"Chen." Hoo cried out, grabbing her arm, he glared at her, shook her arm off, and chased Wei.

Chen watched Wei play with Dylan his 2-year-old, she was painting a picture of him when but he kept moving so she tipped the paintbrush on the edge of his nose, then they started chasing each other as Chen watched he couldn't help but smile. For the first time, he imagined Wei as the mother of his children, and it warmed his heart. Running over, he picked up Dylan, who was still chasing Wei giggling. "You play with him too much, are you going to spoil our children like this?" he stated sternly but his eyes were laughing. Wei stopped when she heard this and immediately turned bright red. " I'm going for a drink." She replied, trying to flee, but Chen had already grabbed her hand. She tried to shake loose, but his grip was firm. "Where are you running off to? You don't want to have my children?" he released her hand, hugged Dylan, and pretended to cry "Dylan she doesn't want to have my children." Dylan looked at him, puzzled, then cheered up immediately "Don't worry, I'll have your children, uncle." Chen could not help laughing as Wei snatched Dylan from his hands covering his ears. "You, what nonsense are you teaching him." she spun around storming off towards the house with Dylan when she suddenly stopped, flashing the biggest she shouted "I shall have as many children you want." turning quickly she hurried off to the house leaving Chen standing stunned. Chen's heart broke as he watched Wei sobbing, he wanted to hug, to wipe her tears, and kiss, but he knew he would never get the chance to do that again. She was no longer his, he would only hurt her by holding on, he had to let her go.

"The children you promised you'll have with my sister." Her voice was low and raspy.

"Wei…." He began, but there was nothing he could say to ease her pain or excuse his betrayal.

"I'm sorry I hurt you, I love you and for the rest of my life, I love, only you. I never meant to betray, but I did, I promise I won't interfere with your life anymore." Wei stopped sobbing as she heard his words, "You promised me happiness Chen Sun, your promises mean nothing." She stood up wiping her eyes and faced him. "I will live a good life brother-in-law." she walks pass him "If I never meet another man like you, I will be happy." she continued walking not looking back, this was the last time she would think of Chen as the man she loved, her heart ached a little at this thought but she shook the feeling, from now and forever he would never be her Chen Sun again, he would Hoo's husband and the father of the child that was growing in her belly.
