Rising of the Weakest Mage

(Completed! In edit phase!) For a long time, elemental magic has been widely known, used, and practiced. Elemental magic is based upon the four core elements - Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Elemental magic is most prominent in England, where many mages gather to learn and research elemental magic. However, during the early 1500's, the Fire Outbreaks happened. Several various fire mages suddenly swept through and destroyed the smaller cities of England, killing many in their way and leaving no survivors. Due to this the Council of Magic, the governing figure of elemental magic, issued an act - The Anti-Fire Act. This effectively banned any and all use of fire magic within all of England. The Council of Magic was later changed to the Triumvirate in the 1540's, and from then on are set on killing off every last fire mage. Allen Fleming, a 15 year old air mage, wishes to attend the Magical Knights Academy. The academy is where many young, prominent mages attend to improve their use of magic, and eventually become a magical knight. Magical knights are the respected mages who protect the cities of England and keep its citizens safe. But in order to even attend the academy, Allen must first pass the entrance exam. However, Allen's magic is extremely weak and he relies mostly on his physical fighting ability. Air is considered the strongest element within England, and with his lack of air magic prowess, many mages hate and ignore him. But what many do not know, is that Allen possesses a second element - the fire element! Without knowing who his real parents are, and having to keep his fire magic a secret, Allen has to work hard if he ever wishes to become a magical knight and achieve his goals. However, with tensions rising within the Triumvirate, fire mages on the run, and other events happening behind the scenes, Allen must go from being the weakest to the strongest if he even hopes to stop what may be coming in the near future.

I found this story very interesting, it reminds me of how I lived going to the library looking for a book to read, but then I met the novels and webnovels, I fell madly in love. When did I leave the chapters? I also want to know the time zone, because I get lost with the time difference.

Writing quality you need to work on. Other than the second chapter, you need some other clinchers. Otherwise you're gonna lose a lot of attention just from the first chapters. Like me. I lost interest since it was kind of turning into a slice of life. You can turn it into a slice of life later on, when the readers get attached to your characters that they don't care what they're doing. For now, I don't see anything interesting. Good story though 👍

The story is about the average day to day life of a school boy, with magical powers. There was some sad undertones that involved death and longing. I did enjoy the magical aspect of the story. Overall the story was well written, the author showed the importance of family especially when facing tough situations. A great read, I decided to ask the author if I could read the story because of the conversation I heard on discord about the BL undertones, maybe its just me but the story did not feel that way, maybe down the road that could happen. My take on the story is the fantasy/magical aspect and the power of family was what captured my attention about the story.

I like the writing and the plot. I find the use of parallel worlds quite interesting, one with magic and one without. Also, I just can't stay away from bl. Alas, the pacing of the story is a bit too slow. Since the story is going to be a long one, I can understand why. But without more chapters, I feel things are progressing at too slow of a pace. In other words, MOAR.
