"I'm sure is just the stress accumulated over the past few months," Samiri said as she held Hakoshi through his waist.
"Maybe you and the kids should leave for a while," Hakoshi said.
"Is it really that bad?" Samiri asked.
"My intuition has never failed me," Hakoshi said as he turned towards Samiri.
"Then come with us, we can leave together," Samiri said.
"As the village chief, I can't leave my people and run away," Hakoshi said, "even if I have to die, I will die fighting for them."
"It's decided then. I will stay here with you and fight whatever disaster comes at us," Samiri said as she softly stroke Hakoshi's face.
"What about the kids?" Hakoshi asked.
"I will let Samura take them away," Samiri said.
"Will your junior sister be enough to take care of them?" Hakoshi asked.
"She's the only one I can really trust," Samiri said.
