lot more was coming...I planned on rendering more help to them.

Throughout that day, Jemima couldn't go into the hospital room to see her mum 'cause she was still asleep. I wanted to see her as well, but couldn't 'cause she was asleep.

That day before I left the hospital, I paid the remaining $5,000 totaling it to $10,000. Though her mum hadn't woken up yet, I'd already paid the balance.

Well, I've paid the full amount, I wouldn't need to think about it anymore. All we needed to do was wait for Jemima's mum to wake up.

Jemima and I left the hospital together, then at some point, we went in different directions 'cause our homes weren't located at the same place.

A few hours had passed after I arrived at my hotel room, and I was sitting on the bed currently with some few thoughts running through my mind.

It was nighttime, and I'd already eaten dinner. I was so happy that I was able to render help to Jemima and her family.

You know, seeing those smiles on her face after I told her I was going to pay for her mum's hospital bill gave me joy as well...

I had already paid the full amount, all that remained was for her mum to wake up. Her older brother would be coming tomorrow according to what I heard from their phone conversation.

..I was fully ready to meet him, I wanted to see what he looked like.

Since his sister was pretty, then was he handsome? Yeah, I needed to confirm this. If I'm able to meet with her brother tomorrow, then I can now reveal to them that I wanted to help them out in other ways.

Since the system agreed to help them out, and I wanted to do so from my heart as well, I needed to help them out properly. I needed to make sure I'd cancel every single thing that was troubling them currently.

Now, coming to the quest aspect, once tomorrow reaches, I'd have 8 days remaining to accomplish it. I was already accomplishing it little by little.

I was already helping out a family...and once I'm done with them, it would remain one more family for me to help out before accomplishing the quest.

..What I needed to hope for was that I'd be able to help out another family easily.

I don't want a situation where I'd keep going from one poor family to the other, and none of them had valid reasons why they were in that situation.

That would only waste my time, and days would be counting. Before I know it, the time limit would have almost gone by completely...

I can't tell how things would go after I was done helping out Jemima and her family, but I just hoped things would go well. I can't afford to fail the quest.

One, I can't miss out on a good $600,000. Two, I don't want $10,000 to be deducted from my bank account for not accomplishing the quest.

Three, I'd already started spending money to help out the first family. If I fail the quest, both the money spent, the one that would be deducted from my bank account, and the one I would get as part of the rewards would be gone.

..I can't afford to let this happen, if it happens, it would cause a lot of heartache for me, this I was sure of.

'The quest must be accomplished, nothing must ruin that'. I thought to myself as I was still sitting on the bed.

For sure, I planned on heading toward the hospital where Jemima's mum was in tomorrow. I might go to Jemima's home first, so we'd go to the hospital together.

Or I might just go straight to the hospital. If I didn't meet her there, then I'd wait for her. But there was a very high possibility I'd meet her there.

This was her mum we were talking about here, she'd try to be at the hospital as early as possible tomorrow...

'Tomorrow will be filled with its own activities, I better go to sleep now so I can wake as early as possible tomorrow'. I thought to myself once again.

I changed into pajamas used for sleeping, then I laid on the bed. In minutes, I'd already dozed off straight to wonderland.

I was heading toward the hospital where Jemima's mum was in currently. Yes, I decided to go straight to that place, no need to go to Jemima's home.

I was in a cab right now as the cab man was driving me toward my destination. He drove and drove until we arrived in front of the hospital, then I came out of the cab, paid the cab man, and he didn't waste time to drive off.

I began walking toward the hospital until I entered it. Entering it and walking toward the room where Jemima's mum was in, I was hoping she'd have woken up by now.

..Even if she wouldn't be able to move her body, at least, she should have opened her eyes.

If she hadn't opened her eyes up till now, Jemima would be somehow scared, and that would be the same case for me as well.

Hope they operated on her properly? Hope there were no complications during the surgery? My $10,000 can't go to waste just like that? Yes, those would be the thoughts running through our minds.

I kept walking toward the room until I arrived at it. Now, there was a particular chair close to the room where Jemima and I were sitting in yesterday.

I couldn't find Jemima on the chair, and I thought to myself,

'Has she arrived or not?'.

I walked toward the door of the room and glanced at it. Now, there was a part of the door that was transparent. If you go close to the transparent part, you'd be able to see inside the room.

And that's exactly what I did, I walked toward the transparent part and glanced at it. I was seeing inside the room now, and I saw something. What did I see? Jemima had arrived, and she was inside the room with her mother.

..Just as I thought, she'd arrive here as early as possible.

According to the look of things, her mum had already woken up, and she was conversing with her. I was so glad, this was enough proof that the surgery went successfully.

All that remained was for her to begin walking again and return to her normal self...

A smile was on my face as I was opening the door to the room. And after opening it, I walked into the room, closed the door, then began walking toward Jemima and her mum.

The moment I reached them, Jemima glanced at me and uttered, "You're here".

"Yes, I'm here", After saying that, I glanced at Jemima's mum and inquired, "So, how are you feeling ma'am?".

"I'm feeling better now though I'm lying on this bed". She responded.

I nodded my head a little, it was evident that she was feeling better. She'd already put on weight though it was just yesterday the treatment took place. Though she was still lying on the bed, she was looking good to an extent now.

That Hypercalcemia illness had really been eating her up, it took a great toll on her, I can just imagine what she went through...

"Thank you so much for this, this means a lot, you don't know what you've done for me". The woman stated glancing at me.

A smile only appeared on my face as I bowed my head a little, then her voice resounded again,

"What is your name?".

"My name is Casper". I responded.

"Casper, thank you so much".

She was appreciating me just as much as her daughter appreciated me. It meant a lot to them, that's why they were this appreciative, and I was going to do more.

..I wasn't done yet, there were still bigger things to come.
