When I woke up, I was still in the training room, but the elf had already left. A bandage covered part of my head like a scar in the face. It must have been 8 a.m. and a few hunters were starting to arrive for the morning warm-up. As I tried to get up, a terrible pain took hold of my head and all over my body.

Staggering, I struggled to get home. Once that was done, I collapsed on the couch and fell asleep instantly. For a day and a night, my body recuperated on the couch. The next day at the same time, I was energetic again. I crave getting stronger and to level up I need to do dungeons. But E-rank rifts aren't enough for me anymore. So I decided to try a rank D fault but as it's the first time and I don't know the danger existing in one of them, I'm not going to venture there alone. I then open my computer and after half an hour of searching on the internet I finally find an announcement of a group of 5 who asks for a melee fighter of rank E minimum.

"perfect this is my chance" I thought.

After submitting my application, I waited only 10 minutes before, luckily, it was accepted. I clipped [Oil Spill] to my belt, equipped [Hermes Boots] and my other gear before heading for the city walls. Fortunately for me the appointment was only in 2h30 otherwise I would have arrived late. Finally at the meeting place, I was the third. A bearded man who looked like an elite army soldier was already there with a blonde girl who looked like a saint. When I approached them only the girl greeted me. I answered with a grunt before waiting my turn in silence. Straight as a post and with a closed face, like a real samurai. We had to wait 1 hour for the last two guys. They arrived together with rich equipment, I see daddy's boys. I turn around and see the boss, by his face I thought he was going to gut them. So we started our walk in the wild lands and finally we arrived in a portal exactly like the others. The bluish air, with a few wisps of magic escaping from it. We ran into it but when the last of our group passed, it suddenly transformed.

Blue gave way to red and instead of transporting us to a dungeon, we were transported to the world of demons right in the middle of a tribe.

Stunned, we looked at the demons just as shocked as we were. The C-grade demon leader licked his fangs while laughing.

"What a nice surprise, it looks like tonight we'll have a special menu, grab them!"

I unsheathed Black Tide and after defending myself against a few I managed to fall back. Black Tide allowed me to fall back because I'll be back in a very short time to slaughter them all.

I found out I could do this ten seconds ago. Instantly I was invisible and escaped the confused demons of my sudden disappearance. Fortunately my companions were not killed but knocked unconscious and captured then placed naked on wooden poles in the center of the village. The body of the girl in our group was really up to par, if we hadn't been in crisis I would have watched her for hours. But back to the point, the slamming equipment of the two boys was ultimately useless, only the boss had killed 5-6 demons before being overwhelmed. The only chance we have is that the tribe we teleported to was only rank D with a rank C boss. If we had come across an A rank tribe, I wouldn't give much of our skin . I was hiding behind a hut of a demons and I analyzed what they were doing. And I seen that they were actually making soup for the evening. These creatures that looked like nothing were very excited to eat Human tonight that they had forgotten about me. Well the plans in these moments are just wasting time so I reactivated the helmet of Hades and I returned to the tribe. I found the chief's hut because it was the largest and best decorated. On returning I saw the same demons there as when we arrived, drunk with the pleasure of the females who were naked and tangled on the ground. I approached him, [Athena's eye] showed me that I could kill him by piercing his eyes. It was the only way and I think that by fighting him one on one, I will have lost largely. I unsheathed my katana and like a blade of judgment slew him like a pig. It was so easy that I suspected a trap. Obviously there was one. I saw the body I had severed disappear like a mirage as the real demon stood at the entrance and blocked the exit. He searched with his eyes and his senses for the assassin but he found nothing.

"what is this sorcery again" he roars

In a sweat, I stood paralyzed in a corner of the hut, pinned against a wall praying to Zeus. Finally he sat down at the entrance of the hut, blocking the entrance like a guard to prevent whoever had killed his double from getting out.

I was stuck and my time was running out.
