Eva took a deep breath, trying to find some empathy for her friend. "I know you did, and I'm glad you're okay now," she said, softening her tone.
"But we need to be more careful moving forward. If the Skyers are real and they have an interest in you, we can't underestimate them."
Andrew nodded solemnly, his earlier fear returning to his eyes.
"You're right," he agreed. "We have to figure out a way to protect ourselves and uncover the truth about the Skyers."
Eva's frustration and fear surged within her as she looked back at Andrew. "So what now?" she repeated, her voice tinged with anxiety.
Andrew's expression mirrored her concern as he replied, "They will know that you helped me... They will reach out to you, I know they will."
Before he could finish his sentence, the commotion outside intensified, and Eva rushed to the window.
