Chapter 1: Kyubey, Grant Me My Wish!

In the world of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Kyubey forms contract with young girls to fulfill their wishes - in exchange they have to fight the Witches throughout their whole life. Witches are entitiy borned from despair and negative energies, while Magical Girls are its anti-thesis as the one who represents Hope.Witches have power to kidnap and spirit-away people, control their minds to do the unthinkable and cause so many harm to the people. Magical Girls combat these evil through their power.Each time they use magic, the power in their Soul Gem would be consumed. Killing the Witch would cause them to drop Grief Seed, which they can use to cleanse and purify their Soul Gem.Failing to purify their Soul Gem would lead to their death - and them turning into a Witch themselves. Though very few Magical Girls know the fact that Witches are born from Magical Girl. Most of them only thought they would dissapear from the world.However, with the sacrifice of a certain magical girl, Kaname Madoka, she gave salvation to all Magical Girl - she became a God, Madokami, that gave mercy and let Magical Girls end their life with a smile - at least they won't spread despair onto the world.Witches no longer exist since Madokami established a new rule of the world - before a Witch can be born, Madokami will come and give Magical Girl salvation across all timelines no matter the place. The rule is called 'Law of the Cycle' as named by Kyubey. This new rule causes Witches to cease to exist - but negative energy still creates monsters called Wraiths.In the new world, MG are granted a wish in exchange to combat Wraiths - they too drops Wraiths Cubes that can cleanse their Soul Gem.However Homura; who had turned back time using her Time Shield multiple times remembers everything. She cannot accept the fact that Madoka had sacrificed herself. The very person she loved became a concept, a rule of the world. She cannot accept this.Through Homura's rebellion - she stole a part of Madokami power - turning her into a similarly powerful figure with godlike power, Homucifer. She splits the human part of Madokami from its divine counterpart, trapping her in her Labirynth.Through struggle between the two cosmic entity, another new world is born.However Kyubey who obtained a piece of time shield - Homura's weapon that can turn back time - Kyubey remembers the existent of Witches.And Keichi, an unnamed rare Magical Boy remembers them too. He remember the existence of Witches due to his dreams that he had as if he had went through different timelines....Sensing the spatial fluctuation, the white angel of a goddess with pink hair and golden eyes comes out of her God space.A spatial fluctuation concerns Madokami as it can affect the stability of the world.Homicifer also comes out of her God space, fluttering her fallen black angel wings, annoyed at what that psychopathic bunny- kyubey is doing this time.She glanced at what seems to a spatial crack, then at kyubey, and the gir- a boy(?), who is about to establish a contract.Through multiple timelines, neither Homura nor Madoka ever sees this happening.Perhaps it is one of the special timelines where the boy somehow had a very high karmic potential and made a different wish this time.In fact, Keichi is just a normal magical girl (boy) that aren't even named living in Kamihama City.Through repeated timelines, with butterfly effects in place, Keichi holds greater and greater karmic potential. Why? Because each time Homura resets time, Keichi somehow felt he had a long dream about the previous time. At some point he felt like he had gone through the same thing multiple times. At some point he even thought he was crazy. Because he can predict what happens next. The crazy part is that… He remembers failing to stop his closest friend, and his lover's suicide over and over again and eventually the city is destroyed by Walpurgistnacht or even crazier witch that sized so big Keichi think it can destroy the whole planet [Kriemhild Gretchen - Madoka Witch].He remembers fighting such a Witch with every magical girls across the whole world. They ultimately failed. He had fragments of memory, trying each time to save the one he had loved with the fleeting dreams he had, making different wishes to Kyubey. He had wished to reset time once but was told he don't have enough karmic potential, whatever that is. He remembers he died in different dreams he had. And some of them it was cut short.And thus, Keichi has a high karmic potential at this point. Seeing the potential, Kyubey comes to make a contract. They pick teenage girls because their emotional fluctuations are the highest and thus have the higher energy gain. But there are few exceptions where a teen boy also has similar emotional sensitivity.Keichi is, you could say, feminine. He personally identifies himself as non-binary as he never put any thoughts about his gender when it comes to his feelings and decisions, but he does prefer men in terms of sexual attraction. While it's unclear whether that have an impact on Kyubey wanting to make a contract with him, he thinks it's beneficial.