Dreams

Then I heard someone from a distance calling my name. It was only a dark view.

???: "Grel ..."

The voice was echoing toward me. It was so silent that I could hear it clearly.

Grel : "Who is this?"

My voice sounded normal compared to the voice calling me before.

???: "Grel ..."

The voice called me again. It echoed like before.

Grel : "Who are you?"

Then I heard some other voice. It was a deep voice but way deeper than a human could do.

??? "Hrhrhrhrhr..."

It was a rowling voice like a huge throat trying to talk.

Then I opened my eyes and woke up with a scared face. I was breathing very fast, then slowly calming myself. I look around me, I'm still in my bedroom with Leena and Arhi . They are both still sleeping, and the day is still bright in the afternoon.

So it was just a dream. *While I put my right hand to my head. What was just me dreaming about?

Fasmel : "Hmmmm..."

Fasmel seems to have woken up because I moved so suddenly.

Fasmel : "What happened?"

Her eyes are still barely open.

Grel : "I was dreaming about something."

Fasmel : "Hmmm... It's probably just a bad dream. I thought something was happening again."

She stretched her arm. I was thinking for a moment. Maybe she is right. I don't need to think about it too much.

Fasmel : "Eh... Where is Kiwi ?"

She looked right and left trying to look for Kiwi .

Grel : "She is with Dai right now. I told her to bring her for a moment."

Fasmel : "Eeeh..."

She stops looking and looking at me right now. Her eyes are still barely open.

Then someone knocks on the door. Then it opens up. It was Dai and Kiwi she carried with her hand.

Dai : "Excuse me, young prince. I found the other young prince looking for."

The time skipped when Dai , Fasmel , and I were walking toward the restroom Dai talking about. Dai was in front of us leading the way, and Kiwi also came with us. She was just playing and running around with her shadow, she tried to chase her shadow first. But then came back again like she was getting chased by the shadow this time.

While I was walking, I felt kind of familiar with this road and the destination we were going to.

Grel : "Dai , where did you find the restroom?"

Dai : "Young prince did not need to worry. I found a perfect restroom for the young prince."

I was curious and she answered like that. It seems a little bit off from her answer.

Fasmel : "Hooaamm... Why do you try to find another restroom though? That one is already a good thought."

Grel : "*Sigh. You can say that but I was the one person who couldn't sleep on the bed yesterday."

She realizes that she didn't see me sleeping yesterday.

Fasmel : "Ehehe... Ummm, I'm sorry about that."

Dai : "We arrived young prince."

Then we all looked at the gate. It was a Might kingdom mansion where Fasmel and his father lived.

It was huge with bright white color from the outside. There are two guards inside right after the gate. They both guard the gate.

Grel : "Uuuhhh... I was saying a restroom, not a giant mansion."

I looked up at the mansion, there must be a second floor inside since the mansion was also tall enough.

Fasmel : "Aaahh, why don't you just say it to me? This is my mansion, a Might Kingdom restroom."

Then the guards from inside the gate move the front of the gate and open up the gate for us.

Then Dai walked first to the left side and turned to the right, and she bowed. While Kiwi ran toward Fasmel from behind, then she jumped and hugged Fasmel 's leg. Fasmel looks at her and tries to pick her up, but she can't. Her body, arm, and legs grabbed her leg so tight.

Dai : "Please rest for a while young prince. I already asked the authorities for permission on the young prince's behalf."

*Sigh... I just want to get some rest with this. Well, I guess this is better for now.

Then I walk inside passing Dai and the guard.

Dai is still bowing to me.

While Fasmel walking her right leg is grabbed by Kiwi . She struggles to move, and Kiwi just laughs and has fun with it. At least she did not think too much again about what happened to her.

Then I entered the mansion. The outside was a bright white color, while the inside turned a little bit darker. Maybe it is because the light from the side of the mansion came from the pure sun going through the huge window. There is no light turned on inside. And in front of me, there's a huge weapon. It's a heavy weapon, probably this is Fasmel 's weapon that her father did not allow her to bring with her. Its color is white but shines like an iron polish. It was above the chair of the Might King chair, and it was placed like a hanger horizontally with both of some kind of huge nail from left to right holding it staying on the wall. Then there's the red crystal infused right after the handle. It's already infused and becomes one with the sword. The crystal size is big, its shape is sharp and long from above the handle into almost the middle size of the sword itself. The sun was shining toward the heavy sword making it bright and shiny to see from here.

Fasmel seems to know what I am looking for right now.

Fasmel : "It was the heavy sword my father put on there. Nobody had permission to touch it even his daughter."

She walks a bit toward my position. The room was empty and made her step sound loud.

Fasmel : "The only other person who can touch it is Mr. Doon himself, the smelter. He's the one who infused this weapon with the crystal my father found back then."

