The Evolution

Somewhere in the Verdant Nexus forest where kairos train himself to get stronger.

As Kairos delved deeper into the ancient arts of chronomancy, the fabric of time and space around him began to thin. His relentless pursuit of mastery over time had led him to a secluded realm, a place where the past, present, and future seemed to converge. kairos is noticing something strange while he is training.

"Huh! what is this"

"I can feel something strange around me."

The Grimoire starts turning to red and it starts to turn into darker and darker 

"Hmmmm is this a dark magic?"

The grimoire starts speaking.

" (in a deep, resonant voice) Hey, you there."

"?!"

"Who... who said that?

"Oh, don't play dumb with me, kid. You know who I am."

"What?! you can speak?"

"Well im a magician servant from a time i was sealed to this book by another servant"

"Servant?"

"Oh! how do you not know that? well its a long story."

"Well i have summoned 1 before but im just shock"

"Well since i evolved i can now speak but this is not my true form i can be stronger and stronger if u feed me your mana and your level."

"In other words i will go back to lvl 1? or what?"

"sort of well if you want to get stronger you will need me right?"

The book demonically laugh and keeps laughing at kairos.

"What are the conditions? only my mana and lvl do my stats go downgrade also? or it will stay like my HP or Mana bar?."

"No i only need your mana and lvl to sustain my evolution. What i mean with evolution is this book your grimoire is an ancient. It is a lost magician weapon in my time most necromancer use it but it can also be use to seal or suck evil soul so they won't get away in the world."

"Then why are you stuck there? are you evil soul? also how did you get out?"

"Like i said im a servant they sealed me here so i can't do anything more. back to my evolution well you will get an increase stats and you can get a new weapon well lets just call it a changing weapon."

"Hmmm what is your current lvl this time? show me."

"well i been training for a while i think-."

Kairos open his quantum system and show it to the grimoire.

"Well your stats looks interesting. I will start absorbing it now."

As the grimoire absorbed Kairos's mana, the forest around them stirred. The trees swayed without wind, and the ground pulsed as if the heart of the Nexus itself beat beneath it. Kairos could feel his levels draining, his power ebbing away, but in its place, something new began to awaken.

Kairos feel the pain and start screaming.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

"Well well well your mana is tasty!."

The grimoire glowed brighter, and Kairos felt the surge of new power coursing through him. "Aetherial Resonance," he whispered, testing the name on his tongue.

"So this is the evolution you are talking about you can turn to a new weapon. Looks cool a katana huh."

"Hahahaha be surprise call me master and i will help you with your journey."

Suddenly, the Quantum System flickered, and the Voice from the Void boomed, "Warning! Anomaly detected. Brace for astral interference."

Kairos looked up just in time to see a rift tear open in the sky above. From it descended a being of pure energy, its form shifting and changing, a creature not of their world—a World Eater.

"Chronophage," the grimoire hissed, recognizing the entity.

The World Eater spoke, its voice a cacophony of the lives it had consumed. "I sense a new power in this realm. You, Weaver, have attracted my attention."

Kairos readied himself, his new skill at the forefront of his mind. "I may have lost my levels, but my resolve stands stronger than ever. I will protect this world and its timeline from you, Chronophage!"

"This is the perfect time to try my new power i will not lose even im lvl1."

"Let's go! grimoire"

The grimoire transform into katana. Kairos start smiling.

The forest echoed with the clash of power, and the Nexus itself seemed to rally behind Kairos. The World Eater was relentless, but Kairos was resolute. The battle raged on, neither side yielding, a testament to the Weaver's newfound strength and the World Eater's insatiable hunger.

"You are a formidable opponent i never imagine i will use my full power."

The world eater start chanting a spell. The void echo start giving kairos a warning "Warning the opponent is going to cast a Chrono Rift Sundering"

"In the heart of time's embrace, where worlds converge, I summon the might of ages past and future merged.

From the depths of the cosmic void, I call, To shatter the chains of fate and break the World Eater's thrall.

With threads of time woven tight, I weave, A web of destiny, from which you cannot leave.

By the power of the stars, by the strength of the sun, I banish thee, World Eater, your reign is undone."

"Ha!"

Kairos start to chant his skill 

"Kairos are you going to try to hit his spell?"

"As you can see grimoire i want to break my limit!"

"Big Bang Quantum Flare!"

The world eater was shock.

"Huh?! how come he can chant that fast?".

A blinding explosion of energy erupts from Kairos's outstretched hands, hurtling towards the World Eater with the force of a supernova. The air crackles with power as the two spells collide, their opposing forces locked in a titanic struggle for dominance.

The World Eater roars in defiance, its form bathed in the searing light of Kairos's attack. But the young magician stands firm, his eyes blazing with determination as he pours every ounce of his strength into the assault.

For a moment, the forest falls silent, the tension thick in the air as the two powers clash with unimaginable force. And then, with a deafening roar that shakes the very earth beneath their feet, the World Eater's spell falters, overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of Kairos's determination.

"H-how?!" the World Eater sputters in disbelief, its voice tinged with fear for the first time.

Kairos smiles grimly, his gaze never wavering from his foe. "Because," he says, his voice echoing with the echoes of a thousand timelines, "I refuse to be bound by fate. I am Kairos, the Time Weaver, and no obstacle is insurmountable in my path."

The world eater was defeated but something strange grimoire notice on his chest.

"Ey boy use me in katana from and thrust his chest."

"Huh what are you talking about?"

"Just do it!"

"OK"

And kairos thrust the world eater chest until the grimoire starts glowing.

"What is happening to you?"

The grimoire glows with an ethereal light as it makes contact with the creature's flesh, its mana shards pulsating with power. With a surge of energy, the shards begin to dissolve, their essence merging with the grimoire and Kairos himself.

And then, with a final burst of light, the absorption is complete. The World Eater's form crumbles to dust, its essence consumed by the grimoire's insatiable hunger for power.

"As you can see this is a mana shards from a monster i can absorb it to get stronger"

As the dust settles, Kairos stands victorious, his chest heaving with exertion. The grimoire, now imbued with the energy of the fallen foe, pulses with an otherworldly glow.

"so what is the difference absorbing my mana and lvl then?"

"The difference is i can get my evolution with organic than non organic what i mean is it should be from a person. While a beast or monster is different they are like my energy. also the benefits is i can provide you some mana if you lose means i can be a storage."

"Waaaaaaaaaa! you looks usefull huh!"

"Ey don't threat me like a tool you"

"Hahahahahahah!"

"We need to prepare for tournament of magic"

"It will start any time soon."
