I got summoned to another world as the apostle of god

kenji, a psychology student, never believed in existence of god. For him, Gods were merely ideas created by high society in past to keep commoners under their thumb. On one fateful day, his entire class was summoned to kingdom of Grumania. It was a theocracy, his worst nightmare. But to add salt to the wound, the gods these humans worshipped made him the apostle!?

Kristine's Weapon

Kenji and I had been dating for a couple weeks now. I honestly can't believe it. In our class, there were two major circles and somehow Kenji was the only one who could fit into either group without looking out of place.

He got along with everyone just fine but even then he was good at studying too... Even when we weren't friends, we had exchanged numbers and he would often post about his cooking and whatnot. However you looked at him, he seemed interesting enough to pay attention to.

Even his parents own a business but even then I never felt like he thought too highly of himself... on contrary, he wanted to make name for himself completely removed from his dad's success which was yet another admirable quality about him.

Even when chosen as the apostle, he kept his usual self unlike Liam who is probably on a power trip right now. But even then I'm a bit worried that things could go south. With him being apostle of the Gods, there is a big chance that others' would try to get close to him. I do know he is not the kind to cheat... like he doesn't even cheat in small tests because he is a goody two-shoes but... I can't trust others. I have to make sure no one tries anything on him and for that I have to get some sort of power. While he is trying to level up, I want to go down a different path.

I want to become so rich that aristocrat have no choice but to heed to my words. I want this relationship to last because in all honesty, finding men like him is difficult.

It's only been a couple weeks but I want this one to last. I can't explain my feelings though but deep down I feel like this is the right... and maybe only path for me.

I have a time limit of when he reaches level 100 because that's when he would let the world know who he really is.

While I was walking across the garden in the castle, I came across a weapon... it looked like a spear so I picked it up. I checked the stats and was shocked at what I saw.

Spear of Valedictory

Level 10

Attack: 200

Passive ability: Every attack, whether it hits or not, will give the user 5% boost in attack stat which can stack up to 10 times.

Rarity: 5/5

"wait... this... These stats are insane. Kenji's total attack stat is 200 something so basically this weapon puts me on the same level as them but why is it just lying here?" I wondered before putting my seal on it. I wanted to make sure no one would steal it from me but I needed a great weapon too.

There was something called experience share, which helped me reach level 3 because Kenji defeated Rosaline.

My current stats are looking decent.

Level: 3

Attack: 258

Defense: 55

Stamina: 100

Magic mastery: 0

Skills: Electro magic

It looks nowhere near as impressive as Kenji's but he is the apostle after all. I have to show it to him. I quickly rushed upstairs straight to his room and barged in.

"KENJI!" I called out and showed him the spear.

"What's that?" Kenji asked before getting shocked by the insane stats. "Nice. Now you can be strong too. I think this weapon would work the best if you're on frontlines. Also, focus on putting more work into your attack stat since the weapon only utilizes that." He went on a lecture on how to use it which is so like him.

My nerdy boyfriend.

"why would you just send that weapon down to her? and why are her emotions so extreme?" Deoni growled at Jeyma.

"Need to set things in motion. After-all... it wouldn't be fun to give every power to Kenji... Our apostle."

I was worried that Kristine would become too weak compared to me and Rosaline that she might feel inadequate. I'm so happy she found the polearm and now she can finally train with Rosaline in their free time.

For me on the other hand, I had been reading up on the boss enemies and trying to find out perfect team for fight every single one of them. So far, fire is the most important. It is effective against ice, nature and electric magic and decent against water magic. It seems ineffective against earth and air magic though. I can't find a single kind of element that I can use against these two. Water magic is more effective on fire than fire is on water so it is necessary too. I can use all kinds of magic but I'm not used to fighting in general so I can't go alone. I think I'll settle on electro and Ice magic for the last two types.

Kristine has electro, Rosaline has fire and I have … well depending on the last member I can be either. We need a bow user. Kristine is definitely going to take the frontlines while Rosaline is more of a support and I will take place of a healer and whoever this forth member would be needs to be a bow user who can snipe enemies.

That has to wait for tomorrow. For now... I got up and looked outside the window and noticed Kristine training with one of the soldiers. Let's see how good she is. Unlike me, she doesn't have access to multiple elements to cause the reactions.

Kristine was barely dodging the attacks and as expected, she was just an amateur. I know I'm not much better but I don't exactly have to worry about my ability to use sword because of my access to all the elements.

There was something about her spear though. Her blocking was too good for an amateur. What was the passive of the weapon again? I did read it but forgot... haha.

I was trying my best to land a single attack. If I did then my attack stat would increase to around 300. This man barely has 500 HP. I could definitely one shot him.