…"I want to live in another world, with Magic, Gods and Dragons, like in fantasy stories I read! I want to be free from this meaningless cycle. Please grant my wish, Kyubey!".???Kyubey stares at the boy with its blank red eyes.Kyubey, who had always been rational actually regrets trying to make a contract for this boy."Such a wish is impossible. There's no such thing as 'another world' with concepts such as gods, magic and dragons you are referring to. Though, I could however send you to a different civilization that had creatures similar to dragons and similar technology"."No…"Sigh… Keichi can only sighed. He believed this bunny words saying he could grant him any wish. Suddenly he can't."Nevermind then…""Let me think of other things…".Keichi had tried to remember most of his dreams. Each time he remembers he wished something slightly different. But he can never change the outcome.It's because of society, the world itself, that the very person he loved leave this world. And even the one time he thinks his wish went well, even the ending are twisted - causing him to fall into despair and died.Keichi had gave up trying… and wanted to run far away.Of course, kyubey can't grant it. But what comes next surprised them. 'A foreign energy?'. Kyubey exclaimed in disbelief. Kyubey looks at the sky. In fact, every kyubey and magical girl in kamihama city look at the sky with an incredulous look.A spatial fluctuation and a crack in space appeared, as if trying to force a gate open.The spatial crack opens up enough and a white ethereal hand goes to grab Kyubey, pinching him between the two titanic fingers.Kyubey who had always been rational can't seem to rationalise the energy behind the figure. As if it has a different physical law entirely.Another world.Kyubey and its network confirmed readings of wavelengths that did not comply to the physical law – confirming existence of another world. Kyubey thought the multiverse was made from branching of times. But this energy coming from the spatial crack is an independent existence made up of an entirely different physical law.Since it can be observed, it means it can be experimented. Kyubey and its hiveminds had their usual scheming.Regardless.The ethereal fingers, after few seconds of holding kyubey infiltrates kyubey's mind and even their hiveminds!"Impossible. You are able to see through our minds, and stealing our secrets? What are you".The ethereal fingers simply flicked Kyubey into the spatial crack like it's some trash. [I can grant you your wish. In exchange, live in my world, and simply live as fate decides] Keichi was shocked at this sight. What the hell is that?Madokami and Homucifer stood by watching. Feeling the foreign God of another world is not hostile and does not mean harm, they only watch. As for the contract, it's up to the boy to decide.Although Keichi is still shaking and trembling at this bizarre yet majestic sight, he can't help but agree.'Yes. I accept. Please grant my wish!'.White light surrounds him as his soul is condensed to form the silver white soul gem. The soul gem then transforms into a hairclip with a white glowing diamond on it. The glow recedes.The ethereal hand reaches out to him, attracting him with a pulling force pulling him close to the gate. Soon Keiichi enters the spatial crack and disappears from the world. … He soon found himself awake in the middle of the forest. He wonders where is this. He enters the gate and now he's in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully the full moon somewhat illuminates the forest a bit.As he walks around, he found the forest is easily silent. Although he could hear rustling leaves here and there but there's nothing else."What power do I have as a magic user anyways…".Keichi tried to cast magic thinking about ball of light with his imagination.Of course, it doesn't work.Then he simply conjures his soul gem, and used it as a torch light.*Rustle*2He felt alert hearing a sound from the bush. He touches his soul gem. Hoping to use its power.Then a white bunny ear plopped out of the bush.'Kyubey?'.Kyubey went out of the bush, calmly crawled out and licked his paw like a cat."Keichi. You are here as well".Of course, from kyubey perspective, he got thrown into the spatial crack and lost contact with the rest of the kyubeys.Kyubey sees Keichi and simply jump onto his head."You have become a magical boy I see". Kyubey eyed the soul gem on Keichi's hand."kyubey, do you know where we are?".'Unfortunately I don't'.Keeichi shrugged. At least he has a companion now to walk along this…eerily silent forest.As he walked, he suddenly felt the ground felt off.Earthquake?But the more he walked, the more the vibration felt clear. It's not earthquake. Something is walking and its enormous weight is shaking the ground!Keichi stop his steps and walk in the opposite direction. He doesn't want to deal with whatever makes even ground shakes.As the walk the vibration reduces. He felt relieved…Until he feels the vibration is increasing, and feels more obvious. He even hears the trees shaking and as if something is running at fast speed causing them to fall and leaves to rustle behind him.Sense of doom overwhelms keichi.Kyubey screamed,'Keichi, it is coming at us! Run!'