Kiwi was still outside with Dai . Dai picks her up and points at some bug outside. She pointed at some plants and Kiwi looked at it. Her tail wiggling.

Grel : "I see..."

The sword must be wielding much potential, but it just became a picture on the wall. If her father did not even allow her daughter to touch it, then how am I gonna persuade him later? *While looking at the sword with a worried expression.

Fasmel : "You don't need to worry about that. I can use any heavy sword I could find you know?"

She smiled at me. Then Dai carried Kiwi with her entering the mansion.

Dai : "Is there a problem young prince?"

I turn around and look at her.

Grel : "Nah... There is nothing."

Kiwi : "The smell coming from there!"

Kiwi suddenly yelled that word and pointed her finger toward the sword on the wall.

Grel : "Kiwi ... You know about the crystal?"

Kiwi : "Crystal? Is that the smell from that thing on the wall?"

Smell? Does a crystal have a smell on it?

Fasmel : "A smell? What kind of smell?"

Kiwi : "It smells tight. It was strong but not like garlic." While she keeps smelling from a distance.

Kiwi : "It's just strong and makes me tired of smelling it."

Is it maybe becoming stronger if Kiwi gets closer to it?

Grel : "Let's try to get closer, maybe Kiwi can smell more about it."

Then we walk toward the sword before the king chair position, since the sword is up on the wall, we see it while looking up and it tires me.

Kiwi : "The smell is so strong. I can be here. Please."

She covers up her nose. It seems she cannot handle the smell of it. Is it because she smells the power in it?

Then we take Kiwi back and make more distance with the sword.

Fasmel : "Wow, this is my first time hearing someone can smell the crystal, especially from Kiwi ."

Then I looked at Kiwi still getting carried away with Dai .

Grel : "Kiwi ... How can you smell it?"

Kiwi : "Is it normal to smell anything around?"

Smell anything around? Fasmel and I look at each other wondering the same thing.

Grel : "Everything? What do you mean, Kiwi ?"

Fasmel : "Ah, can you smell this Kiwi ?"

She put her hand in her pocket and grabbed something. It was her necklace, it was probably just an ordinary necklace. Then she over her hand toward Kiwi so she can reach up and smell it.

Then she smells it.

Kiwi : "Yea I can smell it. But I can only smell it from a close distance like a normal object I smelled around there before."

Fasmel : "So Kiwi can smell anything, but her nose will react only to something intense."

Grel : "You're right..."

Then I remembered where Kiwi mentioned how she got to this world.

Grel : "Maybe the world from Kiwi 's place becomes a target since they can smell the crystal.

I look back at the sword on the wall.

Grel : "It's probably because the demon tried to hide any track from humans like us and made us struggle to find clues."

Fasmel : "Hmmm... Maybe that's the right reason to happen. But why they did not..."

She stopped her word and checked at Kiwi . Dai notices it and understands it. She bows and walks outside again.

After they both leave.

Leena: "But why they did not kill Kiwi ?"

Grel : "Hmmm... There is only one reasonable logic behind this."

Grel : "The demon side just wants to catch one of the people from that world, and try to use it to track the other crystal."

Grel : "And they also don't know where the location of the crystal. That's made more reason why Kiwi has a mark on her leg before. Probably it can track where the target is escaping."

Fasmel : "Mark? She already entered this Kingdom... Is it gonna be dangerous?"

Grel : "I don't know. But maybe it's not, since the mark already lifted in one night."

Grel : "We should ask the priest who lifted the mark yesterday. But I don't know who is they."

Fasmel : "Then we should ask Mr. Kim about that, his the only one who knows who lift it."

I nodded to Fasmel agreeing with her argument.

Grel : "But let's just do it later, I need to look around here too."

Then Fasmel asked Dai to go inside now. They both get inside and we all walk from the front door to the other door on the right side, there'd a hallway. Fasmel said it connected where the restroom was for an honored guest.

The hallway is bright because the right side is open up with a park inside the mansion, it is connected with the field from the gate. Then we keep turning to the left side after a moment, the park is still on the right side, until the end of the front door in front of us.

Fasmel opens up the door for us and inside. There's just a stair to the second floor. And we go up from there. And there's another hallway, probably connected to the front of the mansion where we enter from the main gate. The left side of the second-floor hallways is also open. And we can see the park is below us right now. But we still can't see the outside of the mansion since there's a huge wall covering our view for security reasons.

Fasmel : "Here it is, the restroom."

There's a door on the right side near the stair before.

She opens up the room for us. It's quite huge for all of us. The bed is also huge and might be fit for all of us.

Grel : "Is it really okay Dai ?"

I'm still worried that Fasmel 's father suddenly asks who is in her mansion.

Dai : "Yes young prince. I already got the authorization from the King itself under your name."

Ahh... Sometimes having a maid is a good decision. I could just avoid talking to that man for now.
