Chapter 1: The Letter
I heaved a deep breathe as I sat near the windowsill inside my room where the table was placed, dispirited while playing the pen I found underneath it.
Last night, on the time when everyone was asleep, I sneaked outside my room stealthily when I accidentally reached at the knight's training ground and saw them practicing offensive magic.
Truthfully, it made me envious that I even tried generating one. But because of too much mana I possess and lack of training, I ended up causing havoc in the middle of the night, waking everyone up from their deep slumber.
Haa... Now, I really need to learn magic. But who'll teach me?
"Your Highness, a letter has arrived from the Academy."
Violet handed me a letter which I received gracefully. I was about to open it when I acidentally saw the Eclaire Family's crest in the letter's seal.
"Who sent this?" my brows furrowed as I asked Violet.
"It was from your brother, Your Highness."
Brother? Luna has a brother who's attending at the Academy?
"I have a brother?"
"Yes, Your Highness. They went to study when you were six so it's understandable that you may have forgotten them."
Oh, so that's it! Why can't I just seek for some help to my brother to teach me some magic since he went ahead from me to study?
"Violet, when do you think my brother will come back here?"
"I believe next month is their next summer vacation. Why have you asked, Your Highness?"
Yes, that's right! That's the best option I have.
"Violet, bring me a pen---Oh, and a scented paper too!"
"Pardon? I-in a minute, Your Highness."
While Violet was busy preparing the things I said, I decide to open the letter my brother has to me and read it in thought.

How are you these days? The past few months, I was notified by our butler that you were now participating in social gatherings. Then it occurred me that you were already 10 years old today.
By the way, Luna, remember what I told you about the Academy? The next enrollment will start in the next three months. I hope you're interested in learning now since the last time we gave you tutor, you've decided to kill them.
Hahaha! Dear sister, you are already turning to become a fine lady. I hope to meet you soon!

Hmm... Based on the way my 'brother' delivered his words, it seems like he didn't hate Luna at all. Or maybe, he still didn't know Luna's schemes inside the castle.
But wait, how does he doesn't know when the butler was mentioned in this letter? He even said that the butler keeps on updating him about my life that even the case about my attempted assassination with my tutors was already been found out.
Ugh...! I hope he agrees on becoming my mentor.
"Your Highness, here are the things you've asked."
"Oh, thanks Violet!"
Now, what should I write in response? It would be best if I knew Luna's brother beforehand so that I may have a slight idea of what to talk with him. Even his name was so unfamiliar that speaking him closely might be too uncomfortable.
Hmm... Should I tell the truth that I don't know him? Besides, Violet already deduced that when a kid has left by someone for a long time, it would tend to a possibility that 'that' someone may have been forgotten. And besides, I can't find any excuse to talk with him about it so maybe being straightforward might help...?
Haah... Whatever!
After I finished composing my letter, I decided to rescan it and searched for mistakes if ever I had since I am not good with words either.

Violet checked for any injuries but she unexpectedly told me that I had plenty amout of mana the reason for magic explosion. I really want to learn magic but I can't trust anyone here!

Hmm... Much better. I can't find any flaws since I was the one writing it. Haah... How much self-confidence does this body have in mind?
"Violet, send this to my brother." I handed her the letter which she immediately accepted.
"Pardon me for asking, Your Highness, but which of your brothers you were referring?"
"...Huh? Don't I only have one brother?"
Strange. Why is she asking me that?
"You have two brothers, Your Highness. The Crown Prince, Lucius Von Eclaire and the second prince, Alum Cale Eclaire."
"Oh..."
I didn't know that.
"Just send that letter to eldest brother, Lucius."
"Understood, Your Highness."
"And please, just call me Luna."
"I dare not, Your Highness."
"Hmm... What about princess?"
"..."
"...Please?"
"Haah... As you wish, Princess."
"Yay! Thanks."
Violet smiled at me that made me giggle a bit. Since she was too serious for her own good, why not lax her sometimes?
Well, perks of being an assassin.
"Then, I shall send the letter right away."
"Please do so."
Once I secured that Violet has already left the chambers, I unconsciously walked towards the window and gazed at the henchman who's responsible for the letter.
Now, I only need to wait for his response.
