26 – Misfits 23 – Dead & Buried

=That Night, Under The Flyover=

They dragged the rancid smelling bodies into a deep hole they dug right where the construction crew had planned the concrete foundation.

Nathan was gasping for breath and glared at Chris. "How come you're not dying here with us?" He asked accusingly.

Curtis shook his head. "Don't lump me in with you. We actually work out," he said.

Chris smirked. "Maybe your mum wouldn't have kicked you out if you tried it once in a while: or anything that required discipline for that matter," he said

Nathan rolled his eyes. "Oh fuck off," he said.

Alisha giggled. "I don't think you would need to do anything for her to keep you around. You are just her type," she said jokingly.

Nathan frowned. "What's that supposed to mean?" He asked warily.

Kelly smacked him upside the head. "We all know your mom loves massive cock," she said.

She looked over at Alisha with a frown. "But why do you think he has one?" She asked.

Her eyes suddenly widened. " you didn't! Oh my god you did," she said.

Nathan looked confused at first, but only took him a few moments to realise it. His eyes widened too. He alternated pointing between them both. "You… and him?" He asked incredulously.

He looked at Chris. "What's so good about him?" He asked.

Kelly laughed. "Massive cock apparently. Now get to filling the whole you prick," she said.

Nathan grumbled, but got to work.

Between the six of them it didn't take long to fill it back up and flatten it back out again.

Curtis brushed some of the dirt off himself. "That should do it," he said with a sigh.

Simon nodded. "Now we wait," he said.

Nathan rolled his eyes, "stop acting all mysterious you twat," he said.

=The Next Morning, Under The Flyover=

They had all returned to watch as the concrete was poured over the place they had re-buried the bodies the night before. Confident in the fact that their secret should be truly dead and buried now.

=Afternoon, The Community Centre, Main Hall=

The dork running the charity drive walked up to Chris with an awkward smile. "Yesterday, in the car... I don't even know what happened," he said.

Chris shook his head. "Don't worry about it," he said.

He looked over at Alisha and back. "What's up with her, anyway? One minute we're..." he said.

He looked around. "... having sex..." he whispered.

"...the next, she won't even talk to me. She's nuts," he continued at a regular tone.

Chris sighed deeply his gaze turning serious. "Nothing happened and you're going to leave her alone from now on," he said using his power of suggestion.

Although the risk was relatively low, he didn't want information about them and their powers getting out. It was the least he could do for her.

The guys eyes glazed over for a moment then he shook his head. "What were we talking about again?" He asked.

Chris smiled. "Nothing, you were just thanking me for all the help." he said.

"Right... well... see you around," the guy said unsurely and raised his hand for a fist bump.

Chris just looked at him weirdly before walking off while shaking his head.

=The Community Centre, Locker Room=

Chris was changing when Alisha walked in. She didn't say anything at first.

Eventually she sighed. "I'm not good at this kind of thing ok? I wanna be with you," she said.

He shook his head. "You do know I have a girlfriend right?" He asked.

He didn't. The closest was probably Lily. With how much she texted him she could pass for his girlfriend, but they hadn't taken the next step in person yet. With her shy introverted nature when she wasn't using text messages and how caught up he had been with the whole getting powers and killing their probation worker thing they hadn't had a chance to yet. He was fairly confident given the chance they would though.

She frowned. "Wait what?! But we had sex!" She said.

He shook his head. "It's not like I had much of a choice under the influence of your power..." he said.

She frowned. The very idea seemed to offend her.

He smiled. "...though I can't say for sure if it would have been different if you didn't have it," he continued.

This caused her frown to lighten. "Then what the hell am I supposed to do?" She asked.

He shrugged. "You're cute, but I'm not breaking up with her just because of that," he said.

She went quiet.

He sighed. "Look. We got these powers. I'm sure there is going to be someone out there that can help us fix your problem," he said.

She smiled and spread her arms wanting to hug him. "Thank you!" She said.

She only pulled back just in time when she realised the situation. "Sorry I almost forgot," she said embarrassedly.

He shook his head. "That's fine. And if you need to talk just let me know," he said.

Her eyes widened. "Wait you still didn't tell me what we should do about us," she said.

He closed his locker with a sigh. "I've already told you my situation. It's up to you to choose how to deal with that," he said while walking out of the locker room.

=The Community Centre, Roof=

Curtis, Alisha, Chris, Kelly, Simon and Nathan were all relaxing in the improvised break area on the roof.

Kelly smiled. "It doesn't matter who's after us now. They'll never find the bodies. See ya," she said.

Simon looked around the group. "They're gonna think the probation worker's still alive. I stole his credit card. I used it to book a flight," he said hesitantly.

"That is smart!" Curtis said.

"You're dead good at stuff like that," Kelly chimed in.

"Yeah! Nice one, weird kid," Nathan said.

A shy smile spread across Simon's face.

Chris pat hit on the shoulder. "You've done good," he said.

Simon looked at him awkwardly. He didn't seem sure how to react.

"I cannot believe we got away with this shit," Alisha said.
