A New Oath

"Where am I?" David opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings, he soon found out that he was in a forest but why was he here!?

He remembered that he was doing a challenge in his house, what is it called? A thousand push-ups challenge!

But the moment he was about to reach the thousand part, everything became black and when he woke up, he was now in this unknown forest.

"Wait, isn't my situation similar to those novels that I read where the protagonist traveled into other worlds?" David thought to himself and stood up and found out that even his clothes had changed.

Then suddenly, a holographic screen popped out in front of him which surprised him. Then his heart began to accelerate because he knew that this thing should be the golden finger.

When he read this information, David felt his heart turn cold, it turns out that he was not a human but he had the body of a human.

But his body is not made up of flesh but instead made up of bombs! David breathed the fresh air to calm himself and continued to digest the other information.

David looked at the holographic screen and stayed at the time of the explosion, just reading that word made him smell the scent of death.

Finally, David looked at the gift pack and he hoped that he would get something good from it after all the information he received didn't have good news.

Then, David tried to communicate with the system, and the words on the holographic screen changed and after a few seconds, a large amount of information attacked his mind!

David screamed in pain and fell to the ground, this pain is like thousands of ants eating his brain and after what seemed to be a long time for him, he wiped his forehead and browse the new information that he received.

David thought that he could get a heaven-defying ability from the gift pack or even a treasure but what he gets is information.

But soon David was in a good mood, it seemed that he really passed through because the memories of this body revealed things that were impossible on earth!

The former owner of this body is also named David, his job was a gladiator at the company and he died because his girlfriend put drugs on his drink which resulted in him being killed in one of the gladiator fights.

As for why he was in this forest, it turns out that the one who killed him was the son of one of the leaders in the company who took a liking to his girlfriend, and then the subordinates of the man threw him into this forest.

"Don't worry, since I took over your body I will help you." David was not a man who didn't have respect, he could see from the memories of the former owner of this body that he was hardworking and truly loved his girlfriend.

But first, he needs to solve his current situation because if not then he will explode tomorrow! From the information he received from the gift pack, he can extend the time of explosion every time he evolved which can be achieved through eating steels that contained mana.

Not only can he extend it, but he can also become stronger! David looked at the sky and slowly began to accept his life in this unknown world.

Before he died, he didn't finish the one thousand push-ups challenge. In this life, David set his goal to one thousand mechanical energy!

After making an oath to himself, David looked at his surroundings and was about to move when he heard a loud voice coming not far away from him.

He quickly hid behind the tall tree and looked at the source of the voice. After a few seconds, two figures could be seen walking in his direction.

David looked at their clothes and instantly knew that they were the ones who threw the former owner of this body to this forest!

As their distance between each other became closer, the voices of the two figures were heard by David.

"This time it is really bad! The boss sends us again to this forest! One of them said and this fat man was cursing and even plucked out some leaves on his side.

"Well, the boss's new girlfriend wanted to see the photo of that guy, enough talk let's go quickly!" The other man said this and it was also a fat man but he didn't have eyebrows which made him look scary.

"Then why doesn't she go to the graveyard and take a photo of those corpses!" The fat man cursed again thinking that the boss's girlfriend had weird hobbies.

David clenched his fist into a ball, he knew that they were not talking about him but he didn't know why he felt the urge to punch these two meatballs.

Anyway, the former owner of this body is dead and he took it and David is not a soft one, he stared at the two figures that were getting closer to him.

"They are fat so their speed is slow, I can hit them and run away or maybe attack them by surprise." David begins to think of strategies but time waits for no one and the two figures gradually arrive at the place where he came earlier.

The fat man who had no eyebrows walked to the place where they threw the guy and found out that there was no one there!

Where did that guy go? Was it dragged by the demonic beast? The fat man without eyebrows frowned and began to contemplate while the fat man behind him saw this and was about to curse again when he heard a loud sound behind him.

When he turned around, he saw that the guy they were looking for was charging towards him and he was stunned for a moment before a fist slammed into his face!

Then a loud explosion erupted which blew the fat man without eyebrows a few meters away. After being confused for a moment due to the force of the explosion, he raised his head and saw that his companion was lying on the ground.

The upper body was gone leaving only the lower parts and the blood that flowed around the grass and the source of all of this was the guy that they were looking for!

Not only was the fat man shocked but also David, his plan was to sneak behind and punch one of them in the head. It went smoothly but he didn't expect that after he punched, the other party exploded!

And it seemed that the aftermath of the explosion didn't hurt him, he looked at his body once again and stared at the fat man without eyebrows.
