CH - 5 Working of Magic

Suddenly the walls started emitting some kind of energy. The energy emitted by the walls covered the sky in a dome-like manner and formed a barrier.

Tyson - 'Was that supposed to happen?' he questioned himself and to his surprise, he got a reply from a voice and the voice was familiar to him.

??? - { Yes brat, that was supposed to

'Heh! Why are you in my brain? Get out right now!' Tyson started spinning his head to throw the dragon out of his mind

{Nothing will happen if you spin you head like that. You just look stupid to other people.} Chrystal laughed watching Tyson spin his head.

Tyson got embarrassed by the Dragon's statement and asked. "So what exactly is happening here?" Tyson asked pointing at the magic dome that was getting invisible now.

{The magic particles in the surroundings are gathering in a place forming a high-level barrier } Chrystal said as it was very obvious.

"I see it will work as a defensive shield from above. By the way, Chrystal are you a girl!" Tyson asked curiously

Chrystal got flustered at Tyson's comment and shyly said {How did you know?}.

"So you are accepting it, good. I just thought that Chrystal is more of a girly name" Tyson said with an 'It was simple' expression. (comment on how that expression should look).

Crystal was speechless. She didn't think that it was very obvious to find that she was a lady.

"Anyways, now can you tell me about the magic system that works here, like how the magic work and is graded and all that"Tyson asked seriously.

{Alright, that is easy} Chrystal smiled and started explaining how magic works in the Battle realm. ( RECOMMEND GOOD NAMES!!!)

Several types of magic exist in this realm. There is 'Chanting magic' which involves chanting of spells and is also a very common type of magic. Beginners use this magic to master the basics of the use of energies ( There are several types of energies and you will get to know more about them later in this chapter).

After getting the basics, One can use 'Chantless magic' which is the second type.

One can materialize the spell without any chant.

There is 'Demonic magic' which is used mostly by devils and demons.

There is 'Holy magic' which is mostly used by priests and paladins.

There is 'Godly magic' which is considered the strongest magic and not much is known about it.

There is 'Dragon magic' that is used by the Dragons and is very strong. Second only to the Godly magic.

There is also 'Body cultivation' where instead of using energy to cast spells, one puts the energy inside their body to make it stronger.

The last one is 'Rune magic' which involves the usage of several runes or ancient letters.

One puts the energy into these letters which mostly helps in the creation of artifacts.

Now about the energies, there are several different forms of energies. Few of them are

Mana - Mostly used by magicians and Rune magic users in the casting of spells and making of runes.

Aura - Mostly used by knights and such for body strengthening.

Dragon force - Used by dragons to use

Dragonic magic. Can be used by their contractor.

Godly force - Used by Gods, power unknown

Holy energy - Used by High ranking popes and paladins.

Demonic force - Used by True Devils and Demon kings/Queens. Can be used by their contractor.

Mana is used for most of the spells but only 1 in 100 people can use it. The same goes for Aura. The rest of the energies are either racial or can be achieved by advancing further in knowledge and strength.

The ranks of knights are divided into

Beginner --> Advanced --> Master --> Grandmaster

And ranks of a magician are divided into

Beginner --> Advanced --> Magus --> Grandmagus

All the ranks are then divided into 9 different sub-ranks.

"Is that so, then what am I most suitable for?" Tyson asked Chrystal curiously. He wanted to choose the field he was best suitable for and the best person to ask about it was Chrystal.

{Hmm... Your body has a lot of potential for Body cultivation but because you are my contractor, you can also use dragon force} Chrystal said with a proud smile.

"Hell yeah! I am getting more and more OP! So Chrystal how do I do the Body cultivation?" Tyson asked excitedly.

{You have to feel the energy and then try to absorb the energy inside your body, you also have to set up a space where you will store all the energy gathered.} Chrystal explained.

'Hmm then I should go back to the castle and there I will do what Chrystal explained' Tyson thought and moved his head toward Alfred who was calm now.

"Is something the matter, my lord?" Alfred said in an indifferent tone.

"Aren't you shocked by all that?" Tyson asked, he was wondering how can Alfred be calm after watching all that.

"It is my job to be by lords side all the time and seeing you grow in a day made me realize that you will achieve more than this so how can I be shocked by this only? I must stay calm in this situation to help you the best I can" Alfred said, still in a calm voice.

'What in the frikking world are you, you frikking Batman's butler!' Tyson thought and said, "Alright, then it is time to head back to the Castle".

"Yes my lord, Sir Tony please escort us to the castle," Alfred said.

"Yes!" Tony shouted

A few minutes later

"Now I am finally in my room, let's get the body cultivation started!" Tyson said in the empty room.
