Chapter 21 - Goblins 

Steven went toward Aria and the others. Aria and Hina were seriously looking at the portal when they suddenly felt someone coming toward them. Instantly, they turned around to see who was coming toward them because they did not want any normal person to come there. Danny, Tanvi, and the others also looked in Steven's direction. After finding that it was Steven who was coming toward them, they just sighed.

Steven came close to them.

"Good evening, Miss Aria and Miss Hina." He greeted his teachers.

Both of them just smiled at him and then once again focused on the porter. Steven went toward his friends and talked to them.

"What are you doing here, Steven? Previously you said that you are going to meet an old friend," suddenly a boy asked him.

"Sigh, actually my friend and I came to this cafe. But who would have thought that suddenly a portal appeared in front of the Caffe? " Steven said to him while sighing.

" Where is your friend? Did you warn him not to come here? " The boy once again asked him.

" Don't worry Mike. I already told my friend not to come close to this portal or it can be very dangerous." Steven told the guy who called Mike. Stephen did not mention the name of his friend because Alex did not want to meet Danny and the others. After that, all of them started to tell all those people to retreat from there. This can be dangerous for them.

At this time, the portal was getting bigger and bigger. Just looking at the portal, Aria and Hina can tell that it was a temporary portal, which means many monsters will come out of this portal. Also, until they did not kill the Boss monster, they wouldn't be able to close the portal.

Fortunately, those normal people already seemed to feel the danger that coming out of the portal, so they had already retreated very far away from the portal. Because of this, Steven and his friends sighed. With this now, they will be able to fight those monsters that will come from the portal. All of them quickly bring out their weapons and their clothes turned into fighter suits. If you look at the suits, then you will think that they were strong enough and fancy. But these suits are made with very strong material even though they look thin.

Actually, they are already wearing their battle suits underneath their normal clothes. They just put those normal clothes in their storage rings.

Sometime later, the portal was now already stable, and anytime those monsters could come out from this portal. Aria, Hina, and all the students were now looking at the portal. Suddenly, something came out of the portal. This monster looked like a goblin. He has a rusty sword in his hand and a leather Armor on his body.

After coming out of the portal, the goblin observes his surrounding area and then looks at Aria and the others with his red eyes.

One by one, many goblins started coming out of the portal. Already, 30 Goblins came out from the portal. All of those goblins were now looking at Aria and the others. Suddenly, those goblins roar and begin to run toward Aria and the others.

"Sigh, they were only at E-grade stage 1. Steven and the others will easily handle them." Aria thought.

Until they didn't reach the A-grade, the fighter needed to break through 5 stages in every Grade. Only then will he be able to break through to the next grade. When they reach A-grade, the number of stages increases. At that time, they needed to break through 10 stages to reach the new grade. Steven and his friends were now in the E-grade 3rd stage. Not everyone was in the third stage, some of them were in the first and second stages.

Quickly, Aria signals all the students to fight the goblins. At this time, she and Hina will keep an eye on the portal. If any monster that is out of Steven and the other's league comes out from the portal, only then Aria and Hina will fight. Steven and the students were already running toward those goblins. All of them start killing those monsters.

Alex, at this time, looking at the monsters. Unfortunately, he doesn't have any observation skills that will tell him about other people's status. So he could not tell others' status, but using his super sense, he can easily tell that those monsters were a little weak compared to Stevens and the others. But the major advantage of those monsters was that they were greater. 30 monsters had already come out from the portal, but Alex knew that it wasn't the end. Many monsters will still come out of this portal.

Alex POV:

Well, I have to say Steven, and his friends are good at fighting. But I still notice some flaws in their moves. Well, I did not do anything, just silently stayed in the cafe and watched the fight. Uncle Harry was also with me, looking at the fight.

"What are these things? Do you know anything, Alex?" Suddenly, uncle Harry asked me.

" Uncle, I am also not sure about this. But looking at those strange creatures, I feel like they were goblins. I don't know if those monsters really were goblins or not. But I think that those people who were fighting those monsters will be able to kill all of them." I told uncle Harry. Well, I can see uncle Harry was very nervous at this moment. So I told him not to worry because those people who are fighting those monsters will kill all those monsters.

Uncle Harry seems to relax a little after hearing my words. He then once again keep looking at the fight and said to me,

"Haha… who would have thought that little Steven would become this strong? Look how easily he was killing those monsters." Uncle Harry told me with a surprised expression.

"Yes, uncle, you are right." I agreed with him and then watched the fight.

I already recognize Danny, Ronnie, Maya, and Tanvi. These four were the friends that I had in middle school, but when we went to high school, all of them changed. Ronnie and Maya suddenly started to ignore me. You can say at this time Danny became my best friend while Tanvi became my girlfriend. But as you know what happened after that?

Except for these four people and Steven, I can see three more students from the Royal Academy. Two boys and a girl. All eight of them are right now fighting those monsters. I can feel the energy fluctuation from them. Like my lunge skill when they were using a sword, air slash coming out from the sword. So this is the spiritual energy that the fighter has. They use this spiritual energy to fight against those monsters.

Steven also was using his sword. But suddenly I noticed that the fire began to come out of his sword. So they even can summon fire. So what about the other elements? Well, this is the question I am having right now, but let's forget about it. But at the next moment, I got my answer. Because not only Steven but the other students also use the element's power. Steven, Danny, Tanvi, and the unknown girl were realizing fire from their weapons. Ronnie and the unknown guy release the power of water, while Maya and the remaining girl release the power of the wind.

Now really, this is interesting. It looks like they can change the nature of their spiritual energy and release that with the help of their weapons. Now the main question is, can they release that Power of Elements when they do not have their weapons? Well, I can do that, but that was spell casting. Using my Mana, I can cast spells. Well, I can also release fire or water while using my sword. But when using my sword techniques, I am unable to do that.

Now coming back to the main matter, Stephen and all those students easily killed those goblins. 30 goblins went toward them, but right now only 10 Goblins are left. I think this makes all those students happy. But instantly, a different type of monster came out from that portal. This wasn't your normal Goblin. The size of this Goblin was big compared to the previous Goblin and also this new Goblin has a muscular body. He wears iron-plated armor while holding a big sword. Just looking at this monster, you can tell this Goblin was different from the previous goblins.

At this time, I noticed that this new Goblin was very powerful compared to Steven and the others. But this Goblin was still weak compared to Aria and the other lady. So for now, I don't need it to help them.
