Chapter 183: Henry Vs Ash (Part 1)

"I didn't even use my second element... These people are trash, and it seems so too are you all!!"

With a disgusted expression, Zaman stood to his feet as he leisurely strolled to the exit of this room while uttering, "I guess this is the last time I'll see you, people..."

The group of four could only watch as the person they each looked up to as the strongest, simply left them without a seeming care in the world. They all weren't at fault though, especially the blue-haired boy. Liam was an abnormal Genius, even Zaman was in for a definite surprise when the two meet.

As Zaman exited the room, he appeared in a wide hall some tens of meters apart. Standing next to the door of the room, on either side were the figures of two females in made outfits. Grabbing hold of Zaman's shoulder without him even being able to react, he was shockingly teleported in an instant..!

...

...

...

WAA!

In a flash of light, Zaman along with the two females appeared in a beautiful and exquisitely decorated throne room. It was an incredibly large one, much larger than that of Saber's located in his origin system.

Hundreds of meters away from Zaman were two kneeling figures, Liam and...

Dawn...

Seeing them, he realized that these two were the other Geniuses who passed the trial, and then he gazed toward the direction these two knelt facing. This was when he saw the pristine white steps that led to a darker-than-black throne.

Sitting on it was a figure that...

BAM!

As he was about to see the appearance of the figure, Zaman's knees slammed into the ground from an incredibly powerful pressure, caused by an aura that washed over his body.

Urgh!

A pained groan escaped his lips.

Before he had even realized it, he had found himself kneeling, and he was kneeling only a few meters behind Liam and Dawn.

'Huh? In an instant, I've found myself soo close to those two?' He couldn't believe such a speed even though he had experienced it first hand...

...

...

...

Ash...

Ash, the brother of Liam...

At this moment, Ash had found himself in a face-off against a dark-blue-haired boy who stared at his last opponent with a weird gaze. With a confident smirk on his handsome face, he said...

"You must be Ash Sacred... First on this ranking right?" Hearing his question, Ash replied coldly, "Is it not obvious..." His rude answer didn't seem to faze the boy though, as he replied by saying, "If this is the case, then something doesn't add up. You're incredibly weak, so I don't see how you can defeat many opponents!"

THRUM!!!

Shock...

Shock and anger coursed through Ash's veins. It had seemed like the blue-haired boy had hit a soft spot as Ash instantly jumped toward Henry, causing the latter to express his confusion by saying while dodging the incoming punch with relative ease.

"Huh? As a cultivator, it seems like you do not have any patience whatsoever... Have you not cultivated your mind?" Henry questioned... "You're able to join this competition, meaning you have some talent, yet you are still this easy to control..?"

Ash didn't bother listening to Henry's words. Instead, he immediately sent a powerful kick to Henry's stomach as...

BANG!

To Ash's surprise, he was sent flying back and crashing into a building.

Slowly getting back to his feet, Ash looked toward Henry in confusion, especially after seeing Henry's stance was basically the same, with a hand in his pocket and him standing casually. The only difference is his free right hand which was at the same spot where Ash had set his last attack.

'Did he send me flying without even trying to?!' Ash thought as a shock unlike any other surfaced in his mind. Ash thought, 'Even my brother isn't that strong? Don't tell me...' And as he was about to finish such a horrifying thought, he shook his head, 'It isn't possible for there to be someone stronger than "Him"

Now that he had seen how powerful his foe was, Ash instantly raised his arm to the skies, before slamming it into the ground!

*BAM!*

Immediately, Ash pumped an insane amount of energy into the ground as his energy dropped significantly to 60%. But, Ash did it without any hesitance since, any lifeform that could make him even momentarily think of comparing them to his brother, he deemed this one a threat... A serious one at that.

Sensing the great energy budding underneath him, Henry quickly jumped away, as right after, something incredibly sharp shot out of the ground.

BOOM!!

"The Wood Element?!"

The thing which shot out of the ground was an incredibly sharp and powerful piece of lumber.

"Huh?" Henry, confused by the stinging sensation on his cheek, wiped this area, where shockingly the red liquid he deemed his own blood, was present!

'He had cut me?!' Almost in disbelief, Henry gazed at Ash in a new and improved light, saying, "It seems I've been looking down on you a little too much." His words got a cold smirk out of Ash, as he replied.

"I'm glad you know, now would you do me a favor and-" But, before Ash could finish speaking, Henry replied, "Who told you to talk soo much? That should be left to the winner..." And as he said this, he immediately dashed toward an unsurprised Ash, who was also ready to battle in close quarters.

As they both were some meters away from one another, Henry sent a powerful palm whilst Ash prepared a punch. A punch amplified by Ash's sudden strength increase from entering Elemental State. He hadn't waited for mid-fight which was the normal thing that took place in battles.

Normally, one would first test the power of their opponent before transforming, but Ash didn't bother following the norm since he wanted to finish this battle fast. A power somewhat comparable to his brother Liam? He didn't want to wait and see what secret ability this person would use to win the fight.

And since he was in his elemental state, he was confident that with this shock move, there wasn't a chance that this Henry would possibly survive.

*BOOM!!*

The fist and palm collided, and a powerful shockwave that instantly cleared anything in an area of ten kilometers square was reduced to nothing but rubble.

BAM!!

Shooting away at an incredible speed was a shocked, and confused Ash who had blood leaking from his mouth and a bone that penetrated his skin. His right arm was immediately turned useless from the previous attack, and although he was unsure the reason why, but Ash was sent flying from the moment he came in contact with that palm.

"It would seem that you're a sly one Ash. To think you'll enter an elemental state even before the fight actually begins... But, seeing as your that eager to end it, I'll oblige and follow suit!!"

*RUMBLE!!*

Immediately, tremors began running throughout the whole city. Henry's aura spiked and he calmly spread his arms out wide as if welcoming the power about to course through his body.

Unknowingly, an arrogant smirk surfaced on his face, but it quickly disappeared as he floated in the air and gazed toward Ash with a pair of unnaturally calm eyes.

Behind Henry, the manifestation of a Yin-Yang symbol made its appearance, and between his brows, a smaller one also appeared.
