"What!!"

The young man who had seen his father, a Prime Immortal, a lifeform even stronger than Golden Immortals, with serious injuries, had never seen him heal as quickly as the one laying on the bed right now.

The speeds of regeneration between the two couldn't even come close as a few minutes after removing the Space energy, the gaping hole had already disappeared along with the wound on the boy's right chest, not only that but...

Thump!

Thump!

Thump!

His beating heart made it possible to understand that he, this boy, had regrown his heart.

'This... Is this not true Immortality...?' The young man thought. His black pupils dilated in shock but what would come soon after was the true shocker though.

As the two figures were left speechless by the scene which played out in front of them, the boy's long eyelashes fluttered before his pitch-black eyes revealed themselves to the world.

They darted to each corner of his eyes in fractions of a second before his bare upper body shot up as his two arms flashed toward the two unsuspecting figures.

One was a Pseudo Golden Immortal, and the other, it was unknown what realm she was in but, both didn't expect a body that was half-dead for three days to suddenly shoot awake in an instant and suddenly attack them.

Puchi!...

Blood sprayed out, dying the ice ground in red. As both hands penetrated through the bodies of the two figures, one body sprayed out blood while the other seemingly melted into water.

Urgh...!

"W...Why?" The young man could only mutter.

This white-haired boy, no, Oblivion, on the other hand, was seemingly affected by what previously happened with Xavier as he shouted.

"Annihilation!!"

A dim white light exited his pores and surged through the body of the young man.

Immediately after, the light in the boy's eyes disappeared as Oblivion yanked his hand out, causing even more blood to splatter all over.

THRUM!

By the time he had caught himself, he had already done the deed as he gazed at his arm with slight surprise.

He hadn't realized what had happened as he moved solely on bodily instinct after sensing the auras of the two figures that were next to him.

As he was about to take another step though, he felt as if the world twisted, his vision turning hazy for a moment before clearing up.

Immediately, the world became clear, much clearer than it had ever been!

"So, this is how it feels in the Ninth Level of the Earth Immortal realm!"

THRUM!!

Immediately after killing the young man who was a Pseudo-Golden Immortal, a weak one, Oblivion instantly entered the last level in the Earth Immortal realm.

'Hmm... I don't remember entering this place though... Oh! That woman, she escaped did she not!!'

Oblivion's senses flared as he sensed great danger approaching but before he could sense where it was coming from, a veiled woman appeared in front of him, with a pair of cold eyes that seemed to stare deep into his soul.

'Where did I see these eyes before...?' Oblivion thought, 'Oh! Isn't she the Golden Immortal who we had met as soon as the bastard Xavier started boasting? What shit luck do I have to meet a Golden Immortal the moment I am reawakened.'

"Little guy, what you feel isn't what is supposed to be felt when one enters the ninth level of the Golden Immortal realm... But, more importantly, as soon as you wake up, you jump realms... tell me, what in the devil's name are you?!"

The coldness contained in her eyes made an illusion of countless swords poking into Oblivion's skin as his expression darkened. The woman in front of him seemed dangerous. It seemed as if she could easily kill him with a light wave of her hand. But, after all, he was Oblivion, so it was easy for him to regain his unusual calmness.

He carefully said while cupping his fist and slightly bowing his head to not anger this woman, "Senior, what do you mean? Surely, you aren't like those other people who look down on those that aren't like them... Senior is it that I am not a pure-blooded human, you despise me, or is it that I killed your companion...?"

Hehe... A light chuckle escaped the lips of the veiled woman as her eyes formed into crescents. At this, Oblivion shuddered as he felt a chill run down his spine. The mere actions of this woman caused such reactions... surely she wasn't merely a Golden Immortal? Otherwise, these Golden Immortals are too scary!

"Oh, do you think I too am a Human? And, as for that brat you killed, I merely borrowed him to see what was wrong with your body. It is best to kill him soon as his father would surely track him down which would start a battle against someone who even I am not 100% sure to defeat."

THRUM!!!

'It seems like I killed a true member of the Upper Echelon of this Universe. Someone that even a monster like her is unable to defeat... Sigh! I sure am unlucky.' Oblivion thought with a slightly saddened expression. It seemed that after the initial burst of good luck, everything has not gone even half as good as it could have.

From almost being killed by a suicidal man, and now to mistakenly killing the descendant of someone who could kill him with a wave of his hand, and finally, being in the presence of someone who could kill him with the wave of her hand, that to without knowing if this person is a friend or foe.

"I still don't understand the reason for you to gain interest in a mere Earth Immortal like myself?" As he said this, the veiled woman chuckled once more as she replied.

"Imagine my surprise when a 'mere' Earth Immortal was leisurely floating in a river of lava inside the Inner Sector of Heavenly Mystic Domain. 'Mere' Earth Immortal, let me tell you that any Earth Immortal and most Profound Immortals would have turned into skeletons upon contact with this lava so tell me, are you truly a 'mere' Earth Immortal?!"

THRUM!!!!

"Shut up... You're talking shit! I only want to be alone, get stronger slowly, and then complete my mission, but why is fate making it soo damn hard?!" It was what Oblivion wanted to say but he didn't dare. How could he dare be so rude in front of the beautiful monster? Plus, he did not sense any threat from this monster, so he didn't want to risk anything.

The current situation he found himself in was something beyond what he had predicted. His brain racked itself trying to analyze the current predicament he faced. It analyzed every expression the veiled woman made and tried to pry into what type of personality he was dealing with. Lastly, it was continuously calculating what was the best way to go about this without incurring the wrath of this woman...

Ahh!

Something clicked in Oblivion's mind.

"You want to know what I am, right?" He questioned.

"Well, more precisely, what race are you exactly part of? I haven't come across something or someone like you. Your regeneration is commendable and something that would constantly improve the stronger you become, and the ability to hide your cultivation too. Whatever race you're part of, it has never been inside Heavenly Mystic Domain before... well, at least, I've not run across it before...!"