I don't even have to land first 10 attacks. I kept trying and counting and then I reached 10th stack. Now I just have to land one attack.... I kept randomly hitting and then it happened. The spear barely touched him but it instantly passed through his body. It didn't register at first but did I... did I murder him?!

Suddenly I noticed a figure jump down from window and rush to us. It was Kenji and he quickly used healing on the soldier.

"I... didn't know..." I couldn't even speak clearly. I thought the weapon would knock him back or something since he was wearing an armor but the spear went through him like a hot knife through butter.

Didn't Rosaline's body form blisters as she was fighting Kenji? But then did... Kenji attack knowing that he could potentially kill her?

"Are you okay?" Kenji asked the solider who just nodded and stood up and bowed slightly.

"Miss Kristine is at least now on a solider level that I can say for sure. If she learns how to use that spear properly, she might get to the same level as Miss Rosaline and other holy knights." He said and the Kenji patted my back.

"She is my girl after-all." He said with a big smile on his face. He rarely ever smiles so maybe this does mean a lot to him but how can I not feel guilty?

When the solider left the garden I turned to Kenji but I guess he already knew what was on my mind.

"Kristine, listen, you have to get used to this. The quicker the better. For that, I can't help you. But just know that I and everyone here understands what is going on so no one is going to call you a murderer even if you do kill someone in a battle. When in Rome, do as romans do. This world is not the same as our previous world. Here we are summoned as saviors of this world." He embraced me tightly. I wanted to cry but I have to endure it.

After a couple minutes, I picked up my spear and sighed at it. It looked so pretty... It had a beautiful teal gem as the spike and it's body was made out of gold. It looked way more beautiful than that bland offering sword that Kenji got but this weapon is just that much more dangerous. From my understanding, Kenji's sword is not exactly a fighting weapon. It is meant to be used by those who excel at magic but my weapon is meant to be used in a physical fight.

Level up! Reached level 4

Attack: 290

Defense: 61

Stamina: 100

Magic mastery: 0

Even then... I have to protect him. There is no other way... even if it means that I have to kill others then so be it.

The next day I was standing in front of the academy gate with Kristine and Rosaline on my either side. It was a MASSIVE academy … almost as big as my college back home. I now have to pretend that I don't have magic. That's why I took military tactics as... a major? That's the closest I can relate it to my world.

The major include history of wars, cavalry tactics, air force tactics, navy tactics, physical education and weapon training. They would teach us how to use every single weapon type and tactics in first semester and then we can choose which weapon we want to go with starting second semester. Second semester and onwards we would be mostly on-field so theoretical subjects are not really taught.

As I walked inside, I noticed someone being bullied. ON THE FIRST DAY?!

I don't know important figures in this world but this school has only important people. Like rich merchants and nobility. So, this is a high profile case.

As he was about to land a hit on this girl, I grabbed his arm mid punch. Apparently gaining levels made my perception faster too. It doesn't show up in stats though.

"How dare you touch me?! Do you even know who I am!?" The man scowled at me. I was genuinely confused as to why he would expect people to know who he was... it wasn't like social media existed here.

"I don't care. I'm one of the summoned ones." I responded. Basically those who are summoned are placed in between Dukes and royal family so until and unless he is not from Grumania family, I'm above him.

"Summoned one?" He started trembling in fear and then he noticed Rosaline following me. "How... is a holy knight here?!"

"We had a battle and he defeated me so according to pact, I'm his bodyguard... Mathew Fou Jilman." She informed him... and also told me his name.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked the girl who was being bullied. She looked up and the first thing I noticed was heterochromia. One eye was blue while other was gray.

She couldn't say anything maybe because this Mathew guy was here.

"You. Leave. I will take her to headmaster and see what we can do about what you did." I said and he fell to his knees begging me to not do that but then Kristine placed her spear on his neck.

"He just told you to leave not beg." Mathew then quickly ran away. This was surely a weird method to make him comply but well whatever.

"And you are?" Kristine asked the girl finally answered.

"I'm Barbara." She answered. "Maid of Jilman family."

"Well... you were... haha." I responded but Kristine elbowed me.

"Read the room, Kenji. Don't worry about anything. We will make sure you get a better job. If not, we will ask the king to just hire you for the castle." Kristine tried cheering her up but well it didn't exactly work.

"So... Barbara what do YOU want to do?" I asked and she quickly took a step back.

"There is nothing other than being maid." She replied.

"No no… I'm just asking what do you WANT to do? I'm not asking what you have as an option."

"I want to... join holy knights. I want to directly serve the temple of Jeyma."

"Done. I'll enroll you into military tactics class.." I had too much political power already but once I announce my actual title, my words would become absolute.

From today starts my life in academy. I'm 19 so I might be on the younger side when it comes to student-body.
