A Tough Trap

Clark along with the other two left the scene, although they didn't have any flying craft which they could leave with.

They were able to fly away with a system set under their custom-made shoes which helps them to fly in the air and travel to any place by using energy.

By using energy meant to make these shoes float or move, they had to use energy of their own to connect it with the system.

It does drain energy but it's not that much at all.

While both of them were floating in the air, they saw Clark standing on the ground. B1 looked down at Clark who was staring at them.

He shouted at Clark, "Clark what's wrong? Why are you not using your shoes to fly?".

B1 didn't know that Clark didn't have shoes like them which could help him fly. He did catch on to it, when he looked at his foot wearing normal looking shoes.

"Oh, I see that's the reason you can't fly" B1 commented after realising, he wanted to fly back to the ground and carry Clark on his back. That is what he had thought to do.

But he had not yet seen what Clark could do.

"System, flying mode would you activate it".

[It's not something you can ask, you can just fly in the air as you please, you're making it look like it's some sort of ability you need permission to use]. A very… some type of answer from the system (rude).

Seeing such an answer from the system Clark made a bit of an awkward look of realisation, he said, "right my bad".

Clark's feet rise from the ground, slowly moving up and up and away from the ground. B1 and B2 were once more stunned by the view that they were seeing with their eyes.

"Wait, can he fly?! Then what else can he do?" B2 said with a dazed look. B2 unlike B1 wasn't present when Clark was fighting Alex, to him seeing this was naturally common along with his reaction.

Clark flies near B1 and B2, he said as he stops when reaches a certain point. "We should hurry, we have no clue what type of trap the code master has set, but we shouldn't waste anymore time and save those people before any disasters strucks"

While the scene shifts towards an office of a tall building. Everywhere around the room was filled with splashes of blood,on the sofa to the floor.

Many people in office suits were killed by the man who was standing next to a giant window glass, he was watching the outside view with a calm look and his eyes which were filled with various numbers.

It was code master, his hair being red, along with his suit he was wearing. "What kind of trash world has become? I was expecting a lot of changes since the gates were very useful to them but who am I even expecting from?"

"They only use their brains at what's in front not the improve and solve there problems when they can"

"What a waste, just like all of these people I should just take down some more"

[You can't do anything like that, follow what your told since you are being benefited along with god of system]

A system said, it was similar to the evil system to be more precisely it was the evil system.

It seems like he had taken another criminal as a host.

"God of system, I would have thought it that you would be a bit modified and unique type rather yours just a game system"

"No, not at all what matters is the benefits I'm getting from you"

Code master turned his head to the left where the system screen was at, he looked at the system with his serious looking eyes.

He questioned, "what kind of matter do you have with that boy?".

[That boy, he's someone that could be a bit of a problem for me]

Code master was a bit confused , although still understanding that the boy must have some sort of special thing to him that made the system want's him dead, in order to fix his confusion he asked.

"How is that boy a problem for you, if you don't mind answering"

[He has something special just like you have already thought, he holds a great power that can block me from entering this world]

[I can't conquer this world if that boy grows more stronger then he is now]

The code master read silently, after he finished reading what the system had said. Code master looked away watching the outside view. He said, "it's not my problem what's your problem, all I have to do is to kill him and make this world under my control and become strong"

"For you to chose me means that you understand well that i am a person who only cares about my own benefits, to get benefit from me or to use me means you have to give me something that satisfies me"

[That is why I'm leading you with my power, your smartness and understanding. Someone who doesn't become arrogant and cooperate easily]

"i made a wonderful trap for that boy that you want to kill so badly, he would not be able to understand it even if he does, that would be to late for him"

"Even if he is able to know how to solve his problem, then another problem will arise for him"

"His escape is impossible now, I can assure you that he's not gonna win even when he has the higher ground, power is meaningless against those who have oversmart it"

Clark landed on the footpath which was beside the road, there were buildings and shops around.

Everything seems to be completely fine, no chaos between the people. Clark was confused by this as he said in his mind.

What the, everything seems to be fine then why would the system tell me to save people.

[Code master is using his ability Death Launch]

[Death launch - an ability which allows user to kill as many people as he can within a certain range by exploding them with their own blood after the timer goes down]

[You have to deactivate the timer by 2 ways, destroy the time clock which the user sets somewhere at a certain place or you have kill the user]

"Not good, that means no one knows anything here that they will die and I have to look for the whole place—" something clicked in Clarks mind as he quickly said "wait you can detect the code master? And the time clock."

[Unfortunately I'm unable to detect due to the evil system interference once again it seems like he's using code master as his host now]

[We have to see every place manually]

"D*mm*t, that evil system once I meet it again I will shatter it into pieces." Clark said angry who was feeling anxious along with his anger towards the evil system and code master.

He was in a tough spot.

"Then i should start the search"
