True Flames

Walking with utter calmness toward Ava, he said.

"I didn't expect the great Dawn Pure-Heart to be in such a perilous situation...

Hehe, if I'd known something like this would've happened, I would have prepared some cameras, so to take some pictures...

Or wait, maybe I can ask those machos to give me the video footage...!" Saber said with a teasing tone.

"Stop right there. If you move one more step, I would snap this neck of-!"

But, before Ava could finish, spurting out the ground below her was a golden chain that wrapped around her hand tightly enough that for a split second, her grip on Dawn had slipped.

And even though it was a split second, it was enough time...

"I'm surprised. How were you able to disperse this illusion, when clearly, your element is flames. Besides another illusion manipulator, this is impossible... Unless you are one of those with... two elements?!!"

Ben said while appearing next to Ava, who held her hand in pain because of the attack by the golden chain which had already reappeared wrapped around Saber's arm.

Ben had light green hair neck long and also a pair of olive-colored eyes. His features were pleasing to the eye, but not many cared since only power mattered in this world...

Hearing his words, Saber's expression became colder as he asked internally.

"Wait, there are people with more than one element?!"

If he had known such a thing, he wouldn't have been trying soo hard to hide the fact that he had more than one element. Of course, now that he had shown he could disperse illusion if asked, he was ready to bullshit his way through any type of interrogation.

"Of course. The Universe is filled with many different entities and races. Some have two or even more elements. Similarly, some bloodlines allow for this to happen.

For example, some Supreme Treasures allow some to manipulate other elements and even grant elements to an entity." Leviathan replied in Saber's mind.

Throughout Leviathan's little monologue, the surrounding temperatures kept skyrocketing as Saber, who could just barely keep his excitement in check, felt a burning desire to go adventure the Universe to find these people.

His bloodlust was spiraling out of control right now. Dawn had sensed this, and could only shake his head. This was the new Saber, an entity who was slowly becoming a total battle junkie...

Ben and Ava jumped some tens of meters back and into the shadows, away from the vision of Saber who had a wild smirk on his face.

"Come... Don't you dare run away? Not after making my lust rise soo much!"

A sentence that could be used in many different circumstances.

These were words that without any type of context, would surely place Saber as one of those degenerates.

But, the many hidden and influential figures of this Solar System who knew it wasn't like that could only wait in expectation as another display of Saber's power, was about to occur in front of their eyes.

Thankfully, unlike the other time, Saber hadn't ordered Leviathan to edit the scenes about to be displayed through the big screens.

Why was it like this...?

Could it be that Saber thought he wouldn't need to use his True Form against multiple persons who, when working together, could even take down a Reality Manipulator?

Well, this was exactly what Saber was thinking, as with this Reality Manipulator next to him, he was ready to fight for his enjoyment, the enemies who were hidden in the shadows.

"Well, seeing as you refuse to exit the shadows.!!" With a bloodthirsty, and an utterly demonic smile on his exquisite face, Saber outstretched his hands as a brilliant display of light would now appear.

"TRUE FLAMES!"

True Flames...

Previously, what Saber had was Dark Flames...

This was before devouring Isabelle, another flame user.

But, it was only after devouring Isabelle, that was Saber brought aware of the fact that his flames, along with the flames of every flame user in the Universe, were separated into different levels.

But, unlike every other person in the Universe, only Saber, and a select few, were able to raise the level of their flames after devouring the flames of others...

From Dark Flames, Saber now attacked with True Flames, and as hot as the essence which made up the Stars, Saber sent an attack that instantly melted the snow off this snow mountain, and with a display of the magnificence of light, whatever darkness enshrouded this word, was for, a moment, illuminated.

The world would undergo illumination that was caused by the darkest and most evil entity located in said world.

The location of Ben and Ava would be revealed, as Saber and Dawn would realize that it wasn't merely Ben and Ava, as there were also two other teammates present, ready to seemingly send an attack of their own, which would enter the same path of the burst of sun-like ray that quickly approached them.

There attack...

A small ball of condensed energy that crackled with lightning yet made no sound.

A reddish aura radiated and permeated the air surrounding it, and the ball would make one feel an illusion that it was radiating utmost malice and hatred toward Saber, and Dawn...

What was this..?

It was a ball of energy created by four entities who were all at the fifth level of Earth Immortal, and it would go on to attack someone, who wasn't even a Level 3 Earth Immortal.

WAA!!

This ball of condensed energy would seemingly twist space itself, before, in slow motion, would approach the incoming ray of flaming heat.

And even though it would seem slow, in the eyes of the Stellar King, he would be left surprised by how powerful these Earth Immortals were, especially this Saber Blade.

Observing the group of four on the screen who sent an attack toward the incoming beam of energy, he would only think...

'A pity. You four are Stellar Geniuses... A pity you four have met a Genius of Universal proportions.'

The overseers would be left speechless by the battles taking place. Some contestants were showing power equal to or even power that surpassed themselves.!!

"Huh! He was never this strong!!"

These were words that escaped the mouths of the many overseers who observed the battles, as they were now brought aware of the fact that some contestants were very, very good at hiding their true strength.

Back at the battle taking place on the now snow-less mountain, what could be seen was what could be described only as a massive coming together of two forces that would then go on to completely obliterate the very fabrics of space, creating many so-called holes littered across the environment.

What was left of the individuals situated there..?

It was four figures who faced the direction of Dawn, who had long appeared many hundred meters away from the location of the fight.

Saber, on the other hand, was spitting mouthfuls of blood and it exited his eyes, ears, and nose too.

But, a feral smile was still ever-present on his face.

His bloodied vision would gaze toward the four figures, who, under the gaze of Saber, would seemingly begin fading.

Their ashes would slowly disappear as the ray of flame that devoured their attack would also devour them in turn, as not even the atoms that made them up, would remain.

It was yet another group taken care of by Saber, yet, he would remain in second place.

Under the massacre of the one known as Liam, three teams remain, and would soon be told to make their way to the center of this world where...

The final showdown would take place!!!
