FLASHBACK - No affect ?

"Kate let's talk. We can't just sit here and be in a trauma"

"Hmmm..."

"Kate I understand this is a very big thing and Susie was your best friend but we need to talk about it orelse it'll affect our lives"

As soon as she heard Susie's name she started crying. Ashton hugged her. He knew that she had been holding for so long, so he let her cry.

"Let it go Kate. We need to think of something orelse I'll be in the jail even though I did nothing wrong. Do you want that?"

As soon she heard this she stopped crying and looked at Ashton.

"Now then, we never knew Susie would do something like this, but it isn't our fault and you know that. Kate you just have to say that you were there the whole time and Susie was forcing herself on me"

"What!?" Finally after so long Kate spoke something, or you can shouted. She couldn't understand what Ashton said. Why would he say something like that? Susie was now dead so why was he lying about what she did? Unless something actually happened that made her take such a step? Well that will be for later on.

"Listen to me babe. If you say that you slept with me and I told her that and then she reacted it will tarnish your reputation. Even your mother might get to know. So you just have to say that you were there with me the entire time and she was forcing herself on me when I said I loved you. And then she said all those things to you, and you rejected so she ran away crying. That's all you have to say. Trust me. I didn't do anything wrong. I am telling you to lie because it'll tarnish your reputation babe. Trust me okay? Okay?"

Kate was a bit confused, yet she nodded her head.

"I love you babe. Now you know what to say incase the police come looking for us. Hopefully they won't but since we are one of her closest friends they will be. Stay calm and say what I said okay?"

Kate nodded her head again. Then Ashton gave her a forehead kiss and held her hand and went back to their car. Inside the car he started kissing her and his hand started moving on her body. Kate resisted but she couldn't overpower Ashton so she immediately voiced her thoughts.

"Ashton. Stop. I don't want to do it."

Ashton looked at her for a while and then moved back to his side and started the car. Like before, no one said anything on the car ride but this time Kate was not sure whether it was because of Susie's death or because she had stopped Ashton. But in her opinion she was correct. It hadn't been even 24 hours since her best friend died yet Ashton was trying to be physical. Did Susie's death not affect him even a bit?
