Kane is My Familiar!

Finn and Ryo were invited into the house of the esteemed marquis.

Finn and Ryo both gave their greetings to the messenger but declined the offer.

The messenger pressured them few more times until they finally gave in.

Finn and Ryo walked with the butler through the streets to finally arrive at the marquises house.

The marquises house was big like a mansion but at the same time it was also on the small side.

As soon as they entered they were greeted by a marquis and his son, who was an exact replica of him but smaller.

he walked toward Finn with a smell that gave of cigar ashes.

Finn greeted the man and walked with him to a room that looked as if it was made specifically for making decisions.

The marquis sat them both down but turned most of his attention on Finn.

The marquis then said "i am interested in your familiar. it is in the level of Strong is it not?"

a moment of silence had taken place now.

the marquis then continued "I will offer a total of 100,000 Credits to have your monsters contract."

when you make a contract with beast they turn into your familiar.

this contract is more or less a slave contract but it depends on how you nurture your beast. For example. Finn can sell his contract with Kane and give that contract to the marquis. The marquis will now have total control over the contract and the beast.

using this method of sales people often sell their contracts to nobles for a high price.

Finn declined this offer saying "I have no intention of selling by contract nor my beast with it."

The marquis was furious because he was pretty high up in the noble hierarchy and the only people who were able to give him orders was a duke, archduke or the royal family.

The marquis increased his offer to 200,000 Credits which Finn again declined.

The marquis who is now visibly angry, said 1 million credits.

Finn again declined.

The marquis was now boiling with rage "i was going to let you off easy but now, since you angered me so-"

"shut up" said Finn stopping the marquis mid sentence.

The marquis summoned his guards and ordered a execution of Finn, he then proceeded to call Finn unruly names not knowing he was digging his own grave.

you see, the marquis did not know yet that Finn was the second prince of the Druya kingdom but if he did, he certainly would not say those things.

Finn chuckled and summoned Kane to kill all the guards but didn't actually kill them just intimidated them.

The marquis stepped back little bit when Kane went behind him and pushed him front.

Finn then summoned Morningstar and sliced the marquises hand off.

with this warning Finn and Ryo walked off riding their beasts as fast as they can go as to not get caught.

Finally after a few hours they reached Phoenix academy.