.Keichi hurriedly ran as fast as he could. But the thing is still approaching closer and closer.At some points it's only tens of meters away!Kyubey turned his head to observe what it was."Keichi, it's a Wraith with 2 heads chasing us".In kyubey's view, he saw a tall humanoid figure with 2 heads with horns and sharp teeth rushing towards them. It's called double headed ogre in their world Elysia but of course kyubey can only say it's a Wraith although that's inaccurate. 'You can try to transform and use your power to defeat it'.With kyubey reminder, Keiichi conjures his soul gem and placed it close to his chest.It glows a bright light before engulfing Keichi body. [Transformation scene] Keeichi, with his tears in his eyes, and his heart broken, tormented from dreams of the future that is waking sluggishly suddenly tripped and fall into a white portal causing to transported into the past. He keeps walking and end up tripping at the same place and returned back again. It repeated countless times. Tears finally fell from his eyes.He took of his shoes and placed them on the ground. He jumped into the portal, giving up everything. As he falls another portal appears below and transport him into the sky. He falls into a portal and transported to the sky. Again, and again. Each time he passes the portal a part of him is transformed into his magical uniform.He is now adorning a silver white light armour, his ears turned longer to be like the elves, and he seems graceful and beautiful, like an elven warrior. The silver metal plate covers his pads and chest, while chainmail covers the rest.His hair turned white and his eyes remains a sapphire colour. He was caught by a glowing whitish silvery net, or rather, a tangled mess of silver ropes tied with a loop at the end.The tangled sheet breaks as it can't hold it and snaps causing millions of light particles to assemble and forms half a cape on Keichi's back in an instant. He fell to the ground gracefully. He stood up. A tiara with his soul gem embedded in it forms around his head as the final touch. Keichi stood in the empty space and reach out his hand into a white illusory portal and took out a silver white rapier, holding it with a wry smile. [Transformation scene ends.] He turned his back. He felt nervous and yet excited at the power he had.He has a feeling about his power. The power of space.He stabs the air with his rapier, stabbing the space!It stabs into an illusory white portal-the blade ends up protruding in front of the ogre front another portal, stabbing one of the ogre's necks!He took out the rapier and now did a slash,The sword forms a spatial cut at the location of the slashing and around the ogre's other head. The sharp edge of the blade comes out to slit it's throat!Although there's not much explosive display of power, Keichi thinks he is very strong.The ogre fell down and seemingly dead.Keichi released a sigh of relief.He took a rest as he untransformed himself.He wonders what direction to go to find a nearby human settlement…'Dodge!'.Kyubey suddenly screamed. Keichi quickly look behind and-A huge tree is being sent to Keichi. Unable to react, it directly crashed into Keiichi's body and slams him to the others trees. Multiple bones are broken. And one of his legs is twisted 180° degree.AAAHHHHH!!!!Keichi screamed out in pain feeling his own bones puncturing his lungs, stomach, spleen and every organ he had as well as his twisted leg.The ogre is still alive.The one head which he stabbed at first is still barely alive."RAAAAAWWWWW".The ogre screamed in anger as it sluggishly jogs to Keichi.Keichi is still wincing and crying in pain with tears in his eyes. It's so painful. All his body is screaming in pain. His soul gem had faded a bit with a hint of dark grimes appearing.Ah… He didn't expect it would be so painful… He don't even know where he is ... And he will die all alone like this…His soul gem shows a hint of despair as a few dots of dark impurities covers his soul gem.He really just wanted to start anew. Wanted to find a place he can be free from everything.The ogre stood in front of him."Keichi! Keichi! Don't give up yet! Your body is made up of magic and its…". Kyubey wants to tell him his body and soul is separate and stuffs and wants Keichi to repair it with his soul gem and that he cannot die unless his soul gem is destroyed.Kyubey voice is fading. Keichi really wants to sleep right now. The pain is slowly fading somehow. Along with his vision.While his vision is blurred, a massive fireball hit the ogre causing it to fall backward…Keiichi's vision soon fell dark.…
