The next day Griffin, Alex, and Kage were following David and Millie to the colosseum,as Griffin was annoyed with David and decided to confront him inside the colosseum. Griffin who was sitting on an archway saw David and asked "What? A little busy here."David was confused and replied"Yes, I can see that. Never mind."as David starts walking towards the door,so he could let Mille in as Griffin looking at his new baseball bat said"If I were you I would not open the door.Not when my girlfriend wants to breathe. But that's me."
"What were you going to do again? You gonna bring her down,have a nice romantic picnic?A nice little tea party? Is that what you think's gonna happen?"
David was annoyed at Griffin for speaking about Mille like that he said with anger"If you so much as look at her..."Griffin stood without even flinching and cut in"What are you gonna do? What are you gonna do? You gonna jump me away?"Suddenly with a whoosh, Griffin disappeared from David's view and appeared a few feet away from him as he asked"Did you was the only one?"
Griffin tossing his baseball bat away asked"You really have no idea, do you? You lead the life you lead,Do you think you could just go on a Roman holiday and they wouldn't notice after the stunts you pulled. You think you could just Jump all over the place Jump, jump, jump and nothing's gonna happen?"
Alex now jumped and appeared next to Griffin as David instantly recognized him as he said"I know you?"Alex nodded and said"You know when I warned you about the Paladins.I thought you would at least take the warning seriously, instead, you practically pulled a stupid stunt by putting someone in a vault."
David winced remembering that as Alex sensed people coming here as he said"Griffin they are coming ?"
Griffin nodded as he got ready for the fight as on the other side of the colosseum two paladins wearing greatcoats and carrying briefcases comes out of the shadows. Griffin smiled and asked, "Hello boys."
Alex chuckled seeing how nonchalant Griffin was, while David jumps and appears in the audience part of the colosseum. Griffin looked back seeing David did runner said"Looks like it's just us."Alex nodded and replied
Paladin#1 launches one end of an electrified wire at Alex who easily doges and jumps appearing on top of the archway as he smiled and shouted: "You missed."The Paladin#1 quickly changes the cartridge and once again shoot this time it splits into an electrified net, which Alex easily escapes by jumping out of its way and appearing behind him and snapping his neck killing him instantly.
While Griffin was playing with his paladin who tried to shoot him multiple times with an electric net, but Griffin was just too quick as easily jumps back and forth, disappearing and appearing all around the arena. Finally having had enough fun he appears behind the guy and beats him with a his baseball bat.
David was having a hard time as his try at escaping didn't work as he ran straight into another Paladin who caught him with electric net,but he was able to escape because of the timely interference from Six who grabbed the Paladin#3 and slammed him into the wall and then stabbed him in the heart with a Loric dagger killing him instantly.
As Alex appeared next a very shocked David and asked"You know,after all this you still think you could escape from them."
David was in denial as he believed staying out of the country dor awhile will atleast cause them to stop chasing him.But he couldn't deny the truth anymore.
But the peace didn't last long as another group appeared they were 5 Migadorians 2 of them were Vatborn with their pale skin and have gray, shark-like teeth and 3 trueborns been shown to wear their hair long, and sides to reveal their warrior markings.
Alex with a frown said"So they have arrived."Griffin was confused as he never seen these guys before as he asked"Who are these guys?"Griffin knew they were not human just from their looks,as glimpses the arsenal of future-tech
