Chen's father was in the study room, discussing ancient wisdom and current affairs with his old disciples, really fired up, when Yu Jingting and Suizi walked in.
"Grandpa, have you eaten?" Yu Jingting greeted warmly.
Seeing the two of them, his expression turned from one of pretentious bravado to mortification in a split second.
"Jing, Jingting, when did you get here?" Chen's father stuttered.
"Just thought I'd swing by because I missed you. We're practically family."
