Kate immediately started crying. It was 4 AM. She was trying real hard to control her emotions but she just couldn't control them any longer. She had seriously let Susie down. She was feeling guilty. Susie died in order to protect her. Didn't it mean that she was responsible for her death? This made her feel worse. She continued crying while hugging her pillow, and after some time finally dozed off to sleep. The next morning when she woke up and looked at her face, it was swollen. Her eyes were plump and red as well. She literally looked like a tomato, especially with a jade like skin like hers. She remembered the events she read in the diary last night and immediately became teary eyed. But this time she controlled herself and freshened up. It was 10 AM by the time she finished. She then went back to Susie's house. She knew that she couldn't hide Susie's death from her mom, so she had mentally prepared herself to face her in case she asked anything. But she would reveal everything only when Susie received justice.
At Susie's home she greeted her mom and exchanged greetings with her casually. She then went to Susie's room even though her mom was now doubting why Kate was coming to Susie's room everyday. But she didn't stop her. Anyways she (Susie's mom) had lost everything....she had nothing left.... barely any energy to live. Kate coming home would at least remind her of her daughter.
In Susie's room, Kate immediately found the photo frame Susie was talking about. It was a picture of Susie and her when they were in high school. This immediately tugged the strings in her heart. She controlled herself and took the picture with herself. She took Susie's mom's approval before taking the photo frame and then gave her goodbyes and left.
After she reached her new apartment , she immediately went to her room and opened the photo frame. A neatly written piece of paper came out along with the picture. She kept the letter below her pillow and called a person from her team.
"Yes Boss?"
After seeing her skills, they were so impressed by her that they had referring to Kate as their boss.
"Make a copy of this photograph. Make sure it's of the same quality and size. " She then took out the photo frame. Find a frame exactly like this one as well. Also, I don't want yours or anyone else's fingerprints on the photo or the frame. Got it?"
"Yes boss".
"You can leave"
The person just nodded and left. He always thought that his boss was very easy going, but today she had a very dark aura surrounding her, as if ... one wrong move and she wouldn't hesitate to kill him. While he was talking to her, he had chills down his spine. His back was also soaked in sweat, yet he maintained his expressions. He couldn't understand how a 17 year old, who was eight years younger than him, was able to scare him so badly.
