Disappointed
Lilly made William stand up and looked around. There were two paths so she was thinking which way should they go.
She could use her sensing to find the mayor but where's fun in that. That's she was contemplating which way they should go.
William stood up and saw Lilly around. He said, "We didn't encounter the Mayor and he certainly couldn't have come with our way."
He looked at big hole in the thick floor and said, "Then he must have used some hidden path or corridor. I have heard that the treasury was made underground so maybe the Mayor went there."
"Hmm, you're right so let's first check the treasury," Lilly said and chose the narrow pathway to her right. It was clear that the other path lead to outward of the town so she just walked in the opposite.
