I Am The Peak

In a normal world of mortals, Saber was a special existence but, this all changed when he was sent into different worlds, meeting different things, and being revealed to cultivation... Well, at least this was what he expected but, it never changed. He was still special in the end, not that he complained. The endless world of cultivation is filled with ruthlessness and scheming. But, not everything is as it seems. This isn't the story of Saber, but of a being who should have transcended everything... This is his second chance at it...

How To Complete This Trial!!!

"Oh... He went back up to the Second Floor. He said he'll be waiting for us to make our way to him."

Adrianna quickly replied while latching on to Saber's arm. Seeing this, Saber only sighed. Whatever she had experienced in the Tower before he met her, it made her crazed for him much more than the last time he saw her...

But he didn't mind it...

Definitely, it was much better to have one more ally than an enemy. Especially an ally that would do anything one asked them to, even if it was neigh suicide!

...

...

In the epicenter of a massive forest spanning millions of kilometers, a location that would normally be rampant with wild beasts at the peak of the Earth Immortal realm. One can see Oblivion's lone figure hovering mid-air. His red overcoat freely fluttered as he was in deep meditation thinking about his plans.

Though he was in mediation, a piece of his consciousness was constantly surveying his surroundings. Even though he knew not many would come even in a hundred years, Oblivion was still cautious since he didn't have Instantaneous Reaction anymore!

THRUM!!!

But, it wasn't simply the loss of Instantaneous Reaction.

His body was much different.

It couldn't be called a True Lifeform any longer.

He was once more a Flesh and Blood lifeform yet, he couldn't call it that either.

Slice!

Oblivion tore his skin as a white liquid oozed out of it. But, as soon as it lost contact with his skin and began falling to the ground, it suddenly dispersed into a white mist.

This white mist then mysteriously disappeared.

He was confused.

This wasn't all though...

At the current moment, Oblivion didn't even have an element. Though he had the memories and the comprehension of the elements like fire, ice, space, and the lot... he couldn't manipulate the element.

And if it was like kicking a dog while it's down, Oblivion couldn't even sense any energy in his surroundings. Whether it be Atomic Energy or Sage Energy, or the concentrated energy in the air, they all stared clear of Oblivion as if either scared of him or feeling a deep hatred toward him.

Sigh!

He sure was in a pickle if he couldn't get any stronger.

Oblivion opened his eyes as he uttered...

"System. Open my status!" He ordered.

[Note: From The Great Servant Zeno: Do You Wish To Open It]

His brows arched in surprise after seeing the last notification. For the first time in a while, he would once more come in contact with Zeno.

A smirk appeared on his face. He slightly understood Saber's thoughts on Zeno since it was the thoughts of Saber which influenced his own back when he was still a mere copy.

'He thinks he's being used... Hehe, well, technically he is...' Oblivion thought. Clicking the "Yes" button, Oblivion immediately began reading the words which appeared on the blue screen.

...

[Hello, let me re-introduce myself. I am the most excellent and devastatingly handsome over-qualified servant in this realm. Now, to whom will receive this letter... I am not aware. Let me explain why... Firstly, when I first sent you on your first trial, and from there, all of your intentions were calculated. I had already seen your future... all the way up until the fight between Saber and Saber the copy. For some reason, I'm unable to see past this which means, the one reading this has finally evolved beyond the universe and has officially become a member of my race and also has become the Prince of many strong people. No one can calculate the future of any being in my race nor the future of those that this being has come in contact with, which will explain why I'm so blinded.]

The message continued...

[Anyway, we've finally reached the important part. By now you would have realized that you're unable to cultivate nor gain any strength the regular way. The reason for this is simple really. You're a member of the race without a name. You're part of the cause to return everything to the way it was at the beginning. With this knowledge, no other energy would allow you to grow stronger by them since this energy (these intruders) won't want their natural enemy to be gaining strength]

Oblivion read the following contents...

[The way to increase your strength... There are two. The first and most simple and only possible way for the current you is to return everything to nothingness. If you have killed any living lifeforms before opening this message then, after reading this, go comprehend Nothingness, you'll realize something interesting. I don't wanna spoil the fun so I'll be as simple and vague as possible just like those mysterious old men in those novels... You simply need to Annihilate all living things...]

Reading this, Oblivion wanted to close his eyes and begin comprehending his element now, but he had yet to fully read the whole message...

[Your third trial has officially begun. What you experienced before couldn't be labeled as the third trial since it was much too tame. To enter the fourth and final trial before you can take your rightful place on the Throne of our race and sit next to your true mother, you must obliterate this Universe!!! Due note that your other brothers have all failed in this third trial, so proceed with caution...]

THRUM!!!

For the first time, Oblivion heard a mention related to his family. To say he wasn't interested in them would be a lie... but his head was clear and his goal was right in front of his eyes.

[My final words... Oh Master, whoever you are now, please be careful. The only reason I'm unable to meet you right now would be because something is threatening my life. But don't worry, I'm super strong so it shouldn't be too life-threatening. Anyway, I hope to receive the news that you have done something even your other brothers haven't been able to do. Because if you're able to do this, you might gain the attention of the other members of your race even when still a weakling. For such a prideful and powerful race, that would be something special...]

[Always remember this. Your path will be lonely. Even if you have allies, do not trust them too much. After all, you and they live in two different worlds. While they seek to dominate the universe, you seek something outside this. Your path will lead to Emptiness. It isn't the path everyone can walk Young Lord]

After opening the message a few moments ago, Oblivion closed it. He had already read everything long before a second had passed. But, his mind was still dwelling on the contents of the message.

He who previously didn't think too highly of his family suddenly painted them in a mysterious light and thought.

'Why wasn't there a mention of my father? Is he dead? Impossible... Maybe, he simply is soo strong that he would never place me in his eyes!'
