Nine

Two weeks later.

Me and Draco tried so hard to shift back to hogwarts we tried for about another two weeks and we finally did it. Everyone was wondering where we had gone because time didn't pause sense draco was gone too. Anyways me and Draco walked in the great hall the same day we arrived. "elena draco you guys are back" I heard Oliver wood yell. The whole great hall started clapping but everyone looked rather...sad. "Why do you guys look so sad?" I asked Oliver 'Dumbledore is gone..." he started tearing up. Draco being gone didn't stop the fact that Snape killed Dumbledore. I took a deep breath in and out. "Gone? H-how" I stuttered. "He was killed" Oliver said. "W-what?" I replied. "Also Harry,Hermione, and Ron are gone too" I started crying they weren't supposed to die. "Please- you don't mean there....there...dead?" I bursted into tears. "I'm so sorry Elena'' Oliver said.

I bursted out of the great hall running into the bathroom with Draco calling me from behind. I locked myself in a stall. "No no no this isn't supposed to happen I scripted that they don't die" I mumbled. "Elena" I heard a voice say. "Just go away" I said while having trouble breathing from crying so hard. I can't believe it.

"Elena please come out" I heard them say again. I opened the stall door and saw Draco standing there. I ran over to him and pulled him into a hug trying my best not to let go. I was crying so hard. The hardest I've ever cried in my life. I heard Draco start crying a little too. I pulled away from the hug and ran out into the hallway. I felt bad for doing it but like....my best friends just died.

I turned a corner and bumped into a tall brown haired figure. It was Oliver. He pulled me into a hug once he realized it was me. "I'm so sorry Elena I know this is hard. They were great friends. I know I'm so sorry" he mumbled into my neck. I started crying even harder and Oliver started hugging even tighter. I heard footsteps coming from behind and I automatically knew it was Draco. I had his footsteps memorized from the amount he's snuck up on me.

"Can I see her for a second?" He asked Oliver. Oliver looked down at me and I looked up at him and nodded. "Yeah of course" he said to Draco. I let go of Oliver and he let go of me. I turned around and walked to Draco. He held his arm out. I grabbed it and apparated us to the astronomy tower.

He let go of my arm and walked over to the railing. "I'm so sorry" he sighed, "sorry for what?" I asked. "For Harry,and Ron,and Hermione" I blushed he said there First names instead of there last names and "mud blood" I took a deep breath in and sighed it out "it's fine, I guess I'm that bad of a friend I can't even keep mine alive." I started sobbing again. Draco looked hurt,he held his arms out signalling me to hug him. I walked over to him and crashed into his arms. We both fell to the floor sobbing. He was crying too again, this was the safest I've ever felt in my life. I actually felt loved.

I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and I immediately let go of draco. "Well we'll well who do we have here" it was BellaTrix. "Oh Draco what are yOu doing with this filthy git?" She taunted. I wanted to punch her and wait to kill her. "What do you want" Draco yelled "oh calm down honey you don't talk to me like that" she replied back in a strong tone of voice. "you don't tell me what to do" At this point Draco was about ready to burst.

BellaTrix raised her wand.

"AVADA KA-"

"EXPELLIARMUS" Her wand flew out of her hand and a dark tall shadowy figure walked up the stairs. "Now now Bella don't kill them" the figure said. "But he's with a dumb girl" Bella argued back. "SHES NOT DUMB" Draco yelled. I looked at him, we were both still crying. The dark figure arose from the shadows "now now draco calm down" it was Lucius. I grabbed Draco's hand as tight as I could trying so hard not to burst into tears again. I was scared of Lucius but at the same time I wasn't.

He looked at Bella and raised his wand pointing it at me, I could feel my heart banging outside of my chest and I could hear it in my ears. Draco tried to let go of my hand but I didn't let him. Lucius looked at Bella and nodded and she started laughing....loudly. I gripped Draco's hand tighter and all of a sudden Lucius yelled a spell, I didn't know what spell it was because I was focused on apparating me and Draco out of there. We were at the burrow.

"Ms.Weasley, Mr. Weasley" I yelled when I ran inside, I heard a lot of stomping coming from the stairs and it kept getting closer and closer. Then I seen a head pop up from behind a wall. It was....Ron. I bursted into tears and ran right into his arms without a care in the world. "Oh my god Ron I thought you were dead" I said while trying to catch my breath. "What do you mean? We thought YOU were dead" Ron answered. What the fuck did he mean he thought I was dead? "What the hell do you mean? I got told by everyone in the great hall you,Hermione,Harry and Dumbledore were dead? Draco was even crying!" I yelled, I let go of Ron and sat down on the couch, Draco sat down beside and I let out a long and big sigh. "What happened?" Ron asked. "We were at the astronomy tower talking and BellaTrix and Lucius came out of nowhere and tried to kill us or me and I apparated us here.

"Oh" he replied. I heard a lot of stumbling coming from the stairs again. "Elena!." Harry came running and I jumped off the couch and ran into Harry's arms. Once again I was crying. "Elena I'm so glad you're okay" "i'm so glad you're okay i got told you were dead" "Well I was for a minute" I let go of him "what?" "What do you mean you were for a minute" I asked him "long story" he replied, "sum it up then pottah" Draco interrupted. Harry took a long deep sigh and he told us everything that happened. About how he, Hermione and Ron went out looking for horcruxes because he knew how to kill voldemort. How Ron had ditched him and Hermione, how Harry had almost drowned when getting the sword of gryffindor from a lake. When him and Hermione danced in a tent waiting for Ron to come back.

It was so sad and it wasn't as sad in the movies, but it's different when Harry is saying it to me in person. I really hope I never have to go back to my reality.

"Wow I'm sorry you went through all that" I said "eh it's fine" Harry replied. Draco grabbed my hand and said "we have to get out of here before my dad comes and finds us." "Good idea" I said "woah woah woah you're not going alone" Hermione interrupted "hermione" I ran to her and gave her a hug. "Haha hey Elena...Draco" "hi" "oh give it up you too" Ron said. "We're coming with you" Hermione said. I nodded and we all walked outside of the burrow to see George and Fred flying back. Only they were both on one broom...and...and....Fred was laying down in George's arms. Oh no.

George reached the ground and he was crying and was laying over top of Fred. Fuck fuck fuck fuck! We all ran over to them and Ron collapsed down and started crying and yelling. I fell down beside him and grabbed onto his arm saying it's okay. I then started crying as Harry and Hermione sat down across from us beside George.

"G-g-George w-w-what happened!?" Ron yelled. "We were flying back here from hogwarts and there were death eaters everywhere and shooting spells at us coming from left and right. One shoot Fred and I had to zoom down as fast as I could to catch him. But the spell they used was the killing spell..." he bursted into tears. This was the first time I've ever seen George cry.

"Fred please don't leave me no no no" Molly came literally out of nowhere and yelled. She dropped down beside Harry and rubbed his face. "I'm so sorry Fred please don't go" she whispered through a face full of tears.
