CHAPTER TEN
"Cordelia's-" Levi started, but I was already punching him in the stomach. Nothing. My fist just collided against rock-hard abs covered with a fancy suit. "Ugh! You Earthworm! What the heck! I saved you, so why the heck are you here? to make my life miserable?" I said, throwing a few more punches.
"Well, I-I was going to ask you not to kill them, but you seem to have that part covered…" Levi said hesitantly, and I raised an eyebrow. Hmm? "Oh! I get it! Are you feeling sorry for harassing me earlier?" I asked, poking Levi, who hesitantly nodded. "Yay! That's what you get, sucker! Anyway, you can go back now. All forgiven, and I got a few good comebacks in there anyway ~~" I said, waving my hands at Levi. He blinked at me.
"But what about-" Levi started, and I put a finger on his lips. "Nope. Not telling. That's all the information you get. byeee," I said, turning Levi around and shoving him out the door. And slamming it closed with the gusto of 7 crazed toddlers. Lots of gusto.
"Alright. Back door. Out, before anyone sees us." I said, helping everyone out the nearest door, which was, ironically, right next to the cell. Many of the priests gasped as they stepped outside, probably for the first time in ten years. Almost instantly, they all disappeared into the bushes, and I sat down on the steps next to the doorway.
Everything was so royally screwed up right now. But the faces of those priests, smiling and whispering a few thanks. Everything was still messed up, but…
"It's a bit better than before. Just a bit." I said to myself, as the wind ran through the trees.
