Explanations

The urge to breathe grabbed his lungs, a stinging pain in his chest as his body slowly subsided into the dark of the abyss.

The light from the world disappeared and the welcoming of death held onto him.

"Where are we?" Vin asked immediately as soon as his legs touched a cracked ground, with lava spilling from various holes around.

"Home!" His reflection answered.

By this time, Vin could clearly see who was taking the form of his reflection. He was not one to be called human.

Snake scales, he could see on his pale skin. He wore a cloth resembling a yukata. Beside that, he disposed of a ferocious aura, enough to envelope this place he calls home.

"Home?"

"I stay here"

"What are you? Who are you?" Vin couldn't help but ask. Who stood before him was a mystery.

"My name is Yika and believe it or not, I'm actually part of Dravil now. However, to make things understandable, I was trapped by that beast, Dravil, for as long as I can remember."

"More than a millennial?"

"More. I have been in this dimension, called Devsh, and I have adapted to it, even more than you can even think of…"

Vin looked around the arid devastated land, he couldn't believe one can be trapped for that long.

"Can you leave?" He asked Yika who let out a long loud laughter. "Why the laugh?"

"I never knew someone would amuse me in a long time. Actually this is the first time I laughed so long and hard-..."

[This guy is strange.]

"Okay?"

"I cannot leave, this is a punishment as you can see"

"A punishment?"

Yika smiled, showing a fang, "I am a demon, a demon snake and you won't actually want me to leave this realm. I am chaos and no one can control the damage I bring and cause," he stopped, narrowing his eyes at Vin, "Except for you."

"Okay, let's not get too hasty here" Vin said, not knowing why his expression switched to danger.

"Dravil, a powerful demon with powers which can not be counted…"

Vin took interest in hearing what Yika had to say, so he shut his mouth and paid attention to all the words.

".... First of all," Yika continued, looking directly at Vin, "You don't behave as Dravil does"

"I know that-"

"Dravil speaks fear into the body of those who stand in front of him!"

"Whoa!"

"And you!" Yika stepped closer, "You speak safety and security into the hearts of your subordinates. And trust me, it is annoying."

"Got it. So, I have to install fear and terror into the minds of others?"

"Yes!"

Vin nodded, understanding why Aragon would raise a brow at him, now and then.

"Due to your goody goody, Sebastian already knows you are not Dravil!"

"Wait what!" Vin stood in shock and fear upon hearing this.

"Yes! And it is actually pretty good. Cus' Sebastian is a trustworthy demon. Like it or not, he is one of a kind and would stick to his master till the very end" Yika explained, "Anyways, now that Sebastian knows you are not Dravil, it will make your adventures more interesting. Having the ability to shapeshift, it would come in handy these days!."

All the words Yika was saying remained stuck in Vin's head. None, just none escaped.

"..... Do continue"

"And also I will explain this world you transmigrated into."

"Right about time, this was the part I actually waited for. An explanation of this straight up strange world!" Vin said, ready to learn about his environment.

'Strange, the boy seems to not understand his true self. He doesn't get the part of being in the body of a terrible villain, Dravil. I wonder if he knows this is a curse. Nevertheless, it is my responsibility to teach him about all this and I will' Yika vowed within, as he watched Vin.

[Curse? What curse? For real? Now I am getting really curious!]

"Number one, don't read people's mind straight up." Yika suddenly said, making Vin rub his neck nervously.

"But I can't help it!" He said.

"You can if you truly understand the powers installed in you. That would take a while though."

"Wait a sec, how did you know I read your mind?"

"You really are low in common sense ain't you?"

"Hey! It was a question."

"Back to where I was explaining," he continued, despite Vin's cries and begging to be explained, "Yes. You are in a world of monsters!"

"Thanks for telling me that, I never knew."

Yika smiled before continuing, "There are four, not four, five main beings you should know that dwell in this world."

Yika snapped his hands, making the environment change into one looking like outer space.

"One, Demons—creatures from hell, having impressive abilities. Ranked as well."

"Like me?"

"Like you, because you possess the body of Dravil, so I make it personal!. However, you are not only a Demon."

"Awesome, wait is it bad?"

"Two, Vampires. These aren't the ones you imagine or men who can transform themselves into bats. Although those exist. They are horrid creatures of the night, having exceptional strength and driven by an unquenchable thirst for blood. They have the form of a monster in a child's nightmare, yet, there are some which are men, without this horrid look. Let's say, they are quite good, I guess."

"Interesting. Are they around these corners?"

"No, they dwell in the land of Donork, a place of Vampires. You will soon embark on a journey there, a place where magic is an abomination and seen as witchcraft."

"Say what?"

"Three, Monsters. You have come face to face with them so many times. Hrigon, Spidux, are just two of a kind. Dragons, gigantic serpents; There are millions out there with the power enough to rip out your very soul..."

Vin stared at Yika with one part of his head listening and the other, wondering how he could see with those snake eyes of his. Those were Vin's thoughts as Yika explained.

"Four, Magic users. Mages, Wizards, warlock, witches. Lots more with the ability to channel magic through their body and stuff like that."

Vin again, nodded.

"Five, Swordsman. Men with exceptional sword skills. Call them powerful with their Swordsmanship. They are powerful, and can control various skills with their blade and unleash different powers from within."

"Powerful indeed!" Vin told him, without breaking character.

"Next, You need to leave now in order to get back to Zenphek and prepare for the Demon meeting tomorrow. A meeting which Sebastian would explain all to you."

"Okay. Thank you."

"You're welcome." Yika said, as Vin walked away from the realm.

'Poor soul. He is in the body of pure Darkness. Before long, every power in Dravil will enter him, making him a living weapon of death. Vin, I hope you can fight the Darkness and terror of this Demon. I hope you can achieve your goal. Be careful, the world you are in is one big land of adventure and the path of destruction as well.'
