I Am Anti-romantic

Ep; "Yeah but can't we do that some other time?" When he frowned grumpily and didn't say a word, she smiled and cupped his face, "My handsome boy, I promise to go out with you some other time. Max is left alone with Maggie, how's she gonna cope with that babysitting all alone?" "I know but–okay, when next are you coming." "Well let's say–" "Tomorrow." He quickly suggested. Holding her both hands in his, he kissed them, "Please, visit me tomorrow." P.S; Credit to cover owner.

Déjà Vu

After seeing the number of eyes that just rolled at her, she groaned as she clutches her hair and messed it up the more while she walked and stood before them in front of the large TV set.

Her father who has been thinking of what just happened as if it was a déjà vu stood up with darkened aura around him. He knew for sure that he won't take it nicely on her this time.

"What's the meaning of this? Will you get out of her and get lost for life?" He fling her out of the TV stand without caring if she might land on her stomach or back.

Finally, she was lucky enough to grab the armchair beside the shelf. She held it on tight and stood up confidently. Her eyes glance at everyone of them. They weren't sparing a glare at her either and the expressions on their faces could tell her that she just ruin even the little joy they had this afternoon.

Pushing the strands of hair braids covering her face, her eyes has been swollen from crying as she drove off from the hospital down to her place. It was an hour ride journey and up till now, she still feel humiliated and thinks she can't show her face in the Flynns mansion.

Especially not to talk about how her fiancé's sister insulted her. Geez, it's the first time she has ever seen the bad side of that woman and it happens to be taken out on her. She didn't regard their friendship and her fiancé couldn't even speak on her behalf.

She tried calling him after he left her in the hospital and he kept declining her calls. The one message she received from him after he decline her calls fourteen times was 'I need space. Give me breathing space, I beg you with everything pleasant. Don't disturb me.'

And since that moment, she switched off her phone and didn't do anything but cry, cry, cry her eyes out. Now she's standing in front of her family and she look rejected. She has already checked herself on the side mirror of her car before she came in and she could see how haggard her appearance looks all of a sudden.

Without putting up an argument with what her father just did to her, she turn her gaze at her elder brother. He wasn't staring at her anyway. "Dong-Hyun." He didn't give him his normal title this time.

"How may I help you?" He sounded even more crueler than her father from his tone as if they were strangers.

"What did you mention to Sebastian? Please I need to know what it was and why you did it."

"As an elder brother I did the right thing. He has to know about it before he finds out in the future when it might be too late."

"What do you mean? What are you insinuating?" She drew closer as her eyes narrowed, "Are you partnering with the others to ruin my relationship too?"

He first of all sat up properly as his forefinger pressed against his lips, "Am older than you with couple of ages and one more statement from you, I'll tell you the number of gaps through one slap."

She froze and stood on her tracks. Thinking her grandma and younger brother would speak for her because she knew her mother won't, besides her father too. But the expected did say anything.

Infact they're fustrated and don't know where to start from in helping matters like this. Including Dong-Hyun as well. He is the most confused being amongst all. If he had knew that Sebastian was one of their enemies, he wouldn't have drew closer to him that much.

But come to think of it, the young man is nice, innocent, averagely friendly towards people. Such people doesn't have the motives of hurting someone. His instincts had to him so, but because of his messed up head, he has to chide his sister first.

"Jin-joo," He made her sit beside him and curved his hand over her shoulders. He took a deep breath. "Don't think I'll apologize for insulting you. But I'll say sorry for not playing my role as an elder brother."

"Dong-Hyun, you're talking differently I don't seem to understand your point." She's confused.

"By now, you are fully aware why we want to detain the Flynns in court."

She hesitated for a while and nodded.

"Yusheng and I talked last night after I ended the call with Sebastian. I came to understand that he did what he did because dad and his father asked him too."

"I apologized and pleaded with him bountifully." He sighed. "I didn't mean to ruin your little celebration after the new trophy but after I eavesdrop on our parents conversations, I informed Sebastian and apologize before he finds out in court."

"How did you know he might find out in court?" She asked.

"Because dad said he was going to use that against them."

She turn her face towards the old man and he sneered at her. "Dad, is there anyway we can solve this without resolving in court?"

He didn't say anything and she clench her hands tight. One thing she dislikes, when she asked a question and she's ignored.

"That doesn't mean Sebastian is not my pal. What happened has happened. You're carrying his new family inside you and so it affects us too. We are also tied up with same rope Jin-joo because you made it so. Sorry I didn't know the Flynns where––you can't appear in court."

"Why?"

"Two things; you're pregnant and you're famous." He spoke flat as he poke two fingers out.

"Grandma?" She looked at her grandma and she went to sit by her side.

Zhou caressed her face. Jin-joo could see her slightly red eyes from the glasses. She felt her sympathy. "My little girl, if this is what dates wants, then so be it."

Her hands went straight to the top of her head and she added, "I bless you and Sebastian in your new life. Your father won't do this because he had disowned you last night."

No wonder he flinged her and kept her quiet. She looked at him as tears rolled down her eyes. Her mother was sitting by his side and only gave her a nod. "Mom?"

"Jin-joo, if you're with us then be with us and tarnish that thing in your belly but if you say no then I too have summon all tiles with you from today."

"What?!" She stood up with both hands by her side. She was stunned. "Mom, dad, you two know very well that I can't terminate this pregnancy anymore and–"

Cutting her off, Lee retorted, "Point of correction madame, if you want to address me, don't call me your father because you're dead to me since the day your stubbornness grew fatter than a mustard tree."
